I am totally fed up with Sendle after using it for 3 months for my small business. At least half of my online orders have had 2 week of delays in processing the pick up/delivery. Currently I've got a large order that is potentially lost after sitting at the hub collection for almost 2 weeks. It is not worth risking your new business' reputation using Sendle. It has been the most disappointing and frustrating experience ever and will be looking to switch to another delivery service.
Packages never turn up on time. You launch a late parcel enquiry and they magically find the parcel within two days or they take a week to respond after your package is two weeks late. The shipping information that carriers produce is inaccessible so you can't tell where it is without waiting for Sendle's response. Unnecessary middle-man services like these are trash.
I decided to give this low cost shipping company a chance. It has been nothing but head ache. They say they will get back to you in a few days, they never do, you have to contact them over and over to get someone to respond and they always use the excuse that they are having unusually high amounts of e-mails to answer. Well I know why. Had several packages not get delivered for over 3 weeks that were sent via 2 day air. Filed to have it tracked, didn't hear back from them for months. One package never arrived. Took them two months to determine it was lost, then told me to file a claim for insurance, then denied my claim. They are a joke.
Even though the cost feels a little high, it is on par with most other delivery services for small businesses. The site makes sending a parcel a piece of cake, they have always been reliable, fast and efficient. After 200 shipments the price will come down a bit so hopefully I can keep using them and bring my cost of shipping down to a price that I can work into my online orders to increase overall sales!
Many thanks for this, Kim! Your feedback means a lot to us - we'll make sure to share it with the rest of the Team for all the good vibes. Happy Sendling!
They constantly go back on their word, extremely poor form, parcel arrived damaged and they managed to blame me for using a polybag, which by the way is used by millions of companies around the world as a standard packaging item. I'm out of pocket $350. They are f--king criminals.
18 days and still not collected 25km from Melbourne City.
This is the third package that I've had the same issue with.
Have contacted Sendle twice, no response.
Asked for refund. No response.
Never again.
I sent over 400 parcels with Sendle on a monthly basis. But now looking for a new company. They delay pick up constantly and it is bad for my company's reputation. The delay used to be 1 day. Now it is 2 days. I send in multiple feedback and support requests before but the replies are usual standard replies. We will look into this. It has been for 10 months. I'm disappointed with myself in allowing them to abuse me.
Do not make the same mistake I did by using Sendle. My parcels have been sitting at the depot for 2 weeks waiting to be collected. They don't have a contact number and are so slow to respond on email. Avoid avoid avoid! Aus post has been really reliable!
I've been waiting for an order to be picked up for 5 working days now and customer service is just telling me that someone will come the next day. This is ridiculous I've been stuck at home for 8-6pm for a whole week. I've done every instruction and amended pick up instructions a few times as suggested by CS and nothing. I would never use this service again. My package is still waiting to be picked up but I'm just going to go via Australia Post on Monday. I am extremely disappointed in sendle
Just wanted to share my experience with Sendle. Sent pressure cooker from Melbourne to Sydney, took them almost two weeks. Cooker arrived badly damaged - and it's not a fragile item, it's stainless steel...
Reply from Sendle was pretty arrogant - sorry can't help.
They don't take any responsibility and don't provide any cover for damage/loss.
So BEWARE
God where do I start!
Shocking customer Service and they are not contactable by phone, only email.
All local pickups, they use Couriers Please. Pickups a lot of the time don't come and you have to reschedule them for the following day. I am still chasing a local parcel that was to be delivered literally 10 minutes walk away from me. It is now 11 days since pick up and it is still not delivered and now we have all the easter public holidays. Don't even think about using their overseas service, its 3 times slower than Aust Post and the same price. My advise would be, stick to Australia Post if you want a reliable more organised and professional service! The couple of dollars you save each parcel, you end up paying more in the time you have to chase them up. I know I wont be using them ever again!
I run an ebay store and over the last 5 weeks have had issues with at least 50% of my packages. Taking days to be collected, collected items not being scanned, items being collected but not scanned, items not moving through the system and being declared lost but compensation refused.
They ignor all my correspondence, until I told them I was taking the complaint to the Postal Ombudsman. They have been running around me all day trying to fix things, but I told them they can deal with the Ombudsman.
This unreliable service is damaging my ebay business. I will be contacting ebay to advise the issues.
If you want to keep trying to *******@sendle.com usually gets a response after 5 or 6 emails, but it does give you a paper trail.
Reading these reviews, I'm glad to hear that it's not just my parcels.
If you want your parcels to vanish after the driver scans it in, and then never seen again. Then ship with sendle. Poor customer service. Avoid them at all costs. Yes they are cheap but it will cost you way more in the end.
Hi Harry,
Thank you for raising your honest feedback. This is Paulie from Sendle and I'm here to help!
First off, I'm so sorry to hear that you've lost several parcels with us. As it is only in our best interest to deliver all the parcels entrusted to us and provide a seamless delivery experience to our valued customers, this is not the level of service we wish to provide and I'm keen on sorting this out with you.
To ensure we've covered all bases and see where we're currently at on this, would you be able to provide the email address you've used on your Sendle account? In this way, I can have this thoroughly reviewed and see how we can have these cases raised best addressed.
Do let us know how you go, Harry. Keen on resolving this for you.
If there's anything else you'd like to raise, I'm always here.
Thanks and hope to hear from you soon!
Sendle has charged me over $60 for a package to go from Melbourne to Sydney and then back to Melbourne because hiding in their terms have small print saying that they only send to P. O. Boxes for certain countries. At no point when submitting the shipment information was this made known to me, they took my money and picked up the parcel only to send it back after a couple of weeks.
These guys expect to be able to compete against the established players but seem to have no accountability or care when the gaps in their service come at the cost of their customers. I will be taking my business back to Australia Post from now on. Such a shame that the customer service lets down the company as it will only take one bad experience such as this to turn away previously loyal customers for good.
Their Customer service is basically non-existent And they don't give a rats bum if you don't receive your package. My package has been onboard with courier for delivery for days now and no one can tell me if/ when it will be delivered. Package is already 2 weeks late and not a chance of getting anyone to answer regarding it's whereabouts.
1 Star is generous for this excuse of a company
Beware they never tell you post delivered and can chargeback you more. SENDLE decide to make a top up charge whenever they feel like it is under charged the first time, based on volumetric pricing, it is their total discretion. Don't argue and no proof of measurement once your parcel has gone.
Just debit your credit card without telling you, no email at all after. You just see a surprise debit in your credit card statement.
I had parcels to send in various states. All were collected on time and almost all delivered; one parcel was incorrectly addressed (receiver's fault) and within a few days was returned intact. Excellent service.
Thank you for sharing your Sendle experience, Cec! We appreciate it. Cheers to more parcels :)
Terrible. My item was sent to Oakland distribution center (where I live) then routed to TEXAS. No info or update from anyone about where it is. It is now a week past the expected arrival date and no clue what is happening because customer service is not responsive at all. I'm never buying from anyone that uses sendle again.
Do not use Sendle for the delivery of goods from Australia to NZ. Goods were held at Customs for over a month. Sendle did not notify the sender of this. Sender had to work directly with Customs, DHL and the local carrier to resolve the matter (which would have been avoided had Sendle provided the appropriate documents to Customs and DHL in the first instance (airway bill and invoice for delivery)). Goods were delivered over 2 months late. Customer support non-existent. Incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience.
Sendle claim they delivered mail which has not been delivered.
No proof of delivery has been provided (photo)
I live in a large multi-storey tower with no safe place to leave packages and was home on the date of "delivery" no one used the intercom to notify me of the "delivery" honestly how hard is it to press 4 buttons or leave card in the mail box and drop my parcel at the post office for me to collect.
Never use sendle they are no help, Australia post any day. Might be a bit slower but I've never had any problems with them.
Answer: Impossible to get hold of customer service. No phone numbers and they don't respond to emails despite sending an automated response to say they will be in touch.
Answer: Absolutely not. Appalling. False information. I need my wheel battery, they repeatedly said it has not been picked up yet the shop who sent it says it was picked up 4 days ago. They have lied to me.
Answer: I used to use them because they were reliable. Now I wouldnt use them if they were the last courier company on the face of the Earth. Completely unreliable, unprofessional and dodgy.
Answer: I would look elsewhere. They started out good but niw measure boxes by volume which is very costly.
Sendle has a rating of 1.7 stars from 505 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with Sendle most frequently mention customer service, phone number and next day. Sendle ranks 385th among Shipping sites.
