Found Sendle to be very affordable compared with others. Sent many parcels with them with no drama at all
I have mailed things nationally and internationally and they arrive on time or early. I love this service and it is faster and easier than going to the post office.
We're really happy to hear about this, Dionne. Thanks for sharing your Sendle experience! :)
First of all Sendle when you get it right, wow its a great service but when you get wrong, boy do you have a lot of improvement still do to. I'm only going to mention 1 issue today as I won't have space.
Current and still pending issue: The courier company lost my parcel and due to this the customer has left a bad review and requested a refund. As the contents were under $300 I submitted a claim and provided the invoice. The shipping and taxes cannot be refunded which is totally understandable however, they tried not to include my gift wrapping service which gives the customer AAA batteries with their order. The consultant didn't even mention it, she just hoped I wouldn't notice. Well I did, and I asked her to review the claim and again she declined saying it wasn't on the declaration. Where in your terms and conditions does it state this?
I send a minimum of 7 parcels a week, yet Sendle you are arguing over $5. Have you ever heard of making a commercial decision. Let me break it down for you, over 1 year I will spend around $3,800, what would you prefer a loss of $5 (that is a legit claim) or lose $3,800,. Not to mention my business is new and growing, we except to double our sales in the next few months, so you could be losing $7,600.
You are about to lose another customer!
Cant ask for better service from making the online booking to pick up at the senders door to delivery to my door.
All a very fast and efficient process.
If you wondering why in some cases your E-Bay purchase never arrives or you feel that you could ride your bike to the seller quicker then be aware
EBay will now offer Australian parcel delivery service Sendle as a shipping option directly in the platform for the first time
If you wish to avoid the troubles that Sendle will cause when it comes to delivery of that purchase then check that the E-Bay seller is not using Sendle as the mail service
I ordered a box of ethical toilet paper from Who Gives A Crap. The delivery was estimated to arrive between 15 - 19 Dec. When the parcel didn't arrive I assumed everyone was busy with Christmas so I gave them a few days grace before following up.
They told me they assigned my job to Fastaway, Fastaway didn't know where my parcel had gone and they would look for it. I have been getting updates every few days since late December (it's now 15 Jan) telling me they are looking for the parcel and will get back to me soon.
I finally got an email from Sendle today, telling me they can't find the parcel, they can't do any more for me and to contact Who Gives A Crap to arrange a replacement to be sent out.
The hilarious part is that I spoke to Who Gives A Crap just over a week ago now, they apologised and said they would send a replacement out (I'm assuming via Sendle). The replacement was supposed to arrive mid last week. Guess what? This one hasn't arrived either!
The staff at Sendle seem very nice but I can't give them more than one star as they literally have one job - to move parcels between the sender and the receiver and it doesn't appear they are very good at doing that.
SCAM OF A COMPANY! Delivery never even attempted but their liar drivers mark as if they tried to deliver. $#*!ing disgusting company. No phone number to call.
This useless 'carrier' was unable to pick up my parcel. After 2 weeks of waiting and days of nagging, I am picking up my order and posting with a different carrier. They are useless.
Hi Rose, we're sorry to hear about this. We'll pass this feedback to our courier partner and investigate on what could have happened during this time. Rest assured that we'll continue improving our services for a more optimal experience moving forward. Thank you.
I've had two parcels broken within one week, one day damaged parcel claim is not reasonable as customers are busy / away and hence not able to report within one day.
Hi Em. Really sorry to hear about this experience and thanks for sharing this with us. Looks like our Cover Team is on the case for you and will assist you directly through email reference #3218124. Kindly refer to the email thread for updates on your case. Thank you for working this through with us.
I've used this service now several times and could not be happier with the cost and quickness of delivery. I've suggested this service to many and will continue to do so.
When I first reached out the customer service lady on chat said I would get a transcript of our chat. But I never did and the second person I chatted to over chat said that Sendle don't do transcripts. The issue I raised on Thursday STILL doesn't have an answer and it's ONE WEEK later.
When I signed up for a "pro" account, I was told I would have a dedicated account manager, however on I have been told by one of the people of the Chat, that Sendle don't have account managers. All a bit crap and customer service aren't trained very well
Really sorry to hear about this experience and thanks for raising this with us. This has been logged with the relevant teams as we try our best to ensure that we are taking steps in the right direction toward better overall support and courier performance. Really hope we can turn things around and provide you with a better experience next time.
Two times in a month my parcel as been broken and not be delivered.
They did not contact me to tell me that my parcel has not be delivered. This service is terrible.
Their deliver times are horrid, you "might" get your package within the time estimated or two weeks after it. But 99% of the time it will be weeks after the estimate.

My package finally turned up at my doorstep,
The weird thing is the package had stickers from couriers Please so I don't know what is going on but very happy that it arrived.

I arranged these guys to pickup a package from a address, the package is picked up but the next day received a message saying sorry your package didn't get picked up, then the next day I received a message saying that the package wasn't available for pick up.
After complaining and launching a investigation on their website I received a email saying they have no evidence of the package being picked up and they won't do any further. I said I want a refund for the delivery fee they said I am luck that I am not getting charged extra. These guys are a bunch of thieves.
You cannot even speak to anyone because there is no phone number.
Please do not use this company
First time I used sendle I received an email with an estimated time during the day of pick up which they then picked up. Excellent service
This time, no email and no pick up on the allocated day.
Hey Trevor! Thank you so much for your feedback. I'm glad to know that your first Sendle pick-up went smoothly and I truly apologize that on your latest order, the pick-up had been delayed.
As much as we would love for every order to be collected on time, just like your first order, I'm afraid that our drivers face uncontrollable factors that may cause these delays. Nevertheless, Sendle has a Pickup Guarantee [https://support.sendle.com/hc/en-au/articles/360001585231] which covers these situations. It basically means: we have a dedicated team who organise/reschedule for the driver to pick up the parcel on the next business day.
There's nothing more you need to do except to ensure that the parcel is ready for collection as normal - packaged, labeled, and available as per the pickup instructions.
We look forward to a smoother on-time pick-up on your next orders with us, Trevor!
Been with Sendle from their beginning, I avoid Aust Post as much as I can because Sendle are the best.
Convenient, value, reliable and fast frieght... All the good stuff.
Never have an issue, prices seem right, and packages make it on time.
Too bad the workers at USPS don't pay attention to my fragile stickers sometimes.
Great job Sendle!
Hey Dave, thanks for sharing this experience. We're happy to hear about this. :)
Had 2 ebay items to go overseas and added a 3rd item and after 4 days no pickup
Customer service kept saying tomorrow and after 2nd failure stopped replying
Found bosses Mobile number but he doesn't care and didn't bother to reply Shows what he's all about just doesn't care if you lose $1000 from your sales Another customer had his item thrown 20m away from his home and luckily he saw it or it would have cost me Absolute crap company when they can't even have a contact number This should be illegal
Booked a package Tuesday, Estimated Wednesday pick up, no show, got an email saying they rebooked for Thursday, Didnt change the status on my Sendle account saying it was estimated to be picked up Wednesday still, contacted by email (SINCE THEY HAVE NO PHONE NUMBER) been a few hours and still havent heard anything, currently 3:45, claimed they rebook the next day if not picked up by 4pm, im not holding my breath. Useless service, VERY bad for business (which I am) AVOID! Price is no substitute for this sort of service.
My heart sinks every time I see a company I have purchased from uses Sendle...and once again I am experiencing the nightmare that is a Sendle delivery. Firstly, the delivery lead times are ridiculous. 7 days to get a parcel from Katoomba to the Sydney CBD? I could walk up and back 3 times in 7 days. Secondly, their website tracking is useless. The only parcel tracking I had access to was "estimated delivery between the 2nd December and the 7th December". What? How is that meant to be helpful. Thirdly, no status change or updates at all during that delivery window...and no further communication on the progress of my delivery. Finally, once again, even with 7 days to get a parcel from Katoomba to Sydney CBD that was beyond Sendle and so 7 days later I am still waiting for my parcel...and have just been told that their internal review of my missing parcel report will take 5 days. What? Sendle is a complete and utter joke. Their website and logistics tracking feels like it is from the 1990s and their customer service is completely non-existent. If you are a business, please don't use them to send your products to your customers as it is a nightmare for us and will only damage your brand.
Answer: Impossible to get hold of customer service. No phone numbers and they don't respond to emails despite sending an automated response to say they will be in touch.
Answer: Absolutely not. Appalling. False information. I need my wheel battery, they repeatedly said it has not been picked up yet the shop who sent it says it was picked up 4 days ago. They have lied to me.
Answer: I used to use them because they were reliable. Now I wouldnt use them if they were the last courier company on the face of the Earth. Completely unreliable, unprofessional and dodgy.
Answer: I would look elsewhere. They started out good but niw measure boxes by volume which is very costly.
Sendle has a rating of 1.7 stars from 505 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with Sendle most frequently mention customer service, phone number and next day. Sendle ranks 385th among Shipping sites.
Thanks for your kind words, Rob! :)
