The overall reputation of the company reflects significant dissatisfaction among sellers, primarily due to inadequate customer support and a frustrating user experience. Common concerns include long response times, unresolved issues, and a lack of tailored assistance, leading many to consider leaving the platform. While some sellers acknowledge the potential for sales, the overwhelming sentiment is one of frustration with the outdated interface and poor communication. This feedback suggests a pressing need for improvements in support training and system functionality to enhance seller satisfaction and retention.

The worst service ever, they are very moody and non professional also i requested a phone call support and scheduled it and will be no body contacted,
My business has been literally ruined by Amazon customer service who has been letting customers run rampant with refund request and A-Z guarantees due to shipping delays during the pandemic. My account is in the negative because they are granting refunds even when confirmation has proven the customer received the package! Then there's the vultures that wait and submit claims the day after the Amazon deliver by date so they can get free stuff. I've also called Amazon Seller Support because they also sent messages to my customers telling them the package was lost even though tracking showed the package en-route and eventually delivered. This caused me to have to go through several email reassuring customers. I'm an Amazon customer and I didn't do this when my order was delayed, plus Amazon made sure to cover their butts by saying shipping is delayed due to the pandemic for their orders, but why don't I get the same courtesy? I guess we are NOT all in this together.
I have been trading my accessories business since 2011 and very proud of the products and services, unfortunately, the COVID 19 brought my business down so I thought that I will start selling from Amazon. I signed with Amazon end of May'20 and yet to uploads any products. They also made me to IAN numbers which cost me £183. Their help is pathetic and I will raise a dispute with my bank to get my money back.
I do not need Amazon anymore and be careful.
Been selling online for over 10 years.
Amazon will help scammer buyers to scam the sellers. 0% possibility of getting a human on the other line. They keep sending you scripted automated emails when you need support.
Amazon seller is a thief, mafia robbers.
You got this all wrong. Badly supported your sellers! ( We are also your customers, remember?)
I could not recommend Amazon Seller Central to anybody. Amazon side with the customer on every occasion. We've lost loads of money from customers claiming to have received faulty items. We've asked for photos of the item they have received and don't get any reply. We ask for the customer to send the item back so we can replace it (we send them a free returns label) and we don't hear from them again, but they have the item and an automatic refund from Amazon. Just try it yourself and you'll see what I mean. All you need to do is complain a few times to amazon and hey presto you get an automatic refund.
Lots of customers play the system. They complain to amazon and amazon refund them, no questions asked. And what about the item you have delivered to them, forget getting that back!
If you decide to sell on Amazon, just make sure you have another revenue stream, a few bad reviews (out of your control, i. E. courier delays, even worst when you are using Amazon own shipping service Prime!), can make you go over the threshold and become suspended.
BEWARE!
I am waiting for weeks now to sort out an error. Calling them is a wait of time as they are not able to help, they just pretend to help...
If you enjoy wasting your time talking to bots go ahead and good luck if (when?) you have a problem!
Ever since I made my Seller Central account I have been unable to access my account. I have sent over a dozen messages to seller support however, each time I am told that my computer is the issue or that the email I am using is not associated with a seller account, when I have verified that it is an issue from Amazon's side and I am 100% sure that the email I gave them is the one associated with my seller account. I am extremely disappointed, and do not know how not even one person from seller support has even attempted to help me fix my account. I even asked them to terminate my account which they refused to do! Meanwhile, my account is being charged when I cannot even access it! Not to mention, each time they give me a non-sense answer, they mark my case as resolved so I must start all over and send another help request. I am so desperate to fix this issue that I even email Jeff Bezos and contacted every source I can. On top of this, the amazon support line is not accepting calls right now due to Covid 19. This is ridiculous and I feel sorry for anyone who's sole source of income is selling on amazon, because if this happened to them they would be screwed. If I could I would give them 0 stars. Never have I received such bad service.
Totally upset here, taking way too freaking long to add a simple variation. Considering NOT even selling and leaving a horrible review. I've tried multiple times to get a call to be walked thru the process with no return email saying someon can walk me thru. Emails are NOT HELPING me get my products online. This is like the 20th time trying to get this listed correctly and amazon things sending emails will do the job... i call bull crap!
I'm available 24/7 to be called... and yet. No call, only stupid emails. Frustrated at this point, i'm wasting my time trying to sell on amazon and being charged to be on here when it is a ridiculous circle of roadblocks.
Amazon has been terrible to deal with I have been ringing & emailing for 4 months to get amazon to stop taking the monthly fee from my card... I finally had a reply saying they would stop it and refund for them tk only take it out again on the next month... so I'm still trying to get them to STOP TAKING MY MONEY. I would recommend for you to never give amazon your credit card details as they will take money and it's very very deficit to get them to stop..
I opened an account with Amazon with 2 years ago only to close it a week later as it was more hassle than it's worth. Still to this day I'm getting charged mthly fees! I have phoned Amazon every time to be told this would be fixed and I'll receive a reimbursement - let me tell you this never happens.
In the end I had to go to my bank. Cancel my card number that was linked with amazon so they could no longer take any money out and then lodge 2 years worth of disputes with my bank to get all the money back.
The bank even said they can't tell me the amount of people that have contacted them with disputes due to Amazon taking money from their accounts.
DISGUSTING COMPANY - Don't even go there!
15 emails and 10 calls later and amazon cannot solve this issue for me.
My mobile phone company accidentally disconnected my mobile number and I had to get a new number.
I am locked out of my seller account for a month now.
They keep sending me emails that do not help.
I cannot get the code to log in because it sends it to my old number and when I click " didn't receive otp " it then says to call me or text me, but that cant work cause they still have the wrong number in their system, then I get into customer service and it is impossible to correspond with them on the phone or emails, what kind of service is this?, I actually want to log into my account to cancel my credit card because they have taken unauthorised fees and cancel my product, this has been torturous on so many levels dealing with a incompetent company.
I tried setting up an individual account. During sign up I emailed Amazon to notify them that the website was not allowing me to sign up for an individual account. They stated in the email response (immediately-because it benefits the company) that I should continue to sign up for the professional seller account and they would reimburse me for my account charges. All I have to do is downgrade and ask them once downgraded.
If they tell you this, DO NOT SIGN UP OR GIVE THEM CREDIT CARD INFORMATION!
This is a scam.
Once you sign up, they deactivate your account, charge your credit card and because your account is deactivated, you cannot downgrade, so they cannot refund your money. (Great way for them to keep making money I guess.)
I called and managed to reach a person to talk to (after many emails to *******@amazon.ca going unanswered, I gave up on emailing because since they can't gain anything from answering this email as promptly as the last one, they don't answer right away- or at all so far).
Lady on the phone ( *******072) concluded she could not reactivate my account and kept stating "Rest assured they will answer you-there must be a lot of people having issues with their accounts..." So maybe fixing the problems might help?
She cannot reactivate my account, and theres NO ONE to call at Amazon that can reactivate on their system.
Just don't waste your time. It's not worth it. They have great marketing to draw you in and think its a good idea, but no service after that.
How Amazon are the giant they are is beyond me, they offer a truly disgusting service to sell through.
Because there is no service. You pay for the professinal seller account and your account doesn't get activated. Even if you have uploaded the correct files, the system gives you only automated answers. No way to resolve this issue with a human. Gave up.
I wanted to close my seller account under Homemade/Amazon. But before that I wanted to delete all info, all photos on my page. I ABSOLUTELY can't do it, because the button EDIT doesn't exist and anything you will erase impossible to save, because SAVE button gets pale and deactivated. So, after 2 days of useless talk with 5 employees, I closed my account any way, but I have no idea if Google search will show my info forever or not.
My advise - NEVER NEVER EVER open any Amazon Seller Account if you want to be healthy and happy.
I could not recommend Amazon Seller Central to anybody. I spent five months, paying seller fees, only to get the runaround by staff constantly. I have several pages of cases which were opened and closed during those five months. Persistently incorrect advice, conflicting advice, and incomprehensible advice is de rigueur. Staff do not help, they simply want to get rid of you as fast as possible. If you're thinking about selling on Amazon I would strongly advise to think about selling somewhere else.
My first foray into the mighty Amazon and without doubt the last time I will ever have any dealings with them, my account was suspended hours after opening and with nothing listed, took days to activate again. Sent products on a business seller account and started a launch campaign, they then decide to move my product elsewhere and mark my listing as available in May 2020! Nobody knows what is going on just the usual cut and paste drivel not even related to my question, every time you try to find out what the issue is you get the same cut and paste crap. Have always sold on Ebay without issue but thought (wrongly) that Amazon was going to be a superior platform, how wrong can you be, they don't give a toss and it's impossible to reach anyone with even half an idea of what's going on. Read the reviews (I didn't!) before trying them, they are the worst kind of crap.
This Company employs useless Customer Service and Performance Seller teams who don't bother to spend a minute on your questions, who just copy and paste the same answers. This platform is unethical and eventually other platforms will take over. As a seller on Amazon, they don't care about you, they are dictators. I believe this platform sooner or later should be sued so many times.
Answer: If I was you I will stop everythings involving with Amazon and find others platforms to sell my products. Usually it takes 2-3 weeks under reviews. In your case 46 days it means there is a probleme. But this is only the 1st problems tons will come, TONS.
Answer: Jeff@amazon.com I would complain to the AG for Washington and copy Customer service. Worst case (if you can) set up a new bank account. You will be extremely lucky if you get a real person to speak with you. Good luck.
