The overall reputation of the company reflects significant dissatisfaction among sellers, primarily due to inadequate customer support and a frustrating user experience. Common concerns include long response times, unresolved issues, and a lack of tailored assistance, leading many to consider leaving the platform. While some sellers acknowledge the potential for sales, the overwhelming sentiment is one of frustration with the outdated interface and poor communication. This feedback suggests a pressing need for improvements in support training and system functionality to enhance seller satisfaction and retention.

Such a disgusting platform for seller, only thing they want you to do is to list your product and start PPC so they can earn money from there, I have been requesting and calling them for some reason every time thye don't answer and my issue has been resolved from one month
This has been an excruciating process. So much so that I am considering shutting down our Seller Central Account. We have been setting up the account for the past month and have had over 30 interactions with their customer service team. Half of these required escalation, and the responses often consist of copy-pasted help articles rather than tailored solutions. Additionally, one-fourth of these issues have neither been escalated nor resolved because the representatives are extremely untrained and clueless about their own platform. For instance, I just spoke to an Account Health Specialist who couldn't locate the document sent through the SCP on the reactivation page. I am currently struggling with a glitch in the shipping template, and after speaking with three representatives and having this 'escalated,' I received a reply asking for more clarification on my inventory issue, which is unrelated. Finally, one-fourth of the issues have been resolved after multiple interactions.
It is extremely frustrating. As someone with dyslexia, I already find it challenging to complete very detailed submissions, like entering SKUs for approval. We have 50 SKUs, and most had to be entered three times through the platform due to glitches on their end—although one time was my own mistake. After these attempts failed, I had to redo everything four times through an Excel document ( The bane of my existence at times) Amazon should truly be embarrassed by their poor management of this platform. It operates like it's still in beta, despite being on the market for over a decade. Clearly, there is a lack of investment in training the team and maintaining high standards for business performance. Finally, you need to improve you communication with clients. To set there expectation in a concise manner opposed to just sending the to the learning center. Like why deactivate my account without telling me first. Customer service mention this is just a part of the process that is done for every account. SO CLARIFY THAT AHEAD OF TIME.
It's been over a month waiting for Amazon to pick up 3 boxes, despite contacting numerous times and wasting a lot of time chatting with Amazon agents, every time just gave me a case number but the job is not done yet!
The UI for Amazon seller accounts is outdated and not user friendly at all. Trying to navigate the dashboard is time consuming and finding what you need is almost impossible. The support is also terrible. Adding product to your inventory is a rough process. The website is full of glitches and bugs so you will have to contact support every time to troubleshoot issues. I suggest finding a different marketplace to sell your products on unless you want poor support and like browsing through an early 2000s UI layout full of glitches.
I have been a seller on Amazon for 20 years and their seller help is terrible. You create a case and provide all the detail and they respond with some boiler plate on an entirely different issue. Their associates do not read or understand what the seller is requesting that they need seller help. I have had at least 12 cases and everyone of them was ever resolved through their case review. I have about had it with them and believe it is time to close down my storefront and say good bye to the hassle of dealing with Amazon.
Every bad word in every language won't get close to how bad this is. Amazon Central and selling on Amazon in general is the worst experience in human history. They rob you and it's your fault for them robbing and stealing your money!
Created a seller account, which I was paying for, and partially completed the registration process. After some time, I returned to the account to complete the setup process and found it had been deactivated. I'm on hold again on my fifth call in the last month without resolution. Have been told the same thing 3 times: You'll get an email in 3 days with a link which will fix everything -- but it never comes!
Title: Extremely Disappointing Experience with Amazon Seller Accounts
Review:
I recently attempted to set up an Amazon seller account and was thoroughly disappointed with the entire process. Firstly, the setup process was incredibly convoluted and time-consuming, far from what you would expect from a platform of Amazon's caliber. Navigating through the system, especially the 'Add a Product' page, was a nightmare - it's shockingly unintuitive and user-unfriendly.
To make matters worse, I was charged £30 before my account was even approved. What's more frustrating is the lack of response from Amazon regarding this issue, despite multiple attempts to communicate with them.
Having now looked at other reviews, I see this is a common problem, with most users giving the minimum star rating across various platforms. I regret not checking these reviews earlier. My advice to anyone considering opening a seller account on Amazon: proceed with caution and be prepared for a challenging and potentially unsatisfying experience. That's the polite way of saying dont bother.
Received one product expiration date complaint from one customer where the gummy product has good expiry of 110 days. Amazon threatens to take down our listings and our 8 year old seller account.
We are the small business manufacturer with FDA inspected and quality certifications from NSF, ISO and BRCGS.
Any appeal you send comes back with the same cookie cutter response.
Horrible big brother attitude. They are a MONOPOLY. I really wish the FTC takes them down.
I want to state upfront that Amazon prides itself on being consumer-centric so sellers by default will always get shafted big time. Here are some of the problems that I face as a seller: 1. A negative review from a buyer might be false but it is virtually impossible to get a negative review removed. This of course can have a serious impact on your revenue streams; 2. Amazon may disallow you from listing an item if the price you set is too high, even if the price you set is fair and competitive; 3. You are not allowed to sell many items due to them being copyrighted; 4. You don't get paid for 3 weeks; 5. The fees that Amazon take are very high; 6. You are penalised if you don't send your orders Tracked, even though the value of what you are sending may be so low that it simply isn't worth the extra cost of Tracking; 7. Amazon are very intrusive and bother sellers all the time with emails about new rules and regulations about selling that create anxiety for the seller; 8. Dispatch times are sometimes just a day; 9. Your dashboard is cluttered and even changing your address can be very confusing; 10. Many listings at Amazon are incorrect and give the wrong product information, which means that the seller can sometimes list a product incorrectly. My advice is tread cautiously before you decide to sell on Amazon. I have found that selling on Ebay works much better for me as I have more control over my listings and Ebay are far less intrusive.
It is the worst platform ever, with poor communications. Scammers keep the money for months and months as an interest-free loan, claiming you have validation to the policy; which policy are you talking about? I could never find a natural person to talk to and resolve an issue. I wish the TikTok seller center platform would wipe them off forever. Ultimately, what can we expect from the CFO when he looks like a caw?
Seller support gave misinformation that in case of return, the seller would get the goods back or automatically paid back for that within 50 days. Then advised to file SAFE-T claim which was 'denied'. It seemed a formality and amazon does not care for the sellers. REALLY DISAPPOINTED. Will never recommend anyone to go for selling on amazon.
Amazon Seller Central has completely collapsed.
Perhaps because Amazon's CEO ran away, Amazon's seller support has become a place of bullying that is worse than nothing.
I don't think Amazon employees are living humans, and I'm not sure if they are. I think it might be AI because it just copies and pastes the same text.
Even if a problem actually arises, you cannot receive any specific information, and of course you cannot receive help to solve it. All you see is endless copy and pasted text.
If actual employees are just pasting text without any help or efficiency, it means that no one has the knowledge, ability, or authority to help.
Even if you call Amazon support, you will only end up listening to Indian and Pakistani employees who have no knowledge or authority.
Or, if they do it even though they have knowledge, ability, and authority, it may be intentional bullying and they just enjoy harassing customers.
Instead of solving the problem, the lack of information and communication leads to more problems and creates a disaster-like situation.
Thanks to this, I suffered a huge loss, but I feel fortunate that the problem occurred before I suffered a fatal loss.
On 99% of occasions I've received persistently incorrect advice, conflicting advice, and mostly incomprehensible advice. Staff on most occasions do not want to help, they simply want to get rid of you as fast as possible. I would not recommend selling on amazon due to their terrible support.
Trying to delete your seller account is incredibly difficult for no reason with horrible customer support.
My account got shut down because of some IP problems, and let me tell you, I've been banging my head against the wall trying to sort it out with Amazon. Seriously, it's beyond frustrating how they seem to be MIA when you need help the most. To all you sellers out there dealing with the nightmare of account deactivation, do yourself a favor and skip the endless appeals. Just go straight to a specialist who knows the ins and outs. I personally used Reinstate Amz
I have been trying to get a hold of anyone to assist me in a matter regarding my account closure and to get a refund as I have never used the services for amazon seller central… They are unreachable! Almost like they don't exist… If I actually was a seller on amazon, I would feel extremely lonely and unassisted. This is no way to treat clients, it's outrageous.
Don't bother, use eBay or another platform, these people are quite nasty and deceitful, they have removed all telephone contact and will take 24 hours to reply to an email and will only reply with the same standard reply over and over again literally for weeks on end giving you no help whatsoever, I think the idea is that you will just go away they don't give a sh@t about their sellers, obviously they are to powerful to care and seem to take great please in ignoring you, probably run by ex twitter employees and I hope bozos yacht sinks!
Joined Amazon Seller to try to earn some extra money. It turned out to be a nightmare. Not only did I barely sell anything, Amazon kept 85% of whatever I made in fees and then charged me $1,500 when I asked to return all of my products to me and close my seller account after only 3 months. Horrible experience.
Worst experience of my life on the internet! When I tried to sell two books of mine, I began to get a constant bombardment of automatically generated messages telling me there was something wrong with the listing, along the lines of "you have incorrectly selected the individual legal entity during registration of your Amazon seller account". In the end, my account was "suspended". But all efforts to have it restored meet a black wall. Basically, this is a service run out of some sweat shop in India and SHOULD BE AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS
Answer: If I was you I will stop everythings involving with Amazon and find others platforms to sell my products. Usually it takes 2-3 weeks under reviews. In your case 46 days it means there is a probleme. But this is only the 1st problems tons will come, TONS.
Answer: Jeff@amazon.com I would complain to the AG for Washington and copy Customer service. Worst case (if you can) set up a new bank account. You will be extremely lucky if you get a real person to speak with you. Good luck.
