I can't access the portal because they used a number to authenticate that I haven't had in ten years. I tried to remove myself but there is no way to contact them except in the portal. They are horrible and for four months I have tried unsuccessfully to get out of the charges and the plan. I haven't been able to sell or post even one item and I've been charged five times.

We've had a TERRIBLE experience with seller central. The platform is extremely un-user friendly and they go out their way to make the system convoluted to use. We have had major log in issues with accounts and passwords becoming tangled with little support and hours wasted on the phone to amazon with no result. All the time whilst not being able to access the account, we racked up fines which Amazon has had no problem taking directly from our bank account. Our products have become 'unlisted' or 'stranded' for no apparent reason with no communication. Our products we send to Amazon leave our warehouse in full box quantities but mysteriously arrive at the amazon warehouses with less units - which off course we then get fined for. We've now been charged extortionate storage fees which again is not communicated clearly. Total disaster. How do the get away with this?!

My business has been literally ruined by Amazon customer service who has been letting customers run rampant with refund request and A-Z guarantees due to shipping delays during the pandemic. My account is in the negative because they are granting refunds even when confirmation has proven the customer received the package! Then there's the vultures that wait and submit claims the day after the Amazon deliver by date so they can get free stuff. I've also called Amazon Seller Support because they also sent messages to my customers telling them the package was lost even though tracking showed the package en-route and eventually delivered. This caused me to have to go through several email reassuring customers. I'm an Amazon customer and I didn't do this when my order was delayed, plus Amazon made sure to cover their butts by saying shipping is delayed due to the pandemic for their orders, but why don't I get the same courtesy? I guess we are NOT all in this together.

For three days I have been trying to list an item for sale through amazon seller central. Online instructions do not work. Begging for help -- phone call -- ignored. The data I post (inventory, pricing) later shows up totally incorrect. Site continues to state that my product is unavailable.
This has been the absolute, by far, worst online experience I have ever had and has completely changed my view of Amazon. I have been a very good, loyal customer for many years. Not sure that will continue!
I am amazed by this shocking lack of customer service.

Stick to eBay

Absolute joke of a company. Started selling on Amazon in Jan 2023. Waste of time, 9/10 items get returned without any message from the customer. In most case you never see the item again. One even opened a case before it was posted so you know it a lie. EBay let's you talk to the customer. I've sold on their platform for years and I would say that less than 1/100 gets returned. The sooner the account gets shut down the better.

We have sold on Amazon in the past and are trying to cancel our account. I had to cancel my credit card on file because of unauthorized charges by AMS. I tried contacting them but got no where. Now they won't let me close my account without updating my credit card. This has been going in circles for 4 months. I've tried several times to get a person on the phone with no success. Emails from them are all from NO REPLY accounts. It has been insane trying to get this matter cleared up. I get calls regularly from another part of Amazon but unfortunately the two departments can't communicate.

No phone number. On line reps who clearly do not speak English. I have been asking them the same question for 6 months now. I still have no answer. We shipped 5 items, didn't get paid. They deduct and deduct and deduct until you get nothing. There "help" system is a total disaster. Don't go there.

Nonexistent customer service! They charged my bank and am not able to contact anyone to give me a refund! Called Amazon's phone number and they have no idea what they are doing. No live person at seller central! Huge mistake getting involved with them!

This Company employs useless Customer Service and Performance Seller teams who don't bother to spend a minute on your questions, who just copy and paste the same answers. This platform is unethical and eventually other platforms will take over. As a seller on Amazon, they don't care about you, they are dictators. I believe this platform sooner or later should be sued so many times.

A rip off

Just shut down my store due to lack of help and a lot of fees. I lost $8000 within the past 2 years since opening an account. Amazon kept charging for storage fees and long storage fees and in the mean time, their stupid regulations did not let me to reduce the price the sell the items. For the items sold, there were many refunds to the buyers with no reason, and dumping the item. It would be good for the established sellers in Amazon who started in previous years, but anyone who starts new would loose money definitely.

I actually lost money
December 10, 2021

I signed up for Amazon to be a seller. For a very short time only about four months I didn't list a lot of items because I want to test the waters during that four month period my total sales were about $1250. What I actually made was about $217 after fees shipping and everything else I made about $215. Keep in mind that I had to buy that merchandise so probably 500 of that was what I paid for it. Just not worth it I'm glad I got out early. Also they basically want you to practically give your stuff away in order to have any kind of chance of selling anything on there site.

Still no one helps. I've spoken to managers countless times. They told me on the phone that I pretty much have no hope since I'm a seller and they rarely see sellers get their item back or get refunded. They know it's fraudulent. They helped a buyer steal from me! They understand my case (buyer said item was working fine on messages and still wanted refunded, they refunded him before the 3 days was up which I should have been able to refuse refund) but they say seller support has no way to refund me. Better off with Ebay for selling- much, much more organized and you can speak to support who can actually take care of the issue. You will waste much more of your time using amazon seller.

Horrible service. I was a seller. A working item was purchased by a buyer. The buyer wanted to return the item even though he said it was working fine. Amazon charged my credit card without me knowing to refund the buyer and the buyer never sent the item back to me. I now don't have the item and I got charged to send it to him! Dysfunctional. Don't use Amazon!

Amazon Seller Center is unstable system full of technical issues and defects. Duplicate functions and entry points causes data corruption to the products and listing, and when you contact the support, they reply with standard reply and not even try to investigate the issue or escalate it to IT support. Furthermore, they wont admit it's a system mistake in order not to create any liabilities on Amazon.
Issues are never resolved with Amazon Seller Central, and it's very hard to find some one who is willing to help. I have had a case, which took more than 50 back and forth, and 90% were repeating the same thing. They work like dumb robots and all what they care about is to close the case on time and meet their personal SLAs. They give you a chance of rating the response, but thats just a technique to absorb the customer frustration, as no one actions on them.

Very bad, it's been a month since I am waiting for them to "activate" my account after it was already activated a few months ago, sales were active on the account, and overnight all of a sudden they deemed my account inactive for no apparent reason. The call center is so poorly equipped... I mean there is no knowledge of ANYTHING, there are very long wait times, very polite people in order to keep you on the low level of "frustrated", however nothing ever comes out of it. No solution, only bs explanations to get you off the phone. THey are tired of complaints and want to get rid of you fast. Horrible, I have no words to describe the Amazon Seller experience I had. 0 stars. There is no option though, so I gave them 1. That is generous. What type of management allows such inefficiency, lack of knowledge and responsibility?

For one their fees are horrendous! It's $39 a month just to sell, then that doesn't include the high fees they charge for selling an item. The market is so saturated that it's hard for a new brand to get started. I had them send me my inventory back so I could start selling on Etsy and they damaged 170 units and I'm in the process of trying to get reimbursed but they are very difficult to work with and could really care less about your business. They are reckless with the inventory you send in, they throw it around and don't care if it gets damaged. Seller central back door is a s*it show too! It's so complicated, they have so many "rules" that change often and you never know when your account could be suspended for any one of their violations. I'm so happy I will not be giving Amazon a dime more!

We started selling a month ago. Some customers are exploiting the way that the system works. Amazon is unresponsive, automatically accepts claims without any explanation. Takes out your money from your bank account randomly. There are random charges on your bank account every day. It's ridiculous.

I was surprised at how incompetent amazon is at something as simple as allowing a seller to offer their products on amazon.com. They are utterly unresponsive and will routinely hold your funds for 60+ days while they try to determine if you are a "fraudulent" seller! It really seemed like I was being punished for selling my products on their site too quickly (there was an existing marketplace on yahoo stores). Their 15% fee is very steep, and I had to eliminate certain product lines in order to profit selling on amazon.com.

You can spend hours on the phone and nothing every gets resolved. They also operate off your money for days, weeks and months... nothing like getting a free business loan from you and it is forced upon you... It is said that they steal 40 million every 90 days. This company needs a federal investigation started as they seem to operate under their own rules with no regulation... Wonder why they are getting so big so fast, and buying companies up... because they are stealing from you and I. Do business with this company at your own risk.

I have been selling on amazon as a side hustle for my telecom business.
Amazon is customer oriented and than mean they treat businesses as if they don't have a say. There is absolutely -0- support from them if it comes to customers buying "by mistake" or leaving review literally because they had no clue what they bought or how make it work. I am going to cancel my account with them pretty soon. They are damaging my business.

The worst service you can receive from any company. You will never be able to speak with a supervisor. All their agents are overseas. When you goods are damage are missing you are on your own. The will put you on hold giving them time to document them just hand up. I few minutes later you will get an email that you can't respond to. This will go on for month as in my situation. They even refuse to send my products back to me as I am Requesting.
