For several weeks the system kept responding with page not found error messages and it was never clear that the process had actually worked or completed. It finally worked after several weeks as I was getting ready to try to make an in-person appointment with the agency for which the identification process was required.
Even though I've used it before you would think that I have never used it at all because it took so long and it was so complicated it took way longer to do this and I did complete my actual task once I got it started so this is a ridiculous process And very time-consuming

Took me several attempts to finally get all the data needed. I think the process could be made simpler.
Long wait time to get verified. Clunky operation at times. Got an error message after it said that I was verified. Had to relog in to get the site I wanted.
The process was rather quick. I took pictures of the front & back of government issued Driver's license then it took a video selfie to verify that the person uploading the documents was the person whom they belonged.
Tried numberous time to create an account. Had to go to a hospital employee for help. They in turn had to call for help. Message kept reading error. Way too many verification codes. Not user friendly.
They now make you upload your id and selfie plus a bunch more steps to sign in. If you work on a computer for a living it will still take about 10 minutes. And the instructions suck. I can understand with all the internet crime so why not use mail or phone again or figure something else out!
I am trying to create my ID.me account to use IRS services. The system is telling me I already have an account under the some redacted email account. That is not my email address, and I have never created an account with ID.me before. They don't fix the problem, they let the fraud continue and just close all my requests.

If you are struggling start with the chat robot and it will lead you to a video call with a live person who will get your issue resolved
