The process of being permitted to enroll was very efficient, with a live video call to prove who I am, including verification of id paperwork. I feel extremely safe and confident in using ID.me.
Do not give over your biometrics to this company. Give up your license before allowing them to collect this intimate information. It is not worth it in the long run.
