My main concern was getting my ID photograph. I'm driver license into the system. At the verifying my information I realize my phone number was incorrect. I tried several times but the system did not take my phone number. Kind of strange. They sent me messages on my phone, but it did not correct my home address phone, which is my cell phone bottom line satisfied I realize everybody got a job to do and I'm just hoping that we work together thanks. Great job.

I tried to complete id me with verfication from my flip phone. Could not get my copy of dl to source, would not accept it, so i used a family members smart phone to complete the process. I can use my flip phone to receive the 6 digit phone code with no problem though. After the verification process was complete, i have no problem with getting into the irs and checking messages...

I first tried ID.me several years ago. I could not get an answer of why my documents didn't work or why they could not verify who I was. I had to return to ID.me to complete a government ID. It took over an hour to just chat with a person and get some help. It then took another half hour to get completed. This is a sad situation when an organization like this can capture your needs to make a living and be so inept when things go wrong.
Neutral experience didn't like it or dislike it. It just had a lot of steps to get into the system so you can access the information that you're looking for.
I had difficulty verifying my ID through ID Me. It took me several tries before I could finally get my ID verified. I received confusing reasons as to the reasons why my ID was not identified. One of the most confusing was that ID Me simply didn't have my personal information in their records - which could not have been true since I had created an account with my accurate personal information. Also, I had a lot of difficulty with the selfie photo because the software program ID Me uses creates a confusing array of graphics which caused me to be unable to accurately focus my cell phone camera. I would advise anyone to use extreme caution when trying to get their ID verified with ID Me. I would tell others to expect multiple failed attempts, which could be frustrating and even prevent them from accessing vital and important information they might need in order to be able to apply for other benefits.
You must be sure to have your grandkids to help you since you will need to know how to do multiple things and download pictures and send and then also deal with what they want on your computer. My grandkid got a little frustrated too with the ordeal.
It was super easy to make an account and I love all the different security options there are and I like how it shows which ones were more secure than the others. I would definitely recommend my friends and family to use ID.me
System is not user friendly with lots of effort required with tech support to complete simple tasks. Need to start over and engage with a professional usability lab with different types of mobile phones. Until then, it will be a bad experience for anyone that has a secure/safe device.
The site is very "User Friendly"with simple directions to follow. Once verified, I can use it to log in other sites without having to go through a process again to get full verification.
I wish I had known about this service a year ago, it helped me accomplish something that I just couldn't figure out on my own, I'm not very tech savvy. 😸
