Don't Do It

Signed up for professional account for $39.99/month. Paid over $1k for my product to be delivered to their warehouses, paid for a barcode, logo, professional email and website. I was ready. They nickel and dime you to death with fees on each product you sell in addition to the $39.99 monthly to the point where you're paying them for the product and giving it to them for free and then some. My card was charged $54 one month, $62 the next month then $74 the next month and now I have an upcoming charge for $84! Plus the $39.99 monthly fee with no explanation from customer service. She just kept saying it was for "fees." Mind you my product was only $16.99 and over $7 was deducted from each product sale for fees. Take into account what I spent for the product and yep that's a negative. I was only selling 4-7 items a month as a new seller so yeah I ended up paying them way more than I made. AND had to pay $0.50 per item to have my products sent back to me and cancel the listing. Complete disappointment. Not to mention I'm a huge Amazon shopper myself, also paying monthly for a "Prime Membership." This whole experience makes me want to cancel that too and never shop with them again. They are money hungry and do not care if they bankrupt you as long as they can charge your card whatever they want whenever they feel like it.

Disgusting service no real answers and they lie with empty promises just to get you off the phone but never do what they say they will do I could go on forever about how bad they are but I don't have the time and there's probably not enough room to type it all down ".

I thought I was the only one, now I'm not surprised.
It's crazy, what I went through to verify my identity, I had to send all the identity documents I had, until I can finish the registration. But it did not end there, as soon as they checked the account and they charged me $ 39.99 of my credit card, blocked my account, asked for a series of documents, I did not quite understand what kind of documents they were, I asked for clarification, and the ones that have been ignored, all the emails I've sent to the central seller have been ignored, it's frustrating, there's no respect for the sellers, now I'm trying to get my money back and cancel the account.

I was approved for a "handmade" seller account. They charged my card. $39.99. Then suspended the account the same day. They requested a copy of a utility bill. I attached it. Then they denied because they said I didn't include all the pages. I resent it. I received an email saying I cannot sell on Amazon. Then I wanted my money back and the customer service person shared a screenshot of the charge and said if you look my account I can see that the card wasn't charged. The screenshot shows I was CHARGED! I am positive Amazon Sellllers I have had nothing but problems. I cannot even find a phone number to call and because my account has been suspended I can only email Amazon regarding that issue. SAVE YOURSELF STAY AWAY FROM SELLING ON AMAZON

I HAVE BEEN SELLING AT AMAZON FOR OVER 3 YEARS. I NOTICED THAT THEY STARTED SELLING THE SAME ITEMS I HAD. THEN THEY WOULD DROP THE PRICES LOWER THAN MY PRICES.
TO MAKE IT EVEN WORSE THEY COPIED ALL MY PICTURES, MY OWN WORDING FROM MY MERCHANDISE AND NOW THEY HAVE BLOCKED MY MERCHANDISE WITH NO EXPLANATION! THIEVES THAT'S WHAT THEY ARE! DO NOT SELL HERE. THEY TAKE POSSESSION OF YOUR MERCHANDISE AND TAKE OVER EVERYTHING YOU HAVE ACCOMPLISHED!

What a Scam. This company is all about them and nothing else. I open an account to sell my Gourmet Salsas, i less that a week I had opened 6t Cases complaining about their system, I asked for help to upload my inventory from my website and they never gave me an answer. I canceled my account today! I will never do business with Amazon!

I don't know where to start. Somehow when I make a new ticket, they answer me right away. But I have outstanding tickets I'm waiting to be resolved for 2 weeks plus. The site is so unintuitive. Sometimes the help pages lead to broken links. Even when I go to contact Amazon, there's a glitch on the site and it doesn't actually let me start a new ticket. Instead I have to go to one of my closed tickets and reopen it. Everything is so confusing and there is little support. I went to sent a shipment to Amazon and it blocked me from proceeding and I have no clue why. It asks me to check off that I have labeled my products with expiry dates. I check it off but still doesn't let me proceed. Amazon has too too many little annoying rules to follow and nothing is transparent. Getting fed up.

Won't refund my money

I've talked to several different employees and they all say they have "calenceled" my account, but yet I've still been charged the past three months. When I still try to call and resolve, they say, "let me check the details and call you back", then they never call me back. Or they say, "let me send you a link to contact someone else who can help." What?! Can anyone I mean anyone just get my account cancelled and stop charging me $40 a month?!?

Their back end and in particular service on the seller side is slow and mostly always useless, Amazon Knows they have the consumers and they will always get sellers no matter how crappy they service sellers so they put the least effort into that side of the marketplace on purpose its a strategy. I'm just going to sell everything on my own Shopify Store.

Unable to download an inventory list. Amazon Central seller is useless.
They asked me for a credit card to review my list cause they had to check my identity. They charged 3 purchases on GAMEFLP for 99.18 each and Best Buy for $100.00.

Still no one helps. I've spoken to managers countless times. They told me on the phone that I pretty much have no hope since I'm a seller and they rarely see sellers get their item back or get refunded. They know it's fraudulent. They helped a buyer steal from me! They understand my case (buyer said item was working fine on messages and still wanted refunded, they refunded him before the 3 days was up which I should have been able to refuse refund) but they say seller support has no way to refund me. Better off with Ebay for selling- much, much more organized and you can speak to support who can actually take care of the issue. You will waste much more of your time using amazon seller.

Horrible service. I was a seller. A working item was purchased by a buyer. The buyer wanted to return the item even though he said it was working fine. Amazon charged my credit card without me knowing to refund the buyer and the buyer never sent the item back to me. I now don't have the item and I got charged to send it to him! Dysfunctional. Don't use Amazon!

Really Sad and Frustraiting

They earn such money from us but give nothing in exchange. Customer Service is totally useless. They do not solve any problems at all just keep getting the same message over and over again. My two bestselling products were blocked for no reason and there is no way to solve it. Grrrrrrrrrr

If you could choose zero stars, I would!

Cancelled my account same day I signed up and have yet to get the $39.99 refund. Called at least 10 times. Finally said they would mail a paper check, then got an e-mail wanting my bank account info and if I had questions to respond to e-mail, even though at the bottom of the e-mail, it says "notification only address and do not reply". Then yet another e-mail saying my case was closed since they didn't hear from me!

Nobody seems to know what they are doing and keep getting bounced around.

Amazon hurts sellers

I have been selling on Amazon for over 10 years as 3 different sellers. Amazon has diligently caused negative points to be placed on my seller metrics, allow buyers to commit fraud against sellers, and their functions constantly change without integration.

They are extremely egregious to sellers: Sellers beware.

As usual done with many sellers. They suspend the account with just one fraud complain without verify from the coustomer end. Gave them all the proof which they ask to give. Still they suspended account. Flipkart is much better in all respect.

What a nightmare it's been trying to get "verified" for a seller account... LLC, business bank account, etc... and just a bunch of idiots that automatically suspend your account without an explanation. This is by far the worse customer experience I've ever seen and I worked in the industry. I had manufacturers lined up and just couldn't get though to anyone who could fix the issue. Closed my consumer account as well and will never use Amazon again... not it that it matters right...? I'm just glad I didn't have more skin in the game as the stories on here and other sites are unbelievable and worse then my experience. Unfortunately the company has quickly destroyed smaller shops and other shopping options in lieu of a cheaper price. I'm looking forward to the day Amazon stock crashes, they get investigated and regulated by the government, and an alternative shopping/selling site starts to get traction.
