Amazon is the worst sellers platform ever! They require you to register as self-employed in order to set up a business account with them. I started selling with them in March and for a couple of months everything went ok, but then I got an inauthentic item claim, and my account was suspended in June! I then made an appeal and by the end on June my account was reinstated for a day. Then the next day they blocked my account again because I didn't have a VAT number! But I didn't make money above the threshold to apply for VAT, but apparently you still have to apply for it if you sell online even if you make very little or no money. I then applied for VAT, and now Amazon have given me another excuse that they cannot unblock my account because my VAT is invalid! But it isn't invalid, and it was given to my by HMRC. Amazon is a joke. I haven't been able to sell on Amazon for three months! I wish I could give them zero stars because they are terrible! I have lost so much money using Amazon. Amazon is terrible for sellers, and they treat their sellers horrifically!
I have been trying to get my Amazon Seller Central account verified. It has just been a whole lot of time wasted with phone calls, emails, sending in documents - and getting no response. They keep telling me they will fix things with 24-48 hours, but in reality they do nothing.
I cant tell you how many times the company I work for has contacted seller central Amazon, and never got a response, after being on the phone for hours. After each phone call they tell us they opened a case and it will be answered within a couple days. Today is now the 15th of August, AMAZON OPENED this case on JUNE 25TH and I am still waiting on an answer. They never seem interested in protecting our trademarked brand. Thats not all... Listings get taken down for no reason, working with Amazon is impossible and THEY ARE TELLING ME I NEED TO DELETE ALL MY PRODUCTS AND LOSE YEARS OF SALES DATA TO CHANGE THE BRAND NAME OF MY PRODUCTS. This is crazy, and unacceptable.
A week ago another seller hijacked my private branded listing. Which is brand enrolled so this shouldn't of been able to happen. They managed to sell 100's of faulty counterfeit products in this time and even tho i notified amazon with Photo evidence through many different channels they took absolutely no action to remove this seller.
It get worse- after this seller had ran out of stock and disappeared amazon suspended my listing and i havant been able to sell for a week now. The only response i seem to get is that its been passed to an isolated specialist team that cannot be contacted and they will update me when they have information. This makes me feel extremely uneasy about dealing with seller support because more often than not they make the problem even worse and then penalise the seller for it. Is there not anyone in amazon who isnt an empty robot who has some common sense i can deal with?
There is not job any job offer. After 6-month i had one job. And after get the job done i had to spend 3 days to tell the amazon that job is completed, so they can pay me.
The selfie part of the APP is sucks and never worked. The customer service is sucks too. Despite they know that it is the APP problem, but they ask you to contact the customer and get the conformation and if customer for any reasons does not reply, so good for amazon,,, they don't pay you...

It has been over 2 months in which I have been waiting for a Hazmat review.
I seem to be repeating the same loop over and over which is; The FBA team keeps emailing me to provide my sds form - this has been provided over 10 times already. Each time I call to query why this 4 day process has taken so long they apologise and promise a call back - which never happens. Only for me to receive another email again asking for my sds form. This has been going on over 2 months and it slowing down my aim for business with Amazon.
Why are cases such as these not escalated, provided a complaints option or resolved?
How can I get past this stage and complete the process so that I can send my products into Amazon for the FBA option i am trying to get to?
Because Amazon gets in the middle of all correspondence trying to communicate with a buyer is very difficult. Amazon refunded our customer with absolutely no regard for our side of the story. Frustrated is an understatement. We have cancelled our seller account because selling on Amazon does not make you money... you loose money selling on Amazon because of all their rules and fees.
It is been 1 month now trying to get a payment for 119.97 $
They told me to add a checking so they can do the refound and they payments will be processed 3-5 business days. After 2 weeks they send me an email saying I need to make an update to credit card information! I said so why did you ask me to upload checking account information? They said because the other worker didn't know better. Then this worker said we will issue a manual check and it will be to your house in 3-5 business days. A day after I get an email saying that your credit card information needs to be updated. I called again, I asked what is going on? I was promised fro manual check! They said sorry that takes up to 90 days and the previous worker didn't know better! So I need to add a new credit card! I did, they didn't accept my credit card! They went back to charging my AMEX card! It didn't work out again! But before they had no problem to take money from that card. Now since they have to refund money it became a problem. I called again and asked them to try to charge my card and they refused. They said we will try that after 24 hours. It is been more than a month now I had over 10 hours of phones calls and emails going back and forth and I still can not get my money. Whoever is reading this review please do not open a Seller account, Even if you sell anything it will take months maybe years until you will see your money. I will also upload all the youtube phone calls I had with this people and you can listen to how they treat people. I promised them I will make this go viral because in my life no one has ever pissed me off more than this people. For 119.97 $ I got the biggest stress and headache in my life and the problem it is not resolved yet. Most of the customer service agents don't even know how to speak English. I have never been serviced like this before and I hope I will never have to deal with this anymore. I really hope someone in HIgh position reads this review and understand what a $#*!ty job his company is doing. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND TRYING TO GIVE PEOPLE HARD TIME SO THEY CAN GIVE UP ON MONEY AND KEEP IT FOR THEMSELVES
They are clearly Buyer centric platform not at all support seller even when the buyer is at fault.
Its like if buyer claim A-Z, they will refund the money without even going to depth of problem & without asking for any proof.

I am so glad I don't use seller central any more. I persevered for 2 years during which time amazon seller central never ceased to annoy me. How they make amazon so easy to use as a consumer, but so difficult as a seller is beyond me.
I reported a copyright infringement, Amazon removed my shirt instead which was selling 215 per week, and left the theifs artwork up. I reported this over and over, to different emails and I go no response unless it was useless from a no reply email. Amazon steal your money, uploading listing is a disgusting experience and they are useless for customer experience. Im on hold to them now as im typing this, 34 mins so far. And I know they wont resolve my issue either.
I have just signed up for a seller account on amazon. When creating the account they just ask you some questions like how many products you want to upload to the store and what kind etc. There's NO option for me to choose. Then suddenly i have already being charged $39.99 for professional seller.
Then i was told i have to add a new card cause they don't take prepaid card like Payoneer and RIGHT AFTER i added the new card, my account was suspended due to the fact they need more information like my utility bill.
I have found out the charge is not what im aware of and decide to downgrade to individual seller. However all they getting back at me is the suspension issue.
I have called their hotline for assistance and after got me on hold for 30 minutes. The guy still COULD NOT have the option to help me with the refund. Then I haven't heard back from them ever since.

We started selling a month ago. Some customers are exploiting the way that the system works. Amazon is unresponsive, automatically accepts claims without any explanation. Takes out your money from your bank account randomly. There are random charges on your bank account every day. It's ridiculous.

I used eBay and was Charge $92 dollars just to list items in a months time. I only sold 1 thing on there which was shoes for $30. The I pay Shopify $40 a month to use there site so its no profit. We need a new Amazon this bezos Guy is clearer a greedy pig
I found it too difficult to add postal service and delivery charge to the items Iisted on Amazon.It is too confusing. EBay is much better, easy and pleasant experience for sellers to add new products. Also, the document approval process is too long and complicated. The charge for selling products on Amazon is ridiculously high comparing to Ebay. So, I have just cancelled my Amazon seller account and decided to stay with Ebay.
I am currently a law student, and I wanted to sell my text books back on amazon, yet to set up a seller's account is like pulling teeth and after going through everything and waiting a day for the set up to be verified, they notified me they need a credit card with a line of credit in order to verify my account. Now why would a company need my credit card (which I don't have) to sell stuff on amazon. This is ridiculous. I'll sell on ebay.
I have been selling on Amazon for 4 years now. It has gone downhill each year more and more. CSRs are zero help and are not trained properly. Polices encourage fraud and they do not care at all about their sellers. I have had some cases opened for 4-5 months before a resolution was made. Sellers make up a huge portion of their revenue, you would think they would treat sellers better.
I remember making a seller account many many years ago. Everything is more expensive now. A fee on the price of the item on top of a fee for just using the site. 2 cuts, double dipping. They get to do it and the government doesn't allow double dipping on public service work.
Then, I sold 1 item on Amazon, and they only gave me the next 3 or less days to mail off my book. For someone who works the weekday, that's tough.
Then, my media mail didn't send all the way to the person and the person complained, wouldn't take any compromise with what I offered to do, and just submitted a AZ complaint right away (less than 1 hour later) which I had to comply by or really never use amazon again. And if the lost media mail USPS lost was found? It would be sent right to the bastard who filed the complaint. A $100 dollar book and the refund. He buys the book, keeps $100 and gets a free $100 book. And Amazon keeps the $3-4 cut from me for just using the site, and it costs me a $100 book and $3-4 dollars. How is that fair?

Since the media mail is now under investigation, if found, I rerouted the package to come back to me at the cost of $25, not $12! And people have said it has a 50% success rate. I don't want the bastard customer in question to get the return and keep the product too, so this is my only recourse.

Answer: If I was you I will stop everythings involving with Amazon and find others platforms to sell my products. Usually it takes 2-3 weeks under reviews. In your case 46 days it means there is a probleme. But this is only the 1st problems tons will come, TONS.
