Like the rest of the people below, the goods were never delivered even though SavvyBuy guaranteed it would deliver them before Christmas. Then, on 27 Dec, it offered a refund, which I accepted, but this has still not been credited, despite its 24 hr promise. Judging by the posts below, I wonder if this company should be investigated by the online fraud squad?
I ordered Fitbit charge 2 for my daughter on 01 December same as other people on here, this has still not arrived. My daughter came to visit me for Christmas and has now left without her present as I couldn't afford or find another one in time... does anyone know whether these items will ever arrive or how to get money back?
Ive been told by my bank the company is now in administration. You need to get in touch with your bank/credit card company. If you feel it's a fraud (as I do) then I'd suggest filling in the online fraud http://www.actionfraud.police.uk
I ordered 2 item on 19/12/2016 I just received a email. After that I call or email them they don't answer and I still wait for my order. I think after too many bad feedback we must report to the police
I haven't used this company but just here to say to everyone to report this to trading standards, and police. If nobody has received items, it's basically theft of your money, especially as they seem to have cut all contact with customers. Please, please remember to report this. The more complaints there are, the better the case for getting everyone's money back as this sounds like they never had the items and never intended to deliver anything. And remember, always do a good Google search on online sites reviews etc, and don't get so caught up in trends like these hatchimals that you'll throw your money at any site offering them, as that's what the scammers hope for. Hope you all have a good Christmas despite what has happened
I ordered and paid for a dash cam in November and I have still not received it. I've sent emails which haven't been answered so my next step is trade and standereds. I'm furious.
Anxiously waiting my nutri bullet 100 and have just read these reviews! I'm guessing now it's not going to come... awful that these companies can have these functioning websites... what can I do to make sure other people don't get caught? Surely someone can shut down their site...
Orders not received, was to be here for 24 of December, never arrived, £130 pounds paid for a toaster and feeling a bit burnt now after reading the rest of the reviews on this site, paid on my debit card so i guess i have seen the last of that. Web site is not responding..
I ordered my item on 7 December. A week ago I received an email to say that they were behind with orders because of heavy demand on Black Friday. I then received another email to say my item would definitely be delivered on the 23rd. Needless to say there has not been a delivery or any further word from them.
My item was a Christmas present for an adult and I can explain it away but how the bosses of this company can sleep at night knowing that so many kids will be without Christmas presents I don't know. Many parents do not have the money to replace what they've ordered.
I will give them a week to refund my money and then go to the credit card provider.
Please refer to the reviews on Facebook and the hundreds of people who have ordered and received no further contact. Not one person has actually had an order fulfillled. This " company" is a complete con and I send my sympathies to all of you with children who are faced with trying to explain why their Christmas present hasn't arrived. Please let everyone you know that this site is a con.
Absolutely agree with you, it is disgusting the service. Just an answerphone line saying not their fault it is because the courier is overwhelmed. Just found they have not even fulfilled the order which was guaranteed for delivery between 21st and 23rd Dec. They have already taken the money off my card and not even shipped... take real care ever dealing with this company or their directors. We will go to trading standards to complain and get compensation.
Ulster bank in Republic of Ireland were aware of this when I rang... i was on to the fraud department and they are dealing with the scum... apparently if they don't provide proof of delivery they have to refund me of over 400 for the Playstation vr my son will never get!
Everyone get on to your bank urgently!
I ordered a play station VR headset in November. This was to be the main present for my sons Christmas present. Like the rest of you good people I am sat here at the end of my tether. No present, no refund!
I too will contact trading standards and the fraud unit. I cannot believe the owner of this company!
Whoever you are... You are a heartless thief! Ruining my sons Xmas! I have no way to get anything else. I am absolutely heartbroken.
Email for refund and they apologise and say contact your bank for a chargeback it will take 1-24 hours, while we wash our hands of you customers "bull$#*! savvibuy I hope you end up in court and end up homeless and all us good people live happily ever after you dirty thieving scumbags.
I'm the same as everyone else. I ordered this and it was originally due to be delve red by the 16th Dec. I have an email trace guaranteeing it would be delivered today, but unfortunately was not. I now have to go out tomorrow and buy my husband another present! I'm just hoping for a refund! Someone needs to le watchdog know!
Ordered ps vr but having seen the reviews and googling the company address became very unsure so cancelled my order next day got a refund straight away dodge a bullet I think especially as the Ps vr is as rare as rocking horse $#*!. Will wait now as no chance of receiving the item before xmas.
Do not use this company. They took my money on 29th nov 16 and I still don't have the iPad that I ordered. I've just read all these reviews and it looks like it's a big scam.
So I have lost £330 and have no iPad for my mums xmas gift. Gutted.
I ordered a microwave two weeks ago. Its the 20 december and Im still waiting. Theyre hopeless. I am hoping to get a refund but I reckon Ill have to get it back from my credit card company.
Dont order anything from them stay away!
BIG SUPRISE... they have shut down their website and not taking any new orders! Lmao. Good thing. Now you CAN email them about your refund. Although I don't know about the rest of you, but once I started chewing them out. They stopped responding to me at all. I hope they all go to jail.
I am so annoyed that I didn't receive the tablet I ordered for my nephew on the 8th of December and had to go to Argos and spend another 170 on another one even though Savvibuy GUARANTEED the order would be delivered in time for Christmas. I then got an email to state that I could go to the bank and request a chargeback. Not that straight forward as bank are now looking for more information and I have already emailed savvibuy to state that I wanted to cancel the order.
Is this company still active as they are not answering emails or answering the phone.
I most certainly will not be ordering from this site again.
Answer: I have also had the same problem unfortunately this site is a scam I had to report as fraud you need to contact your bank immediately
Answer: They are based in Rochdale. There address was on there website.
Answer: Rid you paid by credit card, phone your bank and ask about Chargeback. We did this on Sacvibuys suggestion and when we called the bank, it knew right away and took us to a line dealing with Savvibuy and its sister company. We were promised return of money within 9 working days.
Answer: Savvibuy suggested contacting our bank and using "chargeback". We used our on line banking, and went into the section showing banking forms. Within this is "chargeback". When we went into this and filled in the form to refund money. We used a debit card. The bank has said it will investigate. We should have used a credit card though. Interestingly, on calling the bank and using a menu, when I chose 'unrecognised company, it gave the example of Savvibuy and Advanced tech. Wonder if this is a hot issue!
SavviBuy has a rating of 1 stars from 329 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with SavviBuy most frequently mention credit card, trading standards and 23rd december. SavviBuy ranks 698th among Discount Shopping sites.
