I purchased the Madrid Walnut 5pc Round Dining Room Set from Rooms to Go on June 9,2025 (Order ID: *******) for $1,530.08. It was delivered and assembled on June 14. In less than a month, the tabletop started developing scratches and surface marks — and we barely even use it. We're a quiet household with no children, and the table is only used once per day. I filed a complaint, and a technician came to inspect the table. He took photos and admitted there was no sign of misuse. Still, Rooms to Go refused to take any action, claiming the table "was fine at the time of delivery." To top it off, the customer service rep I spoke with was shockingly rude, offering no solutions and making it clear they just didn't care. This is not what I expect from a company I've trusted for years. I have pictures showing the damage, which I'm posting where possible. The wood used on this table is clearly of poor quality and not suitable for daily use. Rooms to Go will gladly sell you an expensive item, push you into financing, then disappear when issues arise. I will never buy from them again, and I urge others to shop elsewhere.
I bought $7k worth of furniture over the last 3 years. Paint is peeling from my couch 8 months in and even with pictures with dates,? They refuse to fix. Read the fine print and it's set up that there's no way they'll ever accept any claim. No reason to ever pay extra for the warranty they offer because they lie and say it covers any and everything for 3 years. Such a scam! 💰💰💰

Delivery driver would not deliver down my road. Offered to have it unloaded in pick up truck and taken down or entry to back road entrance, but he would not. His attitude was rude and frankly I feel he just did not want to have to set up the furniture, which I paid to have done, and he felt because I was a woman, he would get away with it. He drove off and I immediately got on phone with customer service trying to get my furniture before the driver got too far away. Service rep made it sound like they were contacting the delivery manager right away. I made the comment that I did not want it to get late and have them say it was too late to deliver. Well, after over an hour with no call back, I called only to be told they were still waiting on delivery manager to get back in contact with them or respond to email. I made them aware that I needed this furniture (bed) because my previous one was already taken down and gone in preparation for the delivery, and I have health issues, etc. Was assured. After over 4 hours and many calls and texts to customer service, they finally said the manager got back to them and said that it was now too late to deliver the furniture (Thursday)and couldn't bring it the next day (Friday). Then they proceeded to tell me they do not deliver Saturday, Sunday, or Monday either and could not guarantee delivery for Tuesday. What?! This was their fault not mine yet they did not care. Horrible company. Also, they drove the furniture all the way back to another state because they said they had to check the furniture back in before rescheduling. Huh? They choose to waste money by having to pay more gas and an employee to drive back out to deliver my bed all because they hired an incompetent, rude, and lazy delivery driver that does not care about customers or company reputation. This driver just gets away with this and the delivery manager backs him up. Horrible management! Now I see so many others complaints and issues! I am posting everywhere in hopes of saving some others from becoming a customer for this company and being left in a horrible and similar predicament. I have no bed and am at the mercy of hoping someone higher up in management will care about the integrity of their company and deliver my bed asap, or be forced to cancel, contact BBB, and buy from some place else.
Shoddy workmanship to say the least.
This was the first and last time I will shop at rooms to go. I did not buy a cheap coach. It was almost 1200.00 total plus a warranty cost. I take off work to wait for the couch in a 4 hour window, The coach is delivered and the delivery guys see that it is broken. A month later I take off another day of work to do something that is not my fault and not only inconvenience me but financially cost me. I get the replacement and it appears to be OK. The delivery guy asked how it was broken and I said I do not know. I asked him to look and he said he didnt have the time.
Before this I had said that I took off 2 days work which cost me 250.00 Other places were give you a discount but the lady in a condescending was said they offer a replacement only.
Lets see how word of mouth and facebook work...

I contacted the RTG warranty department which is backed by Guardian.
The phone team was courteous.
I was repeatedly asked to send the same photos of damage and the entire sectional by several different reps.
They LITERALLY ASKED FOR THE SAME PICS ON THREE DIFFERENT OCCASIONS.
The damage was accidental and I was assured that I would be covered.

Starting in December had a problem with our recliner but due to having an extended warranty was not worried. Today we were supposed to have our recliner serviced but no one showed up. Now we must wait another month and hope someone shows up for our next appointment. To bad I took off work today and wasted a whole day waiting just to find out they were not coming out. Why have a warranty if you cannot get the product repaired in a timely fashion. BETTER YET WHY SHOP@ ROOMS TO GO...
We purchased many products in the past form RTG only to be recently MOSTLY disappointed. We purchased the SOLANA POP EXTENSIONT ABLE WITH GLASS in December 2020 for $699.99. After only 1-year, the discoloration of one of the panels was extremely evident. We also purchased the FORTEGRA 3-YEAR GUARD warranty ($56) which is TOTALLY USELESS. If you're going to purchase from RTG, which I do not recommend, DO NOT PURCHASE ANY SERVICE CONTRACT.
In summary…
1. I was promised by the sales representative online if I didn't like the table for any reason I could return it.
2. The table broke upon assembly (piece of crap), so I called and spoke with *******@roomstogo.com and she asked me to send pictures, which I did (though I'm not sure why, I no longer liked it and wanted to return so pictures seemed unnecessary).
3. I sent the pictures, never heard back so called again and spoke with *******@roomstogo.com and sent him pictures. No response.
4. I sent the pictures to Jamal on the online chat help, he put me on hold for over 45 minutes when trying to connect me somewhere else.
5. I then re-sent my pictures to both emails above, with a delivery receipt request, and the emails were delivered. Again and with no surprise, no response.
6. I filled out the customer service form at RoomsToGo online, NO response.
7. This has been going on for TWO MONTHS.
DO NOT BUY from Rooms To Go! Definitely not online, horrible customer service, worst I've ever seen.
I bought a platform bed with the massager, moves up and down and had all the things. They agreed to take my old mattress and boxspring. When they set the bed up they were rude and refused to take the old bed. I called the store and customer service and was told to bad. I had to pay to get rid of it. I asked them to reimburse me the money and they said no. I had a 9000 dollar credit card with them. I will never purchase anything from them again and I cancelled the card. I bought 4000 more in living room set they missed out on. They are horrible people.
Bought a "Cindy Crawford" sectional. The foam is horrible and worn out after 2 years. Stay away from Rooms To Go.
We purchased a sectional in Jan 22. Needed a repair June 23. Parts ordered July 23. Never heard back from the company. In Dec 23 I called for another update and they Indicated the parts not available so we have to get a reselect. It has to be of same value or more (we pay difference), plus we have to pay delivery again and taxes and any new extended warranty.
This is how they get you. They won't refund your extended warranty, you can't buy a less expensive sofa. So buying the extended warranty on a defective sofa means we will have to spend yet another $1000 to get a sofa that lasts more than 18 months.
I requested a call back from the manager yesterday- never got one.
Please don't purchase from them- shop local and not a franchise brand in it only for the money.
All I asked was to get the extended warranty refunded. I refuse to go spend another cent with them.
They are an example of heartless big corp out to crush the small businesses.
First of all, I love Rooms To Go. I love walking through the store and dreaming, and I have bought a lot of furniture there, mostly couches, chairs etc and have been very pleased. This time, however, I purchased a Dining set-Riverdale was the name. The surface of the table is very delicate and unless you plan to never use it or touch it, Buyer Beware! Beautiful but delicate.
As to the extended warranties, I have never had a case to use one, and watch out the cost is tacked on before you know it, but I would continue to get them for stuffed items like couches, however trying to use it for the table, fine print after fine print, and for me, useless.
Purchased a queen bed (headboard, sides with drawers, and footboard) and dresser with mirror. These items emitted fumes from day one. Fumes so bad caused headaches and rendered my bedroom unusable. After three days I moved the furniture to my garage thinking that removing the furniture would remove the fumes/awful smell from my room, unfortunately it did not. I have removed all items to include curtains, a stand up mirror, a chair, recliner, nite stands and still the awful smell remains, I washed the walls twice, shampooed carpet twice and painted the walls, still the smell the fumes remain. When I initially complained I was told there would be no refund that I had to pick a replacement within 30 days. Rooms to Go sent a tech to check the furniture and he verified the awful smell. The furniture was picked up by Rooms to Go the following week at which time the pickup/delivery guy (same person who delivered the set) stated that the white set identical to the one I purchased smelled worse. I informed Rooms to Go I would not purchase any furniture from them due to the lasting smell in my bedroom, a room in my house I could not use. After several emails, a phone call from a mean person name Gina, followed by another call from a different Rooms to Go person, I was informed that I would get a full refund and account would be zeroed out. Fine however I still cannot use my bedroom, have spent money and time trying to rid my bedroom of this awful smell that has not diminished not even a little bit. Items once in this room were placed on my screened porch and on my balcony and despite being outside for 6 weeks, the smell the fumes have not diminished. I run the ceiling fan and window fan everyday. The bedroom is on the 2nd, the odor is so strong if you walk out side on the ground you can smell the stink, the fumes from my bedroom a bedroom I cannot use. Rooms to Go should pay for ruining my home, they should not be allowed to sell hazardous, smelly furniture. If you need furniture, do not buy from

I have made the worst mistake purchasing a sofa sleeper sectional from Rooms To Go. The arrival was long (3 months) and split delivery. They send one out of the 2 pieces sofa incorrect. Store manager Amy was unhelpful and rude. Only solution was given to pay $200 difference due to the price of the correct sofa piece. I feel like it's not my fault that the order number was placed incorrect and it's not fair when I paid the whole amount of thousands of dollars the same day of purchase. NO RETURN POLICY! So now I have to sit down too uneven color and unfinished sofa sectional. Makes me upset every time I look at it. I will never purchase or recommend from Rooms to Go!
I am disabled and have been looking for a recliner chair for over a year, visiting several furniture stores. I had a fantastic experience shopping at Rooms to Go near my home in Jenson Beach Florida. My friend and I were greeted by Naji Abouraad and it was all up hill from there!. He asked me several not only about what I was looking for but also what I needed for my condition. Naji's friendly demeanor and kindness made the process actually fun. I found the prefect chair. Anyone who wants stress free and no pressure service please seek out Naji. Thank you

I purchased a table and chairs for my dining room, ended up waiting 3 months for delivery. I had to change the delivery time when it finally came in because I had to get off work on a Saturday.
I have a broken leg and I had left the door unlocked downstairs so they could come in when they knocked I said come in and nobody was there I had to go downstairs they were at the street unloading the furniture I got upset because I had to hobble down the stairs when I left the door open for other delivery guy comes in screams at me that I upset his friend brings the table very loudly up the stairs and I ask him to be quieter because I have neighbors underneath me He decides to take my table and leave. I call Rooms to Go and they proceed to tell me I have to wait until at least Tuesday for another delivery I work Monday through Saturday and it was hard getting off so I could take this delivery to begin with after paying extra money for delivery and waiting 3 months I called Rooms to Go only to get no satisfaction they tell me I have to wait it can't be delivered today and they refuse to give me the name and the number of the third party company that is doing the delivery I am so angry I'm in tears. I told them they could keep the table when I called because of the lack of customer service. I have been a customer of this store for over 25 years and I am appalled at the way I was treated and that they actually carried the furniture they brought to me out of here I could have put it together myself!.
Very disappointing experience with rooms to go. We bought couch by paying $5500+. They provide extended warranty period of 3 years which is handled fortegra… just don't fall in to this waste company. This company is fooling customers by saying all the damages will be covered. But they will not cover anything. One simple word will say 'this issue will not come under waaranty'. I bought this couch, one year back, just after 1.2 months I am seeing leather is getting cracked just with 1 year of span. Low quality and higher price. Very much disappointed with service. I paid so much money for cheap leather and extra warranty I took of no use(their simple word is we will not cover this). On serious note, please don't trust thsi rooms to go. After buying, they never care for customers. Instead please buy from Costco, they really respect their customers.

I bought dining room chairs in November, 2019, by June 2023 they are peeling. One started and now I have 2 more. These are used sparingly as it is a dining room. I tried several ways to contact customer service for some resolution, but they could care less.
Furniture is junk and I will never shop there again.
