Doesn't deserve a star.
Delivery driver would not deliver down my road. Offered to have it unloaded in pick up truck and taken down or entry to back road entrance, but he would not. His attitude was rude and frankly I feel he just did not want to have to set up the furniture, which I paid to have done, and he felt because I was a woman, he would get away with it. He drove off and I immediately got on phone with customer service trying to get my furniture before the driver got too far away. Service rep made it sound like they were contacting the delivery manager right away. I made the comment that I did not want it to get late and have them say it was too late to deliver. Well, after over an hour with no call back, I called only to be told they were still waiting on delivery manager to get back in contact with them or respond to email. I made them aware that I needed this furniture (bed) because my previous one was already taken down and gone in preparation for the delivery, and I have health issues, etc. Was assured. After over 4 hours and many calls and texts to customer service, they finally said the manager got back to them and said that it was now too late to deliver the furniture (Thursday)and couldn't bring it the next day (Friday). Then they proceeded to tell me they do not deliver Saturday, Sunday, or Monday either and could not guarantee delivery for Tuesday. What?! This was their fault not mine yet they did not care. Horrible company. Also, they drove the furniture all the way back to another state because they said they had to check the furniture back in before rescheduling. Huh? They choose to waste money by having to pay more gas and an employee to drive back out to deliver my bed all because they hired an incompetent, rude, and lazy delivery driver that does not care about customers or company reputation. This driver just gets away with this and the delivery manager backs him up. Horrible management! Now I see so many others complaints and issues! I am posting everywhere in hopes of saving some others from becoming a customer for this company and being left in a horrible and similar predicament. I have no bed and am at the mercy of hoping someone higher up in management will care about the integrity of their company and deliver my bed asap, or be forced to cancel, contact BBB, and buy from some place else.
I have made the worst mistake purchasing a sofa sleeper sectional from Rooms To Go. The arrival was long (3 months) and split delivery. They send one out of the 2 pieces sofa incorrect. Store manager Amy was unhelpful and rude. Only solution was given to pay $200 difference due to the price of the correct sofa piece. I feel like it's not my fault that the order number was placed incorrect and it's not fair when I paid the whole amount of thousands of dollars the same day of purchase. NO RETURN POLICY! So now I have to sit down too uneven color and unfinished sofa sectional. Makes me upset every time I look at it. I will never purchase or recommend from Rooms to Go!
We purchased a sectional in Jan 22. Needed a repair June 23. Parts ordered July 23. Never heard back from the company. In Dec 23 I called for another update and they Indicated the parts not available so we have to get a reselect. It has to be of same value or more (we pay difference), plus we have to pay delivery again and taxes and any new extended warranty.
This is how they get you. They won't refund your extended warranty, you can't buy a less expensive sofa. So buying the extended warranty on a defective sofa means we will have to spend yet another $1000 to get a sofa that lasts more than 18 months.
I requested a call back from the manager yesterday- never got one.
Please don't purchase from them- shop local and not a franchise brand in it only for the money.
All I asked was to get the extended warranty refunded. I refuse to go spend another cent with them.
They are an example of heartless big corp out to crush the small businesses.
First of all, I love Rooms To Go. I love walking through the store and dreaming, and I have bought a lot of furniture there, mostly couches, chairs etc and have been very pleased. This time, however, I purchased a Dining set-Riverdale was the name. The surface of the table is very delicate and unless you plan to never use it or touch it, Buyer Beware! Beautiful but delicate.
As to the extended warranties, I have never had a case to use one, and watch out the cost is tacked on before you know it, but I would continue to get them for stuffed items like couches, however trying to use it for the table, fine print after fine print, and for me, useless.
I bought a platform bed with the massager, moves up and down and had all the things. They agreed to take my old mattress and boxspring. When they set the bed up they were rude and refused to take the old bed. I called the store and customer service and was told to bad. I had to pay to get rid of it. I asked them to reimburse me the money and they said no. I had a 9000 dollar credit card with them. I will never purchase anything from them again and I cancelled the card. I bought 4000 more in living room set they missed out on. They are horrible people.
I bought dining room chairs in November, 2019, by June 2023 they are peeling. One started and now I have 2 more. These are used sparingly as it is a dining room. I tried several ways to contact customer service for some resolution, but they could care less.
Furniture is junk and I will never shop there again.
We were delivered a sofa on the 4th of July weekend with a large cut through the fabric. Being a holiday weekend we were out of town so they are denying our return request due to their non-sensible 48-hour policy. I will continue to broadcast our horrible experience until you guys accept my return.
One star is for sales person at store, once you bought the furniture, the delivery& installation etc are very pathetic, handled unprofessionally.
Never buy WARRANTY! They don't keep up their word.

I am disabled and have been looking for a recliner chair for over a year, visiting several furniture stores. I had a fantastic experience shopping at Rooms to Go near my home in Jenson Beach Florida. My friend and I were greeted by Naji Abouraad and it was all up hill from there!. He asked me several not only about what I was looking for but also what I needed for my condition. Starting in December had a problem with our recliner but due to having an extended warranty was not worried. Today we were supposed to have our recliner serviced but no one showed up. Now we must wait another month and hope someone shows up for our next appointment. To bad I took off work today and wasted a whole day waiting just to find out they were not coming out. Why have a warranty if you cannot get the product repaired in a timely fashion. BETTER YET WHY SHOP@ ROOMS TO GO...
In my case, order took a ridiculously long time to arrive (over 3 weeks) and when it did, it was wrong. Getting them to fix the mistake takes even longer. Half my living room set is one color, the other set is still bagged in the plastic, waiting for them to come pick it up and deliver the correct color. They won't tell me when it will be delivered and I'm just supposed to be a storage facility taking up space for a piece of furniture I can't use... literally will never purchase from them again.
Do not spend your $$ buying in rooms to go. Fortegra extended warranty company is the worst company ever. Their policy says that it covers everything mentioned above and when I call they tell me that it does not cover me because it only covers if it is a burn caused by tobacco or cigarettes. This is ridiculous
Spent $3000 on sectional one year and 1 month ago. Two days after the anniversary of purchasing I called because of the corner piece sinking. Got lined up with warranty company, Fortegra, and they did not have a tech available for a month. When the tech came he said cushion compression without looking at frame or springs. We insisted he lift and inspect and he hesitated but did so. He still attested it was cushion compression and that we should get replacement cushions from the warranty company. One month later we received an email stating that cushion compression was not covered and that I should have read the contract. I called back customer service at Rooms to Go and was told I should have called before a year was over. The sofa will not last - buyer beware. Their product is low quality and there are deliberate loopholes in their warranty.
I purchased the Cindy Crawford Home Westover Hills Brown 5 Pc Rectangle Dining Room Set; the furniture is fantastic, well-built quality. However, what is important to note is that the chairs have no pre-stained protection agent. With that being said, I would not purchase the furniture protection by Guardian because their policy is supposed to cover incidents that can cause stains to the fabric. Still, they will send out a cleaner who will make minimal effort to clean your furniture, and depending on the significance of the incident, in my case, an incident that covered all the chairs, they will ask for a photo and deny it the claim. In the end, we had to buy all new chairs. The accidental coverage warranty is a waste of money!
3 deliveries driver 1st cursed at me and left the house because he asked me what was wrong with the furniture and my answer was its damage. He said F this and left with my furniture on the truck. Then the next driver came and destroyed my brand new floors cause. He obviously doesn't know how to take a section all apart. Or put? It back together carrying it outside and denting my front doors. Corporate says the claims department SEID will call you. Well they emailed me from an email that is do not reply rooms. To go? So how do you give them the pictures and an explanation of what happened? This. Is such a joke this company is pathetic? They do not care about their customers. I do not recommend anyone buying from the store. They will not honor their warranties they have damaged my floors. I need a brand new front door that's about $1500. And you get absolutely nowhere and then on top the delivery driver forged my name cause I refused delivery of the damaged items the absolute worst
I called Rooms to Go Customer Service today, 6/7/2022 because one of the electric recliners on my leather sectional stopped working and the footrest is stuck in the up position. I purchased my sectional in February 2021, and have been a loyal customer that has purchased two sofas, end tables, an ottoman, and a host of other furniture from Rooms to Go since 2017.
The response I received was because my sofa warranty has expired, there is nothing they can do. The rep on the phone then suggested that I Google.
I understood that my sofa warranty has expired, but a company that actually cares about their customers should offer the ability to have a service tech come out to repair the broken furniture, and the customer pays for the repair. That would be perfectly acceptable to me, and much better than telling me, sorry, we can't help, and go to Google.
I love my Rooms to Go furniture, but I will absolutely never buy anything else from this company.
We were looking for a couch and thought we had found what we wanted. Four days later we called the store to be sure that it was in stock. We drove over an hour to get to the store only to find out we could not pick the couch up even though it was in stock. We were told that it was due to shutting the warehouse down for new orders because they were backed up due to the holidays. We talked to the manager and he said yes he would not be able to make an exception. I told him if we can't pick it up, they just lost a sale. His response to my comment was well, Have a nice day and walked off.
I would not recommend or ever purchase anything from this company. This was the store in Brookshire, Texas. If they have, a pitiful customer service prior to the sale. I could only imagine what a nightmare it would be after I made my purchase.
Rooms to go is great until they get your money. Delivery to set up is a joke. Its obvious they dont give a $#*! about their customers! Everytime they screw up the item being delivered its another week until they can deliver the item... They could careless how much time off of work it cost you to finally get what you payed for... i will never step foot into another Rooms to Go again...
The sales people and delivery team were professional and helpful. They did push the 3 year warranty and don't seem to give the honest details of it. Within 3 months the cushions were breaking down and you could feel the boards in the couch. The quality is terrible especially for the prices.
I've tried several months to initiate a claim for my purchase. The insurance company that Rooms to go uses are unprofessional and have not answered several emails that's have been sent. I uploaded pictures of the damage item as they requested, but NO response.
