We purchased many products in the past form RTG only to be recently MOSTLY disappointed. We purchased the SOLANA POP EXTENSIONT ABLE WITH GLASS in December 2020 for $699.99. After only 1-year, the discoloration of one of the panels was extremely evident. We also purchased the FORTEGRA 3-YEAR GUARD warranty ($56) which is TOTALLY USELESS. If you're going to purchase from RTG, which I do not recommend, DO NOT PURCHASE ANY SERVICE CONTRACT.

We purchased many products in the past form RTG only to be recently MOSTLY disappointed. We purchased the SOLANA POP EXTENSIONT ABLE WITH GLASS in December 2020 for $699.99. Starting in December had a problem with our recliner but due to having an extended warranty was not worried. Today we were supposed to have our recliner serviced but no one showed up. Now we must wait another month and hope someone shows up for our next appointment. To bad I took off work today and wasted a whole day waiting just to find out they were not coming out. Why have a warranty if you cannot get the product repaired in a timely fashion. BETTER YET WHY SHOP@ ROOMS TO GO...

We purchased a sectional in Jan 22. Needed a repair June 23. Parts ordered July 23. Never heard back from the company. In Dec 23 I called for another update and they Indicated the parts not available so we have to get a reselect. It has to be of same value or more (we pay difference), plus we have to pay delivery again and taxes and any new extended warranty.
This is how they get you. They won't refund your extended warranty, you can't buy a less expensive sofa. So buying the extended warranty on a defective sofa means we will have to spend yet another $1000 to get a sofa that lasts more than 18 months.
I requested a call back from the manager yesterday- never got one.
Please don't purchase from them- shop local and not a franchise brand in it only for the money.
All I asked was to get the extended warranty refunded. I refuse to go spend another cent with them.
They are an example of heartless big corp out to crush the small businesses.

Great service when selling you the product but absolutely horrible in resolving problems with the furniture after the fact. I am going to post an email that we we were instructed to write to *******@roomstogo.com as well as *******@roomstogo.com. The lack of resolution has gotten so bad that we have had to engage the better business bureau. I will tell you do not buy their TEAK Furniture as they do not treat it and it will develop significant mold even if it is not directly exposed to the elements. Please see the email chain below and posted photos.

To whom it may concern:

I have to make a formal complaint regarding the above referenced order number….

I purchased the furniture on 5/29/2023. I took delivery of the furniture sometime in July or August.

The furniture was delivered inside my house, and we were unable to put it outside until our outdoor construction was complete. We ended up finishing the construction around the first week of December and move the furniture outside under a covered structure in the second week of December.

Within a month of being outside (with zero direct exposure to rain or sunlight) the furniture started to develop mold across the teak. We have other teak furniture under the same structure and the only furniture that developed mold was the furniture I purchased from Rooms to Go.

We reached out to Rooms To Go Customer Care, and they sent a gentleman to my house to "treat" the furniture. This gentleman told my wife that the furniture "should not" be developing mold like this and he was unable to clean it off. Since his visit (less than a week ago) the mold has gotten much worse.

I reached out to Rooms To Go again today to see what the "status" was, and they told me that the mold was "normal", and I should consistently treat the furniture with a mixture of bleach and water. I cannot imagine how the mold development on the Rooms To Go furniture is normal when the other teak furniture outside has not developed any signs of mold. I also cannot imagine how the development of mold is normal when the Rooms To Go Repair Man told my wife that this should not be happening to our furniture. I am also blown away that the "normal development of mold" was not communicated to me by the salesperson or store at the time of purchase (or we never would have purchased the furniture).

We bought the most expensive patio set in the store and within a month of it being in its "designed" location it is developing mold. My wife who suffers from a few health issues will not sit on or use the furniture for fear of how it can affect her and when I call "customer service" the response I get is "that is normal, clean it consistently with 50% water and 50% bleach". This is new furniture, and this should not be happening.

I am so incredibly disappointed with the lack of concern and the immediate dismissal of my issues. My wife and I originally choose furniture from Crate and Barrel and choose to go with Rooms To Go because of the warranty and look at where it got me.

This is not the level of service I would expect from Rooms To Go.

We continue to go back and forth and I have filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau

In summary…
1. I was promised by the sales representative online if I didn't like the table for any reason I could return it.
2. The table broke upon assembly (piece of crap), so I called and spoke with *******@roomstogo.com and she asked me to send pictures, which I did (though I'm not sure why, I no longer liked it and wanted to return so pictures seemed unnecessary).
3. I sent the pictures, never heard back so called again and spoke with *******@roomstogo.com and sent him pictures. No response.
4. I sent the pictures to Jamal on the online chat help, he put me on hold for over 45 minutes when trying to connect me somewhere else.
5. I then re-sent my pictures to both emails above, with a delivery receipt request, and the emails were delivered. Again and with no surprise, no response.
6. I filled out the customer service form at RoomsToGo online, NO response.
7. This has been going on for TWO MONTHS.
DO NOT BUY from Rooms To Go! Definitely not online, horrible customer service, worst I've ever seen.

I have made the worst mistake purchasing a sofa sleeper sectional from Rooms To Go. The arrival was long (3 months) and split delivery. They send one out of the 2 pieces sofa incorrect. Store manager Amy was unhelpful and rude. Only solution was given to pay $200 difference due to the price of the correct sofa piece. I feel like it's not my fault that the order number was placed incorrect and it's not fair when I paid the whole amount of thousands of dollars the same day of purchase. NO RETURN POLICY! So now I have to sit down too uneven color and unfinished sofa sectional. Makes me upset every time I look at it. I will never purchase or recommend from Rooms to Go!

I bought a platform bed with the massager, moves up and down and had all the things. They agreed to take my old mattress and boxspring. When they set the bed up they were rude and refused to take the old bed. I called the store and customer service and was told to bad. I had to pay to get rid of it. I asked them to reimburse me the money and they said no. I had a 9000 dollar credit card with them. I will never purchase anything from them again and I cancelled the card. I bought 4000 more in living room set they missed out on. They are horrible people.

I bought dining room chairs in November, 2019, by June 2023 they are peeling. One started and now I have 2 more. These are used sparingly as it is a dining room. I tried several ways to contact customer service for some resolution, but they could care less.

Furniture is junk and I will never shop there again.

Bought a "Cindy Crawford" sectional. The foam is horrible and worn out after 2 years. Stay away from Rooms To Go.

3 deliveries driver 1st cursed at me and left the house because he asked me what was wrong with the furniture and my answer was its damage. He said F this and left with my furniture on the truck. Then the next driver came and destroyed my brand new floors cause. He obviously doesn't know how to take a section all apart. Or put? It back together carrying it outside and denting my front doors. Corporate says the claims department SEID will call you. Well they emailed me from an email that is do not reply rooms. To go? So how do you give them the pictures and an explanation of what happened? This. Is such a joke this company is pathetic? They do not care about their customers. I do not recommend anyone buying from the store. They will not honor their warranties they have damaged my floors. I need a brand new front door that's about $1500. And you get absolutely nowhere and then on top the delivery driver forged my name cause I refused delivery of the damaged items the absolute worst

Rooms to go delivered a damaged sofa & chair. I had to wait a month for an exchange. The new sofa is damaged as well after I was told it would be inspected for damage before it's delivered.I was asked to wait another month for a different sofa. Go somewhere else for furniture! The delivery drivers don't give a dam about damaging the furniture or your personal property. I am so sorry I bought from them, now I'm stuck with them.

Poor quality and warranty is a SCAM! I purchased 2 "top grain leather" eric church sofas in mid July of 2021 for $3,100 and with minimal use of an hour or less per day they are already falling apart. The leather is cracked and discolored in the main seating area's, the once beautiful stitch work is coming undone in multiple areas and the manual recliners regularly get jammed. The salesman at this place push the Fortegra 3 year extended warranty at time of purchase by telling the customer's it will cover everything under the sun from cracking and peeling etc however when I called to file a claim they tell me to read the fine print because the leather defects and stitchwork are not covered and only the reclining issue would be serviceable under warranty. I have had furniture with considerably more use last MUCH longer and not have these issues. Rooms to go does not stand by the products they offer and the warranty they push on you is an outright scam.

Do not spend your $$ buying in rooms to go. Fortegra extended warranty company is the worst company ever. Their policy says that it covers everything mentioned above and when I call they tell me that it does not cover me because it only covers if it is a burn caused by tobacco or cigarettes. This is ridiculous

Very disappointing experience with rooms to go. We bought couch by paying $5500+. They provide extended warranty period of 3 years which is handled fortegra… just don't fall in to this waste company. This company is fooling customers by saying all the damages will be covered. But they will not cover anything. One simple word will say 'this issue will not come under waaranty'. I bought this couch, one year back, just after 1.2 months I am seeing leather is getting cracked just with 1 year of span. Low quality and higher price. Very much disappointed with service. I paid so much money for cheap leather and extra warranty I took of no use(their simple word is we will not cover this). On serious note, please don't trust thsi rooms to go. After buying, they never care for customers. Instead please buy from Costco, they really respect their customers.

In my case, order took a ridiculously long time to arrive (over 3 weeks) and when it did, it was wrong. Getting them to fix the mistake takes even longer. Half my living room set is one color, the other set is still bagged in the plastic, waiting for them to come pick it up and deliver the correct color. They won't tell me when it will be delivered and I'm just supposed to be a storage facility taking up space for a piece of furniture I can't use... literally will never purchase from them again.

Well I purchased an entire all leather sectional and tables for my mother last year. One of the rails under one recliner was bent so They brought a new recliner. We both had a lot going on during this time as I was getting ready for spine surgery then my mom was hospitalized. So when I got mom back home about 2 wks later...after they delivered it I noticed that the chair arm is leaning a little outward, not standing up correctly. I had spine surgery Then End Of October 2022 and was unable to call them.when I finally did they said it is not covered because I had 30 days to contact them Once I Noticed It. Life happens and mom being hospitalized and me having spine surgery, needing months to recover and to learn to walk again. None of that was taken into consideration...extended Warranty said that It would not be covered and will stay as it is. I paid way too much money for them to bring another chair in with another issue and it not to be covered because Life changing experiences occurred that prevented me from being able to call them. Unacceptable and Discouraging that after they get your money, no matter what occurs, it is not covered under the extended warranty under NO CIRCUMSTANCES after 30 days.

We had just bought a new house so we needed new furniture for it. We went to Rooms to go and bought a living room set, a dinning room set and a king size bedroom set. Took 3 months for delivery but that wasn't the issue. They had added an warranty to each piece that I bought without knowing they charged for the added warranty, well a little over 2 years later I had some issues with the couch armrest caving in and you could hear them crunch when you leaned on them and also had a tear in the back cushion caused by my puppy which was supposed to be covered by their accidental damage portion of the warranty. I had 2 representatives show up, one called into his office and took pics of the damages then he had told me the parts would be mailed directly to me then I would have to call them so they could come make the repairs. Well months past by so I went to their online to check the claim status and it said I was denied!
What the@!?!?!? The rep told me parts would be shipped to me? If I was denied why would he say the parts are gonna be shipped out? So if you plan on shopping from Rooms to Go DO NOT BUY THE WARRANTY as they will not honor it. It's just another way for them to take money from you without you even know you are paying for a warranty, maybe I should have looked at it better but honestly I was focused on the monthly payment I could afford. I will never buy any warranties from anyone again nor will I buy from Rooms to Go and I would advise others to avoid them as well... Who knew the furniture business was so crooked.

The sales people and delivery team were professional and helpful. They did push the 3 year warranty and don't seem to give the honest details of it. Within 3 months the cushions were breaking down and you could feel the boards in the couch. The quality is terrible especially for the prices.

Being a holiday weekend we were out of town so they are denying our return request due to their non-sensible 48-hour policy. I will continue to broadcast our horrible experience until you guys accept my return.

Buyer Beware. Stay away. I bought new furniture that I waited 7 months to arrive. Within a few months the top finish of the dresser came off and went down to the wood. They said it was not a manufacture's defect. Of course it was. I did not pour acid or spill anything on it. Both Rooms To Go and Fortegra warranty refuse to help. Both are scam companies.

If you can possibly help it do Not buy furniture from Rooms to go, its hit or miss if you can get replacement parts and the insurance doesn't cover anything useful. They didn't cover a damaged cord that wouldn't have been damaged if it would stay plugged on not would they replace a broken drawer pull and you also cannot buy the drawer part.

Please beware of leather living room furniture. I purchased the first set and within three years the leather was peeling. They gave me an offer to purchase another set. I did but not leather. I tried again with a different type of leather, not bonded. Unfortunately that leather peeled and cracked. Both times I had an extended warranty which ends in three years, which is when you finish paying for it. Furniture should lasts more than three years. I live alone so it is not like there is a lot of usage. Never ever will I buy from rooms to go again. They wanted to give me money to purchase more furniture, so I can spend more money. I don't want more furniture, I want the furniture repaired. So frustrating!
