You don't even need to verify your account on this website to make a review. You simply need the same prepackaged fake review, make a handful of other reviews of the random sites Sitejabber presents you, and click submit! There are plenty of photos of hotel rooms you can use as images off sites such as TripAdvisor. You can also go take random photos off the internet. It's a shame you can use any reverse image search tool to find out they're all fake. Maybe the fake reviewers need to get more creative; the "story" type setup of how horrible their former roommate was gets quite old. Also the "and then I found Roomster" is too. Is Roomster behind this?

Charging for a service that is essentially craigslist, or facebook marketplace is ridiculous. If paying customers are the only way you prove their seriousness, or legality, you should really try to obtain money from advertising when you figure out a free way to authenticate a customer's intent to find a rental, and to avoid scams.

Would recommend to anyone looking to rent available rooms that they have. Havent used it to find a roommate so I cant speak to that part of the site.

I just started using the website last night. Very user friendly. A lot of clicks are not required. Wonderful interface. Small complaints: a lot of duplicate ads and I think all posters with rooms or places to rent should be required to upload photos.

I move to New York from Israel, one year ago. I didn’t have good experience with apartment looking. Insane the amount of apartments empty, and how nothing works for you. I no like taking long time looking here, looking there, it is tiring, I work as businessman and no time for nonsenses. Here I put in everything I look for one time, then talking with people is fast part because they see what I want, and I see what they want, and then everything work out like it need to. If you want simple solution, then look on Roomster website you find good results.

In the past I would say a 5 but its taking forever to find a good roommate. I know FB market place maybe taking some customers and covid situation also but you keep raising your rates you should lower them

I was impressed with the responsiveness of their customer service and the efficiency of their site. No gimmicks here. Straight up roommate matching. If that’s what you’re looking for this is the place. I created a listing stating I needed a bedroom in a clean, affordable house in a good neighborhood. I ended up finding exactly what I was looking for after some due diligence.

Roomster is the way to go! Just used it in order to find a new roommate for my loft and couldn't have had a better experience on any other website! The whole process from listing to viewing applications and interviews has been a breeze. My new roommate is so sweet and she also had a good experience with Roomster on her end. ALSO I accidentally forgot to cancel my subscription after finding Jenna, and was charged twice and had to request my money back, which was handled within the hour with no issues! All in all, A+.

Dear all brother roomster.com is not a spam. Because if roomster would become a spam then roomster.com never refund the customers money. But many of the customer got his money back. Roomster want to business in market. I love roomster.com.So I tell everyone roomster is great.

The price is high. Most sites do not even require a payment. If i quickly find a place with a quality roommate then i am willing to change my review how ever because of the high cost of the pay wall I am starting off fairly dissatisfied.

My roommate freshman year was awful. It started off with her following me everywhere. Which I was sympathetic too because I knew people and she didn't. She then started to leave old food out and basically make our room unlivable. I mean we had a serious case of fruit flies. And her filth spread onto my side of the room. To make matters worse she smelled really bad. Oh and she stole from me. Not only money and food, but my socks too! It got so bad that I stopped sleeping in my own room. Eventually I decided to move out and found some listings for rooms online at Roomster. So happy I found this site because I ended up paying less for a private room then I was paying for a shared dorm.

Someone at my campus posted an ad on the bulletin board with a link to Roomster and that’s how I discovered it. Went on there without ever hearing about it before and ended up finding a much better place than posted on the original ad :D hadn’t have found it if that person had not posted that so I am stoked!

I would like to call someone from this organization because I have no idea how it really works. Are my notices to people getting sent without my signing up? I did decide to sign up for 7 days to try it out and then would maybe like to cancel. But what benefits do I get for paying for the week? Would notices to people go through anyway?

I have had such bad luck with roommates in the past and have had 3 in the past year! Once again I needed to find someone for one of the rooms in my apartment and I had never tried Roomster before! The process was really easy and I found the website so great to use! Very straightforward and secure! After interviewing 7 different people in a few days, I have finally found someone who is looking for a long-term rental!

Major ripoff! I paid $50 for 2 months to advertise a room in my home. The place I was renting was a great deal and a great setup. I got almost not inquires. When ever I e-mailed a perspective tenant, 95% of them could not respond to my e-mail because they didn't pay $25 to Roomster. I presumed that they could respond to me because I paid the $. I think Roomster does this to keep people enrolled on the site. It costed me time and took me 5 weeks to realize what was happening. This is truly a scam... try to learn from my mistake... don't go with Roomster! I was able to rent using Craigs List in 3 days and had over 8 inquiries.

The site was super easy to use and there tons of listings for rooms as well as people looking for shares. I signed up for a 7 day subscription and found a roommate within 48 hrs! In Roomster there are many rooms in LA. Any times when I go LA I take help from Roomster.com because its room's qualities are best and peaceful also cheap rates per month. I found the site to be easy to use and straight forward.
