I posted an ad on Craigslist and now I'm being spammed by Roomster. What's up with that?

We do not post on Craigslist and do not spam or send any messages like this.

This happened to me less than 30 minutes ago. Replied to an ad posted on Craigslist and 30 seconds later got and email and text from Roomsters saying that to get the room I had to sign up with them. The room on Craigslist is not even on their site.

That is also happening to me too. I just put up an ad on craigslist for a room for rent and within the past five minutes I've gotten three texts from fake "people" that are telling me they are interested and send me a link to roomster. How do i stop this? Its stupid and annoying..

They are nothing but scammers and spam anyones ad about rooms or shares. Every time i post looking for a room get like 5 fakes trying to sign me up for roomster and they don't even have the place i was interested in. I even say in my ad not to send me any links to anything. Obvious fraud if they're not even reading the ad. They don't have any rooms to offer so don't care about the person trying to rent. Just getting money from the poor ppl falling for this $#*!e
