Two weeks ago I went into Rite-Aid on Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway in Portland, OR.
Presented a "Good RX" card for 360 each Famotidine 40MG (Generic Pepcid). Was quoted $32.28. Only 150 were available so they said it would be ordered and they would call me when in stock. Received the call to pick them up and when I went to the pharmacy to pay for them they wanted over $60. I explained I had been quoted $32.28 with "Good RX" when I was in a few days earlier. Their response: "Prices change". Told them to keep them and I went next door to Albertson's pharmacy where they sold me 360 for $35.75. I'm a senior citizen and have lived in Portland all my life, but can no longer support Rite-Aid while they try to take advantage of customers.
I dont think the store is bad but the 3 workers are horrible theyre always following me around the store and try to get me to take off my backpag that part i understand cause its thier store rules but following around and harassing me is just wrong
I NEVER meant to order for items to be "shipped"... but do a store pick-up. It seems the items weren't available for store pickup so I went with it as I needed the items and the system said 3-5 business days. 8 business days later the package is sitting in a facility in midwest with NO estimated DELIVERY. I will pay more from Amazon to get a timely package rather than to be waiting for something I need.
I have tried repeatedly to get on to Rite Aid website. I have tried calling customer service. I tried calling the store. No one answers the phone. I needed to schedule a flu shot. But I can't get on the website I can't contact anyone I've emailed. No one answers anything. Some of the poorest customer service I have ever seen. This is the message I get on the internet whenever I try to go on their site: Access Denied

Wow. I have been using the pharmacy. 101 N China Lake BLVD Ridgecrest CA, for a year now and have never had an issue. They now must have two employees named Marie, as I called yesterday and spoke with Marie at the front counter. I know this is not the same Marie who works in the pharmacy, as this Marie was very rude and short with me. Never had an issue when dealing with the Marie in the pharmacy, but the Marie who answered yesterday from OPTION 5, needs to have an attitude adjustment. I will go in from now on.
Repeated difficulties month after month filling an Aimovig prescription with a manufacturer's coupon. Instead of finding out how to process the coupon, they kept sending me away and telling me the coupon couldn't be applied. One month customer service for the coupon called for me and told them how to process it. The very next month, they again told me the coupon couldn't be applied. I spent 30 minutes in the store asking Yunah the pharmacist to please just call the number on the coupon to find out how to process it. I was treated so rudely by Yunah and Thea the cashier, I never picked up the prescription. Instead I had it transferred to a local, independent pharmacy. I couldn't be happier. They fill the prescription each month without a problem. They get paid $500 and I receive my medication. Not only do I not use the pharmacy, I won't purchase anything in the store anymore either.
This place has really nice folks who are very helpful and friendly. Oh, and good prices too. They always ask me for my rewards card which saves me money. That's cool.
Rite Aide 15 th and State Street. Boise Idaho. Don't bother going to this store! The drive thru has been closed for a year. Pharmacists keep quitting. The techs Do Not know what they are doing! I waited 30 days for my sleep meds that they kept saying would be ready! And over two weeks for my antidepressant! It threw my body in a tail spin downward! My doctor can't get them to answer the phone! And they Do Not answer the phone to their customers! I've came here for over ten years! They are completely incompetent! You can't request a refill unless you get in your car and drive down there! Then it's a two hour or more mandatory wait! That's what the very unprofessional sign says as soon as you get to their counter?! Very unprofessional! Answer your phones! What a joke this place has turned in too! I switched all my meds to a different pharmacy, because I have had enough! Almost 2,000 dollars a month in prescriptions - You lost my business! Beware! Unfriendly staff and very incompetent! Just close your doors! Because you are offering a service to our community - that YOU CANNOT PROVIDE! IM SO ANGRY! No one should have to go without your meds!
Hello I'm having trouble... I got question by loss perfection on wed the 25 of this month. I punched in my phone number and got bonus points that were not mine totaling $38.00. I had to write a statement and sign a promisery not to pay it back... They sent me home early on the 25 the of this month over this... But here's the kicker my manager isn't telling me anything about this. Isn't that part of her job... And she thinks I don't like her. I wonder why I don't like her. I went over to the store in natrona heights PA and event texted her but still nothing. What kind of company treats there employees like this. It's really sad to know that rite aid dissect care about the employees... And add for the manager at the natrona heights store. You should be honest with the employees there... That part of your job... Just discussed by this is now 5:30 pm on Friday the 27 th of may. I called corp and left a message but no answer yet... Wtf
Mout Rite Aid stores appear decent, at first blush. Some stores, like in rural areas, are hosted by Draconian Store Managers, who treat subordinates badly, causing an apathetic employee who cares little for Rite Aid Corporate policies, store manager tasks, or, let's face it... CUSTOMERS! Keep this in mind when dealing with anybody treating you less-than in a Rite Aid store--or pharmacy.
Been going to rite aid for twenty years. Moved to Spokane area and what a difference in customer service. I am so disappointed in the people at this pharmacy, it's time to change
Right after Thanksgiving, I needed vitamins and some other things and I initially chose Amazon and had them in my basket to order at Amazon but after being unhappy with the checkout process there, I decided to see what RiteAid had to offer.
RiteAid was offering 30% off everything and free shipping if you ordered over a certain amount, and on certain vitamins, they were offering 50% off on another bottle, so I ordered 4 bottles of vitamins (I ordered vitamin C and I got another vitamin C for 50% off) and to get the free shipping, I ordered some lip gloss which I was about to run out of.
I was very happy with ordering online at RiteAid. Two of my vitamins were backordered but they should be here today or tomorrow but I got everything else. The shipping was fast and free and I got discounts on everything I bought. I thought their communication after I placed my order was good too.
I switched to the rite aid in Clifton Park after the Walgreens had closed down across the street. I must say this is the worst pharmacy I have ever used. I am unsure why they even ask for a pickup time or suggest one because it is NEVER done in time even when requested pickup is hrs later. I can submit a request at 8 am to be picked up at 2 pm and it won't be done until 5pm or later!
And yesterday I had a pharmacist I have never delt with before at this pharmacy become extremely rude and disgustingly disrespectful over a mistake THEY made! A note was supposed to be left at the pharmacy when the Dr had called for the refill and the pharmacist who had talked to the Dr never did or it was "misplaced" and instead of letting me explain the pharmacist(as I had said Ive never delt with her before) was extremely rude and spoke to me very disgustingly. When I asked her if she saw what was going on as a problem she rudely said to me "no actually I really don't, I'm not the pharmacist your Dr talked to I am the pharmacist who is on right now and who makes the discussions"
After this months refills are filled I will no longer be using Rite aid pharmacy for prescriptions or any of my other needs either! Between scripts never being filled when they should be even when on automatic refill I end up still having to call them because you can submit it yourself because there is no option to click on it because it should have been automatically filled and the way I was treated yesterday by whomever this new pharmacist or the fill in was Rite aid pharmacy will now be a no go for myself and my families needs!
I had to change to a different pharmacy due to moving. I have been going out of my way to be back with them. Store prices are great as well even when not on sale.
The people running this company are some of the most incompetent fools you could possibly find. Between marketing decisions, the way they treat both employees and customers, and the business decisions they make, you'd little kids were calling the shots. Instead of caring about quality service and making both customers and employees happy, they try to think up any possible thing to do to avoid addressing the issues. They constantly make decisions only to reverse on them in a matter of days. With just a elective business course in high school, I know that if you're making changes to a brand, you have to give some time to see the results, from a couple of months to a few years. Yet the only decisions they stand by and double down on are ones that not only don't make sense from a business standpoint, but they just don't make sense at all. They don't care at all about feedback and only want people to stroke their ego and tell them about how great they are. This company is a sinking ship and will probably be gone within a decade unless they clean house completely at the top and middle, and bring in people that don't belong in a home for crazy people.

Today at 3:00pm 9/16/2021, I went to the Rite Aid located ******* Wyoming St Detroit, MI. The purpose of my visit was to get a Covid 19 test. As I pulled up to the window, an employee my the name of DESTINY, said in a very disrespectful manner, " Did you push the call button"? I informed DESTINY, that I did not know about the call button and that I am here for a Covid test. As this employee walked away from the window, she gave me the middle finger. I immediately asked another employee to speak to the manage. Needless to say the manager did nothing to address my concerns.
I advise everyone, never to use Rite Aid again. PS, I have contacted Rite AId HQ to voice my displeasure. Worse drug store chain in the USA.
I'm on the automatic refill program. Too many times I have to call because they don't bother to fill my prescriptions. Call or email corporate and you never get a response. Now I get emails saying the request I made for a refill can't be done because it is not due yet. I never requested a refill and call and email pharmacy asking who requested the refill and as usual I get no response from the pharmacy or corporate. Plus you also have to go on their schedule because at 1:30 they close down and head to lunch. Then A few times when I went to pick up my prescriptions there is a hand written sign on the door that says they closed early. No notification and people driving 20 miles ask if this is a joke and then have to make another trip. Rite Aid couldn't care less about the customers. I had to go to their pharmacy due to changing insurance. I'll pay more and go back to my previous plan so I can use my tops pharmacy. Never had this problem with Tops. Over 1 year and they can not sync my prescriptions and I have to make 5 or 6 trips a months due to their incompetence. I'm done with them. It's like going through a maze at a clown show, Stay for away because Rite Aid has no customer service and they couldn't care less about you getting your prescriptions. They are a total joke.
Be aware the female management will follow you around for "having a big bag" when some simply just have to walk home or take bus so it's easier to hold and manage so my problem with that is they follow you isle by isle giving no personal space and when you have to adress it, it's extremely embarrassing and you feel singled out. Also, some staffing the pharmacy are rude and sarcastic(not all but some) at the Rite aid on 900 Mount royal Blvd Pgh, Pa, *******. I'm sure they get busy but if you call more than once to check status it just seems to irritate them and sometimes gets to the point of waiting all day for a script or even the next day. If you are working and can only grab your script at certain times you may have to transfer. No problems with male staff so far. I have severe anxiety disorder and can only put up with so much. It's the closest one I can manage to get to on foot so I have to now walk in feeling like a nuisance and thief when I am not. I really don't even want to post this but if you have anxiety beware.people truly have lost touch with one another and can be unaware of the customers feelings and void of friendly service. This is everywhere.
This Rite aide sucks they never have pain relief for my son. Always only a 160 ml for two weeks,maybe longer.why.THIS IS SO UNACCEPTABLE. IT'S NOT A NARCOTIC IT'S JUST ACETAMINOPHEN. BACK ORDER BACK ORDER THAT'S ALL THEY EVER SAY WHEN THEY GIVE US ONE LITTLE BOTTLE IT'S SUPPOSED TO LAST HIM 2 WEEKS..
Answer: My father has been using them for years. Now he is elderly and moved out of the area. It is up to me to get his scripts as he has moved to another area. I only have so much time in my day as i work, to see if his scripts are ready. Rite aid pharmacy in newburgh ny is horrible. They never answer the phone and if you go there not knowing if the scripts are ready you stand in line for eternity and get told come back tomorrow and maybe they will be ready
