From one woman to another, I am reporting to you that a male Hispanic manager was very rude to me today, Saturday, May 27,2023, in the Rite Aid at 220 East Grand Avenue, El Segundo, CA *******.
The manager was ringing up some items at a cash register when I asked if a code is required to use the restroom. He said he would have to open it for me, and I said you're the only cashier with people waiting. The manager proceeded to walk toward the restroom as I asked why customers can't use the restroom on their own which was previously permitted. The manager coldly replied that some people steal, and I asked what using the bathroom has to do with stealing. THE MANAGER REFUSED TO TALK ANYMORE. I commented on his rudeness, and he coldly told me to tell corporate -which I am doing now. Although a middle-aged Hispanic female employee was very nice to today, the younger Hispanic male manager was a jerk to me!
PLEASE DON'T HIRE RUDE RITE AID EMPLOYEES, ESPECIALLY MANAGERS! IF THEY WON'T CHANGE THEIR BEHAVIOR, THEY SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO KEEP WORKING AT RITE AID. SIMPLE AS THAT.

If you are legally blind, or have a disability that prevents you from driving, do not go to the Rite Aid at 5210 Oaklawn Blvd. Hopewell, VA *******; or potentially any other Rite Aid. I went to this Rite Aid in order to be tested for COVID-19. I had an appointment, but they refused to test me because I was not in a car, but instead was on a bicycle. I am legally blind and therefore cannot drive a car. I live by myself, and the only way I can get around is by biking, walking, or taking a taxi/Lyft/Uber. There is a chance that I have COVID, so, in an attempt to not spread it to anyone else, I decided to be tested. I selected the closest testing site to where I live and made an appointment. When I arrived, however, I was told that they would not test me because I was not in a car. I told them that I was legally blind, and therefore could not drive. Since I did not want to take the chance of getting anyone else sick, I could not take a taxi, Lyft, or Uber. They still refused to test me.
Apparently since I have a disability that prevents me from driving a car, I do not have the same rights as everyone else who can drive. I do not have the right to be tested for COVID. I do not have the right to keep other people safe and not be a speeder of COVID. Ever since going legally blind in my late-20s, I have struggled with accepting my new limitations, but I never thought that I would be denied the right to be healthy or to keep others safe from a virus that has killed millions because of it.
I shop at this site all the time and "Brenda" and her staff are wonderful. Good deals weekly and good customer service,plus self service kiosk.

I am greatly disappointed in the service I received today at the Rite Aid (#*******) in Suffolk, VA. This store is convenient as it is on the way home from work. Today I used your online pick up service for the first and LAST time. I followed the instructions in the email I received and experience the worse customer service I have ever had. First, I walked into the (which was an option or curbside). I "was" going to purchase more items once I picked up my order which unfortunately didn't happen. I walked up the counter where the "online pick up" sign was (as instructed in the email). The young lady behind the counter was sitting down talking to someone and never acknowledged me. Then another customer came up to the counter, she went over and checked him out as well as 2 other customers that stepped up after. When I asked if I needed to be in another line for my pick up, she laughed and said that I didn't need to come inside, they would have brought it out to me. She continued helping the other customers. When no one else was in line, she grabbed my order and pointed to the end of the counter without a word. As she was processing the order in the register she finally asked my name. After she completed my order and handed me the bag I asked to speak to the Manager on Duty. She proceeded to yell for someone named "T" and then told her a customer wanted to talked her. When the manager came from the back the girl never even directed her to me. I had to stop the manager from walking to the counter. After telling her the issue, she did say she was sorry but I don't feel anything will be done about this. So with all that said, I will be posting this on every media site I can because I work in retail and I would NEVER treat a customer like I was treated today. The cashier ID# is *******, transaction # *******, register #2, date and time 9/6/2022@ 404pm. Regardless of the convenience of this location I will NOT be using this store again and most likely any other Rite Aid.

I am a senior citizen who is overweight. I had to shop for my family and had an absorbent amount of items. In fact I spent over $ 500.00 today, August 10th, 2022. Maria the manager is always super kind PROFESSIONAL AND EXCEEDINGLY HELPFUL. She saw I was struggling to get items to the front area to check out. After waiting on her customers she said I will help you. HELP IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT MARIA THE MANAGER literally picked up my toilet paper, multiple paper towels packs kleenex boxes, detergents, many other items and took them to the front area, rang up everything with her team associate Mia and then Maria baged up and escorted me with my MANY MANY BAGS to my car outside. She placed Everything in my Trunk and backseats as I purchased so many items. I could of never completed my shopping tasks for my family without the EXPERTISE, KINDNESSES AND PROFESSIONALISM OF MARIA THE MAGNIFICENT AS I NOW CALL HER AND MIA THE MASTERPIECE HELPER. I dont know how I would of been able to do it without their strength and going THE EXTRA MILE FOR THEIR CISTOMER that's why I will return to this store Knowing Management like Maria and her team MIA really CARE. Answer: My father has been using them for years. Now he is elderly and moved out of the area. It is up to me to get his scripts as he has moved to another area. I only have so much time in my day as i work, to see if his scripts are ready. Rite aid pharmacy in newburgh ny is horrible. They never answer the phone and if you go there not knowing if the scripts are ready you stand in line for eternity and get told come back tomorrow and maybe they will be ready
