First of all I had problems with my order being shipped on a timely manner 3-5 business days! Then I just found out my order has been returned to rite aid and I'm waiting on a refund… which will take about 21 days! But it showed on FedEx tracking number my order has been delivered yesterday OMG WTF!
I AM NEVER EVER GOING TO ORDER FROM
RITE AID! To save you time and your money look somewhere else!

Bad staff attitude
March 11, 2020

I live in Brooklyn and use Rite aid somewhere in Fulton avenue Brooklyn. Today I went to recycle water bottles. A staff directed me to a young store associate who never cared a bit of my reason of coming to the store. While I was still waiting without attention another staff came and was equally on her phone talking to her friend laughing without any care for my need. When finally he finished on his phone he turned to the shelves n I repeated " excuse " three times before he stupidly turned n I told her why I was calling her. She snapped at me telling me she can't help me n I asked her who should I turn to for help and she asked her equally stupid colleague if she knows how to help n that one responded in affirmative. When she was done I repeated three times' thank you and she ignored me. Unknown to me the second girl happened to to be the manager! Both girls are arrogant selfish and should not be anywhere at a corporate place like your company. This has been going on for years with the first girl and I reported to a pharmacy staff who told me that it's been like with people reporting to them all the time.
Please you guys must do something. Investigate this incident please. I plan to call tomorrow to still make a verbal report.

Poor service
February 15, 2022

Not only the first time when I had someone stop to get my mother's prescription did they not give it to her so I had to find someone else to go get her prescription and they closed early and failed to mention that so now my mom goes without the prescription thanks for letting us down rite aid Holiday Park plum on William Penn highway PA

I have been asking rite aid if they could PLEASE MAKE THE ONLINE WEEKLY FLYER CAPABLE OF BEING ENLARGED. After filling out the virtually impossible customer service form (questions all lumped up? Check it out, it's AWFUL) all I ever get is a form letter back. I try to open a chat, "YOUR CHAT HAS BEEN CLOSED DUE TO NO AVAILABLE AGENT", REALLY? NO QUE? I live somewhere where the post office is so F'd up we don't reliably get flyers (sometimes not til the next week! Sometimes the mail truck comes twice in a day! Or on a Sunday!?)
One more thing, WHEN U R GOOGLING WHY YOUR PHARMACY (name, not location) SUCKS YOU SHOULDNT BE GETTING PORN SUGGESTIONS FROM GOOGLE!

I am so impressed by the fabulous care and consideration of the employees at my Rite-Aid located in Richboro.
Other drug stores/ pharmacies may be bigger but none compare to the quality and Red Carpet treatment I consistently receive from Rite-Aid in Richboro Pa.

On Friday September 2,2022,@ 2:40pm two White Pharmacists refused to give my son an online pre scheduled Covid-19 Booster. We were on time for the appointment. First, they said their was no proof in the computer system of the appointment. I explained, my son was a Special Needs adult. I showed the electronic confirmation on my phone. Then, she denied my son the vaccine because she claimed we were at the wrong address. I showed her the confirmation reflected the correct location. The Pharmacist asked the supervisor older white female Pharmacist if my son could get the Covid-19 vaccine booster. The Supervisor stated we would have to fill out a form. I completed the form on behalf of my son. My son was still denied the Covid-19 vaccine booster. Both Pharmacists were unwelcoming, cold, apathetic, and displayed poor customer service and are in need of Diversity training. I believe they would use any excuse no to serve us because we are Black. They should know that African American Blacks are more likely to die from Covid-19. My son should not have been denied under any circumstances. I will also notify the CDC of how we were treated.

As a woman of color, it's been my experience of being followed in stores beginning in grade school. I have a 30 year plus relationship with Rite Aid because they were plentiful in my neighborhood. Since the pandemic several retail stores are experiencing an uptick in shoplifting, however that doesn't mean that by the virtue of my skin color that I'm predisposed to enter any store with the intention of stealing. As a woman of a mature age to still experience the humiliation of being followed the minute that I enter a business is morally wrong but it's continuous. I recently, on two separate occasions visited the Rite Aid located at 1698 Pulaski Highway in Bear, Delaware where immediately entering the store I was aware of the store manager following me in every aisle by "pretending" to restock the shelves. I should have addressed the situation then but as I rely on public transportation I was afraid of missing my bus home. I have tried numerous times to call the cooperate offices to complain but have yet to receive a call back. This is a warning to any persons of color that despite having a long history of patronizing Rite Aid you are more than likely to be "shadowed " based on the color of your skin. The manager of the Shop Rite on Pulaski Highway, Peg, makes it her business to target people of color especially if you are Black. Be forewarned about where you spend your money if you want to be treated as less than...

Great Customer Service

I just wanted to share my experience at the Rite Aid store in SE of Washington, DC. MARIKIYA is always helpful, polite and serves me with a smile EVERYTIME I come to their store and she's working. Being in the Customer Service field I truly appreciate those who serve the community w/ a and that 's what they do as she does and shows!!!! The pharmacist at Rite Aid on Maple Avenue in Pennsauken is a blatant liar. Been stealing money from me for a few months now saying GoodRx hasn't been working properly. That's a lie! I go several times a month for medications. GoodRx saves me a lot of money. But the pharmacist refuses to enter current coupon codes from GoodRx. I contacted GoodRx to explain what was going on. Gave the agent my current coupon code that I showed the pharmacist not 20 minutes earlier. He called the pharmacist gave her the same code that I did and got a $7 and some change discount from what I paid. When I called the pharmacy back. The pharmacist told me the man from GoodRx told her that I gave her the wrong code. That's a lie. The gentleman from GoodRx gave her the same exact code I tried giving her not a half hour earlier. So she's lying about what the GoodRx people say. She must have lied to them about what I said. This is bull$#*!. She's either too lazy, or just flat out unwilling to enter new coupon codes every time I come for my medicine. Rite Aid has a contract with GoodRx. Rite Aid is not honoring that contract. The pharmacist is making sure of it.

Denied a COVID-19 Vaccine
November 10, 2023

I began this review earlier—pushed the "done" button before completing. I had switched ALL my prescriptions from a Wal-mart from Springfield, Oregon to the Rite Aud in Florence. It took almost a month to simply transfer my five prescriptions. Unbelievable. I made an appt. For my COVID booster vaccine October 9th, 2023 which I accidentally missed. So I rescheduled for Nov. 9th, 2023 at 7:00 pm (same today/time a month later. I walked in to Rite Aid at the correct time, finally! To my absolute surprise, the pharmacy tech couldn't find my name on the schedule. I showed her a photo of my appointment tday/time. She denied my appointment as there was "another lady who HAD the confirmation email for HER vaccine. I took a photo of my appointment so I wouldn't miss it! I had to walk out with no vaccine. I had waited two months! So, good bye, Rite Aid! You deserve the lack of business and a shut down! I'm switching back to Walmart! Also, I've needed my Albuterol inhaler for a week and a half. I contacted Rite Aid to refill. They indicated there were no refills; they would contact my provider. A week and a half later, no message; no inhaler. I had to go buy a Primatene Mist inhaler to breathe! Thanks for all your (lack of) assistance. Breathing is a necessary thing—it truly is a thing! Sorry. Rite aid. If there was a negative number I could give a rating, I would do by so! Good bye!

Given the wrong meds

I had two prescriptions authorized by my doctor. I understand ambien is a controlled substance and the pharmacy can't just hand it out. As I previously mentioned, my doctor had increased my dose of ambien as well as another medication. I was told by the pharmacist that she could not fill either prescription, one due to the controlled substance laws and one due to the fact that my insurance wouldn't cover the cost for 4 more days. I was extremely frustrated and had to ask her if I could pay out of pocket for the meds my insurance wasn't going to cover. She then asked me if I wanted her to call my psychiatrist and get the meds authorized. So basically, she was asking me if she should do her job. I replied yes. I reached out to the doctor and he sorted things out on the phone. She also told me that she had a lot of other people waiting. That wasn't my problem. My problem was that someone working in a retail store wouldn't help me and was denying me the meds prescribed. I understand her job isn't easy but I'm not well. I need my meds. On top of that, I was made to feel like I was wasting her time and also trying to pull one over on the system. I understand the regulations but this situation wasn't handled correctly. So yes, call the doctor. Authorize my meds from the specialist who prescribed them to me for my health. And stop being rude to paying customers who need your help. You weren't helpful, lady.

Have had to call 4 times just to find out where my ORDED IS, WHAT HAPPENED TO IT?. FED X does not Deliver to P O Boxes, Which RITE AID KNOWS. They got it ( the Order) Back on the 7th. They have my phone #, E-mail address, YET No contact at ALL. I SUGEST SHOP AT YOUR OWN RISK. SHOPPER BEWARE. THIS MITE BE OUT OF SOMEONES GARAGE. WHO KNOW'S. O BY THE WAY IT IS NOW THE 12TH AND I HAD TO CALL THEM TO FIND OUT THAT SOME DAY I WILL GET A REFUND!
