So before the old manager (DAL) retired, he was getting in the meds I need to take which are the little small 30 mg oxycodone tablets for me because I cannot take Rhoads pharmaceuticals.which are trash and I have the right to refuse those tablets I'm paying for them and I choose not to pay for that trash. Plus they do not work! They are filled with filler.that make me violently sick to my stomach. So because of that I have to drive 45 mins away to go to another rite aid pharmacy which get in the little small, oxycodone tablets in with no problem! Shocking! Because the pharmacist in Waynesboro Rite Aid lied straight through her teeth to my face about it and said they have a 5 year contract with Rhodes pharmaceuticals which may be true but that remains to be seen as they CAN order in other oxycodone 30 mg tablets because IF ONE STORE CAN ORDER THEM IN THEN WHY CANT SHE ORDER THEM IN AT THE WAYNSEBORO PA. RITE AID … because I'm now seeing it is a PERSONAL CHOICE of the black pharmacist that works there at the waynesboro pa. Rite Aid. It's all up to the pharmacist! How sorry $#*! is that! SO SHE LIES RIGHT THROUGH HER TEETH AND STRAIGHT TO YOUR FACE SO SHE DOESN'T LOOK LIKE THE COMMON BLACK $#*!ING $#*! THAT SHE IS! Which she is a stupid $#*!ing $#*!! Which pisses me off that I'm forced to drive 45 mins away to get the meds I need when I'm only 10 mins away from the waynesboro rite aid … how $#*!ed up is that! I hope you (the black $#*! pharmacist/pharmacy manager see's this review tooo! How shameful shameful shameful is it that the Rite Aid pharmacy in Waynesboro is not open on the weekends which I find that disturbing as every other Rite Aid pharmacy is open on the weekends. How disgusting is it that the people in Waynesboro pa have to be subjected to this kind of picking and choosing who and how they service people in this town. Just goes to show how $#*!ed up this retail chain pharmacy is run the new manager there SHOULD NOT BE A MANAGER. THATS FOR SURE! Oh and you have to make sure you pick up your meds Monday thur Friday because if you do not or can not pick them up during the week and you fail to do so you will be with out your meds over the weekend and an extra day because they are so slow at filling prescriptions there. It takes them all day to fill one prescription I in my life time have never seen any pharmacy run this way in my 60 years ever! And no one that works in that pharmacy ever greets you with a smile they all don't even look up when your standing at the counter for 5 mins waiting for them to even recognize that you're standing there, they always look like they're so uncaring, uninviting, and down right out rude rude rude! Especially the long haired blonde chick with the dark $#*!ing lipstick that scary when you go in there she always cuts her eyes at you like just because your on opioid medication's you should drop dead. I just wish so much pain on people like that that pass judgment before they even know someone or know what someone deal's with on a daily basis in their life with never ending pain so yes call me the mean me for wishing that on someone else but judgmental people that work inn pharmacies should not be working there and should be fired as far as I'm concerned! Including the pharmacy manager that lies to your face when you're supposed to be able to trust your local pharmacist! RITE AID YOU REALLY NEED TO TAKE A GOOD HARD LOOK AT THE WAYNESBORO PA. PHARMACY AS THE PEOPLE YOU HAVE HIRED TO WORK THERE DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE Community or the people that live in the community that have to access Rite Aid Pharmacy for their prescriptions because they completely $#*!ing suck! $#*! $#*! $#*! them all fire them all!
I have been getting my senior dogs prescription filled at Rite Aid at 4245 Holland Rd Virginia Beach Va and have had no problems until Jan 20,2023.
I took the prescription from my Vet to the pharmacy as usual explaining to her that the prescription needed to be filled in tablet form as the prescription stated and to please not substitute the liquid form as happened once before. The young lady took the prescription and looked up the account and showed the on duty pharmacist to ensure they had the tablets. After discussing it with the pharmacist she brought the prescription back to me and said they could not fill it because the Vet had not written my address on it and they could not write it on there. All of the prescriptions I have had filled there never had the address written on them so I asked if something had changed from last month when the same exact prescription was filled at the same exact pharmacy. I was not upset and just asked the question, the pharmacist then came to the counter and started telling me that the DEA had strict rules on this medication, to which I asked her if the rules had changed from last month to which she rudely said if you would let me finish and stop jumping down my throat. I told her I was not jumping down her throat but was asking a question. I told her to please proceed and she again stated that the DEA had strict rules on the medication, I again told her I was not questioning the rules but asking if the rules had changed since last month to which she replied no. I then asked if they only enforced the rules sometimes since they had never done it before.
She got upset and told me to leave and never come back. I was a little dumbfounded because I was just asking questions. I asked her for her name which she refused to give so I ten asked for the number to Coporate to which she replied I am sure you can figure it out yourself.
This pharmacist who had a name tag with Lisa on it was very rude and unprofessional and I will never set foot in another Rite Aid for anything and have already transferred all prescription to Walgreens.
On the way to drop the prescription off at Walgreens I did stop by my Vet and told him what just happened, he stated they never write addresses on prescriptions, he did so on mine to avoid any additional problems.
None
I've come to the point where I AVOID Rite Aid. I almost NEVER get prescriptions filled there because they are too slow, and many times DO NOT HAVE THE MEDICATION, which requires me to get the prescription transferred to another pharmacy.
HOWEVER, my wife and I used Rite Aid for COVID Testing yesterday, and the service that we received brought them to a new low!
I made appointments for RAPID COVID Tests, because my wife tested positive using a home test, and her employer required a supervised test for pay purposes, and although I tested negative, I was advised to get retested.
Requesting an appointment on their website was a 'soup sandwich' (aka, a mess), requiring the SAME QUESTIONS to be answered MULTIPLE TIMES.
Rude, and inconsiderate service:
1) The appointment notification gave NO instructions, and there was NO SIGNAGE at the store indicating where the testing was to be performed. When I went to the pharmacy to ask, the clerk was VERY nastym saying "I don't know who sent you, but all of our testing is drive through". I told her that i used THEIR WEBSITE, which provided NO information, and there was NO SIGNAGE at the store. SHE JUST GLARED AT ME AND WALKED AWAY! I DO NOT WORK FOR RITE AID, NOR DO I READ MINDS,. HER RESPONSE WAS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE.
2) At the drive upo window, we had to show our insurance cards and WAIT more than 20 minutes for them to verify our coverage DESPITE THE FACT THAT THEY required my insurance information, and upload my card when I registered for the appointment... THEY HAD MORE THAN 45 MINUTES TO VERIFY MY INSURANCE BEFORE THE APPOINTMENT... WHY DID THEY WASTE MY TIME PROVIDING ALL THAT INFORMATION TO REGISTER IF THEY WEREN'T GOING TO USE IT?
3) The technician who gave us the tests was EXTREMELY IMPATIENT, and bordered on being nasty.
4) When we completed the test, he said we would have the results in 3 to 5 days... when I told him that I ordered a rapid test, he just repeated "You will have the results in 3 to 5 days, GOODBYE"
We had to go to ANOTHER test provider to get more timely results... so Rite Aid WASTED several HOURS of my day. I WILL NEVER GO TO A RITE AID STORE AGAIN... even to get a pack of gum!
