The Stick up cams record more Green screen then they do actually footage after calling 3 times yesterday and 2 times today they say it's my Internet provider call them. It's just as easy to return the cameras then it is to keep calling ring customer support

Ring is the worst! Does not start recording until after 15-20 seconds so you see person walking away? Tried to resolve w customer service w no luck. Do not waste your time or money.

My plan was upgraded on Nov 12 and should have been saving videos for 180 days. My car was keyed a few days ago. There are only videos for the last two days. Ring has no answer but to say I "must have deleted them". They can't recover them or tell me what happened to them. I Haven't been in the account and it certainly hasn't been hacked, it has 2FA and a password that is far to complex to crack. I would NEVER pay for the camara's or this plan again. When I needed them, they were not there. They are keeping the money of course.

I have had a ring doorbell for quite some time and unhooked it for a few months due to a move. When I installed it again, the doorbell received a firmware update and then stopped working. I contacted customer support and after an hour of troubleshooting, they informed me that when a device has been disconnected for an extended amount Time, their firmware update will render their devices (Plural) useless. I am not kidding, she told me this straight out. She offered me a 35% discount to buy a new one. How nice of her. It's no wonder this company has a one star rating on just about every site on the Internet.

My Flood/Cam device failed due to corrosion of the cam lens. Interaction with support was poor at best, since my Food/Cam was discontinued my alternative was to buy a new one that was on promotion for $140. To "help out" they offered a 35% off coupon. What they failed to inform me was the coupon could not be used on a device that was on promotion. Frankly I was never happy with Ring quality and reliability shortly after purchase and will switch both my door bell and Flood/Cam from Blink. I am quite surprised with their attitude and the support person lack of product knowledge. Amazon get your act together

I loved my ring up until recently it isn't picking up anyone coming near or on my property. But it picks up cars riding back and forth. I've tried everything and it still isn't working. It bothers us because we're gone a lot from home and liked being able to see what's going on. Hopefully someone from Ring can help us with this issue.

I was gifted a Ring door bell for Christmas 2022.
By the time it was installed it was Mid Jan 2023.
So it has only been in place for 13 months.
And the finishing is peeling off the face of the door bell.
I called customer service for some concerns with such an expensive item barely lasting a year.
They do not stand by their products and only offer a discount to buy a new one...
I would never invest in one again without a better warranty.
Who wants a "worn" out looking door bell at their front entrance?

Modernity is something that I adore with all my heart. You know all these new fancy devices, smart homes this is my passion, for real.
When I was making a small refurbishment at home, I decided to pay attention to my old doorbell, and made pu my mind about replacing it with something way more contemporary.
This is how I faced this firm and they have helped me to make my dream come true. Battery video doorbell is something that I really needed back in the day... I'm thankful!

Transfer service.
February 24, 2024

Have ring for 5 yrs. I am a shared user and my husband was manage user. My husband passed.
Takes 15 days to transfer to my name as owner. NO EXCEPTIONS. Wanted me to provide a notary (?), death certificate, and a power of attorney. Tried to educate them on some things,, but all they did was read from a script. Horrible customer service. In the meantime, no doorbell or video and shopping for other companies.

If i had known that Ring customer service was so poor, I would have bought other equipment. I purchased a lifetime subscription with one of their cameras and they unilaterally took it away with no explanation, leaving me with no way to view recorded events, only live activity. Called Customer Service and was disconnectd once, then put on hold over 11 times after I called back, and waited nearly two hours for a resolution. Ultimately, their advice was to call the camera installer I hired because they couldn't help me. No wonder this outfit has ratings of 1.5 stars

1st thing they should do is hire a few people that understand English, then tell them to quit reading their scripted questions that do no good. 2nd maybe don't charge for $#*! that is out of stock! Bunch a f*cking idiots running customer service.

I am in my late 60's and live alone. I have a ring doorbell so I can see whether or not I should answer the door. My phone has become disconnected from the ring doorbell and I no longer have that available to me. In trying to get help with this problem, I have run into nothing but impossible navigation issues. Today's was a "Customer Service" person who would not believe that I was not getting the information she was trying to send to my phone. When I asked to speak to someone else, she hung up on me.

One of my ring devices continually disconnects from my Wi-Fi. I thought, "no worries," since I have an extended warranty with my plan, but I found out this is not the case. Why? Because you have to have the plan from day one, if not, then no warranty on devices. That doesn't make any sense. Why get an extended warranty if it is useless to ues?

This is the worst customer service I ever seen! You spend hours to talk to a person who is really not even a tech person and you ask to speak to Supervisor and they ignore your question and keep talking to try to help! But they have no clue on what to do or how to solve the issue

This company fraudulently charged my credit card and claims they never did, however I have a bank statement showing otherwise! I emailed them my statement and they still refuse to pay me back my money! Needless to say this is turning into a lawsuit!

I have had 1 Ring camera for a few years now. We have Basic service. The image and sound quality is so-so. The features are minimal and have not changed since i subscribed years ago. Took a long time to get it dialed in the way it was most useful for us. Today I get notice my bill is going up 25%. My service did not get 25% better, no features were added, the customer service rep I contacted could not provide a reason for the increase. Everything is automated, no labor costs involved. Basically no reason for price increase other than they can. When confronted with these facts, the customer service rep abruptly disconnected and ended our conversation. This is the trend nowdays, bend over and take it because they can. Add to that the terrible customer service and restricting the authority to make decisions to retain customers. Well Ring, you are not the only game in town and I have choices. I will be exploring those choices and may just toss your old tech in the garbage.

Sorry I did not read these reviews prior to spending $250 on a Ring Pro... this delicate flower stopped working conveniently 2 weeks after 1 yr warranty expired... save your money...
Never was happy with sensitivity and hours w service desk... just another way for Amazon to take our money. L]]

Bought a ring battery doorbell. I have a super wifi system... but it takes way too long to respond. If you expect to see someone at your door when you are home or are away from home forget it! By the time you can get live video they are long gone. If we had not bought the little chime units it would be useless!
Battery lasts about 3 weeks.
Really your are spending a lot of money for a remote doorbell! And saving the vids on the website is 30 bucks a year! A waste of good money for my purpose which was security...

It is a nightmare ringing Ring to try and get help. They use people who do not know how to help you, and will not pass you on to someone who can help. Totally disgusting set up.
The last three times I have rung for help the people forever check their notes, or go off and ask someone, only top come back and still not fix problem, know what they are doing.
The last person suggested things that were not even relevant, had no clue what was going on, total waste of time!

The new Ring Doorbell cam doesn't even work. Not with WiFi repeaters, not with voodoo spells, not with rituals involving rubber chickens... NOT. AT. ALL. I have never owned such a worthless POS in my life. The company should be sued for fraud and forced to pay back all of it's customers!
