Long story short, after 2 hours of speaking with a representative and several trouble shooting attempts later; including shutting my power off/on, off/on and climbing heights I didn't feel comfortable with, she disconnected my call! Didn't even get a courtesy call back. No accountability at all and wish I would have stayed with SimpliSafe
I just had the worst experience with Ring's "customer service" (I'm using the term loosely, b/c what they provided was not customer service). I am locked out of my account, b/c I have a new phone and don't have the old phone to login with. I spoke with a useless customer service agent and am still locked out. I provided my cell phone number and the email address associated with my account and repeated the verification code he sent me once I received it via email, and he still refused to let me access my own account. This was seriously the WORST customer service ever and a huge waste of time given that I waited on hold for 10 minutes to even speak to anyone. They may as well not have a customer service department.
Had ring 2 for more than a month now. Absolute junk. Do not buy. 9 out of 10 times it will not open live view. Purchase ringer never works after set up. People are gone by the time you know they were there. Save you money!
Ring Doorbell 2 going through batteries every three days. Have Ring Battery operated Cams that work great. No Customer Support as they never get back to your emails. Works great when there is a full battery charge but batteries run down way too soon. I would seriously suggest spending your hard earned money elsewhere.
Our Ring stopped working after about 10 months. Forget calling customer service and asking for help - we have called multiple times and waited three weeks. We keep getting the run around on a replacement. I wish we would have never purchased this terrible product. Go find another security system that is consistent.

It's useless. Someone rings the bell, I go to answer, it tells me can't connect right now. Picks up every damn car going by, but won't pick up a person on my porch. I'm hoping Blink will come out with something soon, so I can get rid of this piece of junk.
Ring Door bell worked. Quite well until we said we are not going to pay 3 pounds/month then they must have flicked a switch. After 2-3 months it stopped working battery life of 2 weeks even adjusting to the minimum setting.
When I 1st installed The ring flood cam, it worked great! By saying this, it was the 30 day free trial. After that customer service emailed me to fix my own problems... but my 30 day trial helped me everytime. Picks up the back of the person. Ya, that's gonna help with crime. Last night was the worst ever out of over 100x rarely picking anything up! My dog started barking so I tried hitting 'live view' with rings message stating 'unusual activity in front yard' Never came on nor did I get a video of what was going on! Maybe it'll happen again when my kid comes home from work and I'll miss my kid being dragged in a car! If I had to do it all over again, I'd NEVER have bought rings failure of a product!
Started out with a Ring 2 /professionally installed by security company as courtesy with security system. Alerted to every car down street and doorbell never worked. Customer support, upgraded to Ring Pro professionally installed at my expense. Does not work, no doorbell, though each chime shows connected. Installer could not get support. I cannot get support. Have paid for two Rings that don't work and are junk! NO SUPPORT!
Stay away from this company! Only reason they are in business is because of suckers like me and neighborhood organizations who give people worthless deals. No company support just total lip service! Buyer BEWARE
This was one of my worst experiences as a consumer. Forewarned is forearmed.

Purchased flood light camera. I have high speed internet. Usually takes 15-20 seconds to even connect with the camera, sometimes not at all, from newest Iphone. Then picture pixels and freezes. I was told by Ring customer service (which is poor) that Century Link is to blame, they lied to her so they are probably lying to me?! Wrong answer. I won't be giving Ring my credit card #

After have the device for two years it is constantly in need of being reset. It is offline more than on. We have boosted our internet by purchasing an extender and still no better. Wish I never bought one.
I had for two years a Ring doorbell. Worked well. Then they updated software and problems began. Finally purchased a new one from them. It's worse! When it does connect to my very good WiFi, it drops off after a few hours. Now it can't even get to the point of trying to connect. Hours with their phone support has resulted in nothing. Horrible!
Been fighting with these people for almost 2 weeks now trying to get an exchange for the wrong security cam. Obviously customer service is located in another country as everyone has accents. Have to constantly explain issue several times over just to find of that my exchange needs to be reprocessed. I am on my third time of my exchange being processed btw! Its ridiculous!
I have had my doorbell replaced five times in a year only to keep having the same problems over and over. I also bought a stick up cam which never works either. As a side note, if it's too hot or too cold at any point in time, it doesn't work either. So if you live in a climate that stays at 70 degrees you might be ok. But seriously don't waste your money. Customer service is horrible too.

Called customer service and let him know ( Ricardo) problem I've been having... doorbell stop working but device still ringing when pushed, got a round around that my doorbell was not compatible with ring device any longer? To make story short...; customer service including Supervisor from Jamaica was not helpful and I feel they are knowledge deficit regarding the product they are representing.
I dont recommend anyone to waste their time to call for support. Buy other product that have good reviews.
Decent cameras but if you ever need help the customer service is a frustrating spiral. Hung up on me 3 times. No refund. Have to beg to get your money back after returning. There are SO many other companies out there that have better service and great cameras. AVOID!
Ring app will not fully download and customer service unable to resolve. Their response, "We're working on a fix." It's been weeks and no follow-up as promised. (Originally promised 24-48 hours)
Long story short, I used to love Ring products and services, but they no longer seem to care. I own multiple cameras, and I am, for now, stuck with them
Advise: Research alternatives if you are considering. Ring is terrible from a customer support perspective.
I spent several hours to install Ring. Good luck trying to match door magnets. You have to match each connection based on indent in both connectors. Apparently, if you have a security package, you can ignore scanning bar code but added options required scanning. Very confusing. The instructions are useless. So, be patient and seek on line support. Of course on line chat support is difficult at best. I experienced five minutes between chats. Overall, I will continue to try but first expression is very poor. Keeping boxes to return if needed.
Answer: Most annoying product ever. Doesn't work but almost does. This makes you constantly fool with it thinking you maybe possibly actually got it to do something similar to what they advertise. But in the end you will be back to square one with a pricey piece of crap! Then after hrs of listening to customer services b. S. you realize you've been had. But it doesn't end there. You end up on sites like this trying to help others from making the same mistake. And trying to figure out when this hell will end!
Answer: It does not work the way it is presented on T. V. The inability to immediately respond "LIVE" to an event renders it useless.
