I had difficulty making reservations on line, so called. This gentleman understood my situation and solved my problem quickly.
After the website crashed several times I called the +1 800 number and was assisted by a customer service rep named Emilio who was incredible! He got me a better rate than the website and made wonderful conversation! Skip the site and call instead!

Adrian obviously knows his job very well. He went so fast I could hardly understand him and continually asked him to repeat. The worst part, he got the town wrong so had to change the location and redo the reservation after telling me it would be $162. I received the emailed receipt showing I was charged $248 for the new location! He did NOT discuss price before booking it!

We were looking for help in finding a room in the Cleveland area. Through this service we were booked at the Quality Inn near the airport. A total $#*!house and for $350. Normal price $100-$150. Disgrace.

I was charged in USD for a two stay in Ottawa. About 30% more than what was quoted. This is very poor communication. I thought I was calling a Canadian number but ended up in a US call Centre, not good. Now I need to waste my time calling my credit card company and the hotel in question.

After several days and also this morning's hour I have been able to confirm and pay for several rooms in Monterey Ca for my only sibling's burial in the Army Cemetery at Fort Ord. He was a Viet Nam infantryman during the worst period of the war and sacrificed a lot for our country. Answer: Call your credit card company and report it as an unauthorized charge. You may have to cancel your card and get a new card and card number, but it's worth it.
Answer: Impossible to get money back. They're just scumbags!
Answer: Yes, this company charges a fee, which it will not refund even if you cancel your reservation within minutes!

Answer: It can be, if its refundable reservation. Every reservations has a different cancelation policy. Mostly last minute reservations are not cancelable.
Answer: My experience is the same. reservations.com obviously nails a lot of unsuspecting Canadians this way. They don't make any attempt to help you out when they are confronted by this way of hosing us. Its a sleazy organization.
