The zipper on my dress didn't work, for $300 this is NOT worth it. The first dress was way too small, ordered a size up and the body fit but the waist area was gigantic. I send back both dresses and had to pay $16 to ship back, as well as a $30 for restocking. I just paid $46 to be disappointed twice and receive NOTHING. VERY ANGRY; DO NOT SHOP HERE.

I will gladly post all my screenshots that PROVE you guys are liars. Also, first you guys refuse to honor the pricematch by bold face lying stating that its not the same dress. Then changed the story by falsely claiming the site was a wholesale site. Then changed the story again stating there's no way you can verify that the dress is in stock. After proving that it was in stock. Then you changed the story AGAIN stating they are not an authorized seller. STOP LYING! You people are engaged in false adverstising!
If you keep responding with more lies, I will gladly post screenshots! Of my order confirmation from the other site, the price I paid for it, the price on your website, plus all the times you crooks changed your story via Chat customer service. I took screenshots of everything!

Not impressed at all, dress showed up, there were jewels missing randomly all over the top half and there was a small hole on the side. Also dress was very short.

We ordered the L by measurements and it was too small. Returned for the XL which was SIGNIFICANTLY bigger. It needs alterations but it's lovely. My daughter is happy.
I ordered a dress for my mom's wedding. First it was backordered, so I paid an extra $18 in shipping to make sure it would arrive in time. It gets here and the bust is way larger than expected. Obviously I buy a new dress, but now I can't return it because their return policy is only seven days! I am currently on day 9. I understand that I didn't check this (because if I had known I would have never bought such an expensive dress from them) so all I want is store credit minus the restocking fee. Not a lot to ask for unworn dress I got nine days ago! But they aren't even able to do that. I have never heard of such an awful return policy. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. Online dresses are tricky, and even if you are within the return policy you will lose money on return shipping and restocking fees. Not worth it! There are so many better options.

I order my dress online. It was a beautiful white dress that I was going to wear for my wedding. The dress shipped very fast via UPS. When I got the notification from UPS saying that my package was left in front of my door, that's when everything went wrong. I live on the first floor of a Bronx building, so obviously when I got home my package was missing. I called UPS to tell them my package was missing and they told me that I had to call the seller. I called promgirl to report my missing package and they opened an investigation with UPS. Well it turned out that because I had the option that they could leave packages on the front door "checked" they were not held liable. I went back to my UPS account to verify this information and their claim was false. I had never checked the option that they can leave stuff in front of my door. So I called promgirl back and asked for a replacement or refund, they said NO because UPs had "delivered" my package. A package that I NEVER received so I lost my dress and my money and Promgirl just washed their hand saying that they couldn't do anything for me. They lost me as a costumer. They didn't believe at all when I told them about my Ups account. They just dismissed my case without giving me my money back.

I purchased two dresses for my two daughters. Folllowed the sizes on the website. The tags are attached in such a way that thy cannot be zipped without breaking the plastic and having the tag fall off. Neither dress fit and both were extremely cheap looking. The zipper on one will not zip
I immediately called customer service. Told the rep the story. They had just been delivered so no possible way they were work to an event. Rep told me too bad - not returnable.

I went here to order my dream dress. I checked the sizing chart 119 times and I was so thrilled that the dress came in a double zero. It seemed finally I would be able to have a homecoming dress that fit! Alas it was not meant to be. I dropped $230 on a dress because the sizing chart made it look like it was going to fit. I measured, remeasured, it should have been perfect. Instead I got a 00 dress that looked like it was made for someone with DD boobs. 31.5 inch bust? No way. I'm never going to buy from this store again. I'm literally heart broken. When you save your hard earned money to make the first big purchase of your life, you don't expect to be cheated by a faulty size guide. These dresses are to expensive to be making errors like that. This site proves once and for all that you should stick to dress shopping in store only.

We got the wrong size sent back a week ago UPS and still waiting for my return code so I can get the new dress by next weekend. Very stressful! They want me to buy a new and will credit the account supposedly once they receive the wrong sized one.

We (my daughter and I) searched and searched and found that waist sizing always left her in between. Bust sizing and hip sizing were always perfect in the extra large. It seemed that all the extra large sizes ended their waist sizing at 34 1/2 in. Her size is 35 1/2. Which meant we had to size up. This caused us to have to have the bust altered. It really is a hassle buying the perfect dress and then having to have more work done on it. The dress was gorgeous and she looks amazing in it. I just wish the sizing were comprable to regular U.S. sizes.
My dress came so quick and it's even prettier in person. I wasn't sure about the size and thought it would be much to big for me, I'm a 100 pound girl only 5'2" I usually am the smallest in everything my mom convinced me to get the 1/2 rather than the 0 and I'm really glad I took the risk it fits perfectly, length and everything. I ordered this dress for a wedding. Good quality and the size was a true fit. I'm giving this a review 4 stars because I had to return the dress and I had to pay the shipping. With all the money these dresses cost, shipping should be free for returns.
Its too bad it costs $40 to try on two dresses. Selling specialty dresses is difficult but that is ridiculous especially when returned with the one week time frame. Looking at the number of one star ratings on this site Prom Girl should really look at the lost business in the future. Find a way to sell a good product and have a realistic return policy. Don't except worn returns. But the honest customers far outweigh the dishonest and you are losing them. I would be very careful before I would purchase again and cannot recommend to anyone.

This site has many dresses that may only be returned for store credit (all of the nice ones). They charge you a 10% restocking fee on dresses you want to return as well and they charge you $8 for the packing slip as well. I am even more infuriated with the fact that I received a damaged dress and they still charged me a fee of $55! Selection of dresses is nice but unless you absolutely know what dress you want and you know what size works DO NOT BUY DRESSES FROM HERE

The dresses marked as Sale Items will be returnable for store credit and it will state “This is a sale item and may be returned for store credit only!” on the product page. Please note the option for store credit would not have a restocking fee deducted and it is valid for 5 years from when it is issued. According to your order it has been noted that the product received had problems with the beading and the return fees can be waived once inspected at the warehouse. I ordered a dress off this website and it's fabric is absolutely AMAZING and super soft. Although to be honest the colour came slightly darker but that is understandable as they try to show the best of the dress using bright lighting. Overall highly recommended website!
I purchased a dress as a gift for my sister. It didn't quite work out but because it was a gift, that realization occurred slightly after (4 days) the 7 day return authorization date. The tags were still intact and the dress had been tried on once. I explained the situation in an e-mail and, after 4 days of waiting, got a response that they could not accept a return past the 7 day period with no further acknowledgment or apology about the inconvenience. This is a completely inflexible policy and you can be sure I will not be using this company again.
