You have 5 days to return from the date of the Fed Ex package date even if you do not receive it... we spent $260 on a dress that we now cannot return and it's still in original packaging. I would shop other places - this site is really expensive with an intentionally short return policy (the shortest I have ever seen) so you're screwed and no exceptions. Don't order from this site.
My daughter ordered a prom dress from them. Unfortunately it didn't fit so she sent it back the next day. They take forever handling returns and they only giving store credit. My daughters prom is in two weeks…she's still waiting for store credit so she can't order a new dress. She is absolute devastated…and she's getting no help from their customer service department. PromGirl are going to ruin her prom because she will not be able to get a new dress in time, and she can't get her money back so she can go and buy her dress another place. I bought 2 homecoming dresses for my daughter to be sure of the size the end of September. I returned one and they received it 10/10/2022. It is now 12/13/2022 and I still have yet to receive my refund! 30 business days they say. I have sent several emails because you can't speak with anyone on a telephone! And to no avail I'm still waiting on my $200 refund! Never will I use this place again
Bought a dress for my birthday party. Grandma got covid and passed away a few days ago so I had to cancel my party. I requested a return label a day too late. The "manager" that had called me back said "sorry for your loss but there is nothing we can do" and hung up on me. Don't bother with this company.
My daughter's dress did not fit even though we checked her measurements before we ordered. We then complied with their return policy and they will not refund the money so I am out $350. The policy was not clear that I would not get a refund. What am I going to do with store credit?
We ordered a prom dress. Due to issues etc (hospitalization) I messed up in returning dress on time. Plus the bodice does not match quality of dress and would have to be modified (at our cost) For 30 minutes I pleaded with a "Customer Service Agent" who would not listen etc. But recite their rules. DO NOT PURCHASE from this company if you need service or understanding. I understand now why their ratings are below 4 stars now.
The discrepancy is exactly why I'm not entitled to return it, and i did all the weirdo steps you demanded like have a textile expert look at it and confirm that it was not at all the material or color i ordered, and yes, my card did side with me given all this.
I ordered a dark red-maroon satin dress as pictured on their site, and they sent me a bright purple dress in a rough/matte finish (not satin). They refuse to refund me although the item is totally different than I ordered because it was marked as 'final sale,' and they refuse to acknowledge the law that even if an item is marked 'final sale,' it still has to be the actual same item advertised and ordered, which is it is not! I never got the item I ordered yet they refuse to refund me.
They also broke the timely delivery law yet refuse to refund me on these grounds either. The shipment was delayed past arriving 30 days from the order being placed and then they said it would be shipped by 2/25, but it actually wasn't shipped until 3/1 and they did not provide me a second update on the late shipping that I could approve or deny, but they also refuse to refund me on these grounds.
I've been going back and forth with them for weeks now on what should be a simple matter since it's the basic law in the US.
Be sure to request RMA within 7 days or you are completely out of luck. Customer Service is not at all understanding or helpful. I offered to pay restocking fee or store credit and they said flat NO. Even the Director of Customer Service didn't care.
Dress ARE NOT standard sizes. My daughter is a standard size 8. One dress was way too small and the other was small in waist and big in bust (and she has a bust).
I wasn't home when my daughter's order was delivered and she was away at college so I didn't even open until she got home the following weekend to try on graduation photo dresses. Neither fit, and I filled out request for return authorization. They asked for more information, even though the information they needed was on the request as I filled out the form on their website. They stalled, and now won't accept my return. Even if they did, they only give store credit. I will never have my daughter order here again.
My daughter spent $218 on a prom dress. The buzzer system in our complex doesn't work so I left a message to call when being delivered. The delivery company never called and tried to deliver 3 more times then sent the dress back to the company. They wouldn't let my daughter change the delivery address and wouldn't issue a refund. They told her she could have store credit. We never even touched or saw the dress and why on Earth would we ever buy anything else from such a useless company? DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!
I would NEVER purchase a dress from a store that only offered store credit. They only offer you that for 10 days and then after that you get zero back! Horrible store policy and the employees are very rude!
They have very rude costumer service. I would not recommend at all. They shipped my dress later than 1-3 days. I then got my dress late and am not allowed to return or get compensated for it. It was my senior prom and I had to go out the day off to get a dress that I would actually have in time. They did not care at all and do not help.
My daughter's dress had the "security ribbon" attached in such a way that she couldn't try the dress on without cutting it on one end. That voided their so called Return Policy even though the tags were still on the dress and it was obvious that it had not been worn and was in a SMOKE FREE home. I had to pay to have the dress returned to me. I will never purchase from them again.
Canceled my order without notifying me, and when I reached out they said I had "a chargeback on a previous order" and they were no longer accepting orders from me; however, I made my account solely to order the one dress and had never previously ordered from them. They neglected to respond to my inquiry about the chargeback. My mother ordered 3 dresses from them a few years back from a different account. Only two dresses came in, and the box was undamaged. Support was rude and swore that all three dresses were in the box and basically called my mother a liar. They refused to refund her for THEIR mistake. DO NOT use this website unless you want to get SCAMMED!
The dresses were not true to size. They were too small. You only have 3 days to return for full refund. I could not get a refund since I did not call with in three days. Who has such a crazy return policy. NEVER order from them again. Stuck with two expensive dresses that cannot be worn.
Ordered a dress from here, it shipped and arrived fine, but I'm really not happy about the 7 day return policy. Very unreasonable in my opinion. There are plenty of other options out there and I am not going to use them again.

This company has no idea what customer service is. There's an absolute lack of communication and shipping is slow. Pulling teeth would be easier than getting a refund or returning anything. Not happy.

Its too bad it costs $40 to try on two dresses. Selling specialty dresses is difficult but that is ridiculous especially when returned with the one week time frame. Looking at the number of one star ratings on this site Prom Girl should really look at the lost business in the future. Find a way to sell a good product and have a realistic return policy. Don't except worn returns. But the honest customers far outweigh the dishonest and you are losing them. I would be very careful before I would purchase again and cannot recommend to anyone.
