The dress we ordered was nothing remotely like the color pictured on the website and the sizing is much smaller than standard manufacturers. Their customer service reps were rude and unrelenting. I offered to ship the dress back in exchange for another size larger (and pay a re-stocking fee) and they refused. I did all of this within 12 hours of receiving the dress. I am absolutely appalled at the responses we were given. DO NOT order from this company unless you are okay with major color variations and be sure to order a larger size than you normally wear. I will NEVER patronize them again... and will be sure to let others know about our dissatisfaction... Kari Wright Warren

I bought a couple of dresses here. The last dress I bought was way too big and did not know they have only a 7 day return policy. The company is located in India, also didn't know that, so you can get no management help.
Don't buy from here online, if it does not fit you are stuck with an expensive dress, they will not work with you at all on returns or exchanges!

My daughter's entire prom wear came from prom girl. No one else had her dress and she was a big hit this year. Everyone love her dress down to the shoes, jewelry and clutch. We will be shopping here again next year. Ten thumbs up!
My step-daughter ordered from the plus-size section. She is a size 16. The dress came 5 inches too small. When we called to get a replacement, they insinuated that she was "too large" for their dresses. WHAT?!?! You DO NOT speak to teenage girls that way. Shame on you.

They will not return anything even for a store credit if you don't call right away! Then when someone was finally on the phone they were rude! The dresses are not sized correctly! Their website has the sizes way wrong

However, I'm glad I took the plunge because the dress I got is absolutely perfect for this year's Marine Corps ball. Doesn't get any worse than this. The dresses I ordered are extremely low quality and look very cheap. In addition, they came in all wrinkly, and when I tried to return them, I was told that they were not in the original condition. I requested pictures of new orders to prove my point, but with no luck. This is an awful business -- avoid at all costs.

While it was listed as a "final sale" item, the customer service team worked with us, understood we didn't have time to wait on another replacement dress for our event --- and refunded us the full price of the dress. Promgirl really surprised me with how quickly my dress was delivered! Also the fabric and quality of my dress is amazing so much better than expected! It got true to size which I find is an issue with other companies. My only problem was that my dress seemed to be made for someone abundantly blessed up top, instead of the "average size" though that's nothing that a quick alteration can't fix... Though the price did put me off at first I can tell that the product was really worth it! Thank you promgirl!
Took a bit of a risk when ordering my senior year prom dress from Promgirl, a site I had never heard anything about before. Shipped it all the way to Sweden and was a bit nervous waiting for it to arrive since I had already, before getting it, payed about 200 dollars. A month later it arrived and I could not be more happy with it. So nice when it comes to fabric, fit and details. Looks like an much more expensive dress than what it actually is.
Also great customer service, everything worked perfectly and I even got the dress one month in advance.
After reading a lot of negative reviews, I was very hesitant to order my prom dress from here. However, everything went absolutely perfect and I didn't run into one problem. This website has a great "prom under $200" section and I found the most beautiful dress for only $120! I ordered it, and it came within two days! The dress looks exactly as pictured and the material is very well made! The only thing I would say about this is that you should order a dress a size bigger than you actually are because they tend to run small.
I purchased a dress as a gift for my sister. It didn't quite work out but because it was a gift, that realization occurred slightly after (4 days) the 7 day return authorization date. The tags were still intact and the dress had been tried on once. I explained the situation in an e-mail and, after 4 days of waiting, got a response that they could not accept a return past the 7 day period with no further acknowledgment or apology about the inconvenience. This is a completely inflexible policy and you can be sure I will not be using this company again.
Don't order there if you are not 100% sure that you will keep the merchandise. We were stationed in Germany when we ordered a couple dresses (picking the right size) for my daughter for prom. We sent 2 dresses back because they didn't fit and "ate" the restocking fee and all that stuff. The total store credit we received was $ 180.80 which according their return policy is only good for one year. We didn't have no need for a dress within that year. Make a long story short: I could have flushed that money down the toilet, because they took the returned merchandise and our money! I am wondering if their is no consumer protection for those kind of practices!?
Dress was more beautiful in person than in the ad! Arrived within a week of order. Fit was near perfect (I expected a minor adjustment would be needed). Gorgeous crystals shimmering on the sheer mesh back and across the top front, with shimmering, soft pink short gown. Stunning!

Second year my daughter has ordered from this company. After last year's debacle, I swore we would never use them again. Well of course, this year, she found a dress that we paid two day shipping for to have it in time. Guess what?! Not coming in time. Apparently, two day shipping doesn't really mean anything!
