The driver didn't bring 1 of my items. I noticed after the driver was gone so I file a dispute on their app. They gave me a credit in the value of the item. I usually do not use Postmates because I feel they are more expensive then other food delivery services. I only use them this time because the other services didn't offer the restaurant. Now, in order to for me to get my refund I have to order from the again. Of I forgot to add, they gave me less the 30 days to use it. I really don't want to use them again because I can use another company cheaper. After I get my refund I WILL NOT USE THEM AGAIN.

The Worst

The one good thing was Taco Bell which made my wife happy. Other then that, food not delivered correctly, Food arrived late where it made the restaurants look bad, driver would not knock and my neighbor had to let me know food arrived and of cause with missing items as driver just drops off. And with that when you call for refund due to all above Post Mates do not care even though restaurants like KFC tries to fix everything and you dispute with credit card you still have to pay no matter what it seems in the real world which makes POST MATES bad.

In trying to find out why my restaurant is not showing up on customer searches I am on hold for an hour and a half. Finally I get a rep who decides she doesn't like my tone and scolds me about being unprofessional. The whiny snowflake can't be spoken to as an adult. Forget the reason that I'm calling is about the unprofessional service I am getting in the first place. 2 hours later problem not resolved and a pitiful tantrum from a whining child. I guess it's my fault their system doesn't work right and I... the customer am a bad person for attempting resolve.

Bad drivers.

I ordered McDonald's last night through them. Everything was going great until the driver delivered my order to the wrong doorstep. I emailed and got refunded instantly thankfully. But then I heard something outside about an hour and a half later. I open my door and there sits my order, cold, gross, and extremely late. The guy didn't even knock to let us know he delivered it. $#*!ing ridiculous. I understand if you couldnt find my apartment but message me, dont leave it on the wrong door step then try giving it to me over an hour after it had sat outside in the cold.

I'm currently working for Postmates and they treat us as if we don't have responsibilities and they will have you available but pull others and give them an order/orders for same location you are sitting. Pure waste of time and what they pay you is atrocious and some one needs to regulate them.

Terrible.

I wish I could give them 0 stars. 3 bad experiences in 2 days. I will NEVER use this app again, not even to claim the bull$#*! credit they gave me which covered less than 50% of what they owed me.

I opened a Postmates account and made a $ 50 cookie order from a local bakery. The default on the program was (strangely) pick-up, which I didn't know and didn't want so I immediately cancelled the order. I emailed Postmates, a few days later then called them. They initially credited me back my $ 50 then immediately billed me again for $ 50. Postmates says the bakery got the money and that I waited too long to get my money back. That's funny I waited because I thought they were going to credit my bank! So Postmates basically stole $ 50 from me and made up some excuse for their theft.

I don't know who is making up the rules at Postmates but its some devious person who doesn't want to consider the customer at all. It's all about Postmates not about the customer, who runs a company like that?

I placed an order from Popeyes, total with delivery was $23, I added a $4 tip for the driver. The order has never been delivered, so I emailed them, they refunded me $23, but never refund me the $4.00 tip! I called them; I was told they the tip will never be refunded! So I paid $4:00 tip for an order they didn't deliver, what should I call this? Steeling?

I recently tried using Postmates and my order was never delivered. We even saw what we assume to be the delivery driver drive up to our house and then turn around without dropping off our food. We reported the issue and were told that we would receive a "credit" for the cost of our order to use in the future. We then attempted to use the credit for another order. This time, we followed the delivery driver on the app once it said our pizza was out for delivery. However, the delivery driver was on the other use of town. We tried contacting the driver to see where our food was and received no response so after waiting 2 hours for pizza, we cancelled the order. I again was given a "credit" to use for a future order. I have been hesitant to use it with the fact that 2/3 orders made with this company were NOT delivered. I recently went to order again so I could use my credit/money and be done with the company, but to my surprise, my credit has expired. I reached out to the company and was told that because it's been expired for more than 2 days that they are unable to refund or return my credit to my account. This is theft. I want my money refunded. ($36.27)

Over the past two weeks, I have had nothing but bad experiences when using Postmates. First bad experience: ordered lunch for myself and a coworker. After 45 minutes of waiting, I get a notification saying that there was nobody to pick up our food and that our order has been cancelled. Seriously?!? How does this happen? Second bad experience (last week): the person delivering our food went to the wrong address and when she finally made to the correct address, I noticed a very strong smell of body spray in her car. When I took my bag and walked away, I noticed that the strong smell was all over the food bag like she had spilled perfume on our order! Ugh! Then today, we tried once again to place an order... got our food items all picked out, pressed the "place order" button, and got a black box that said this restaurant is too far away and cannot be delivered to your location. Don't you think Postmates should limit their restaurant selection to those that are in their delivery vicinity, or would this make too much sense?!? I'm done with Postmates. Truly an awful service.

We've quit patronizing at least 2 restaurants we've loved for years because they made the terrible decision to use Postmates. Repeated late, cold, and wrong orders and no attempt to make things right. Tie your company to them and you'll sink together.

I paid cash at the location during pick up but my card was still charged. Since the transaction took 3 days to settle on my card they refuse to help in any way (they will only help you within 2 days of the order) and had the audacity to say they "hope they can make it up to me next time". They stole $50 from me, plain and simple. Beware they will rip you off and provide awful customer service!

Update: after venting my complaints on postmates facebook account I was refunded my money and Offered to keep my account open with the promise to educate their employees on the issue. I do hope they follow through with educating their employees. I didnt care about the refund by that time but just wanted them to recognize the inconsiderateness. They have apologized and thats more than I can say for other companies who disregard the accommodations needed for disabled individuals.
It is a huge service for people like me who arent that mobile to have food delivered quickly. So I will give postmates another try.

I dont even want to give 1 star. I have specific instructions in my order notes to leave my delivery at my door if I do not answer right away. My disability makes it impossible to move quickly. Since I put that note in my account I have ad the best postmate employees accommodate me until this morning. This postmate left and didnt deliver my order. I assume they left because thats what they claim. When I reported my missing order to postmates they decided I would receive a refund for my food. So I paid for food not delivered to me when the postmate didnt do their job properly. I further complained in response to that email and basically was told sorry for your frustration but they cannot help. So I cancelled my account. Its frustrating dealing with a disability. Its even worse when companies dont care and take advantage of those situations.
Those with disabilities use someone else!

The play the blame game when refunds are required. If a customer order is not correct due to postmates and the restaurant errors (Who Dat Wings in New Orleans), both companies still try to blame the customer & refuse to provide some type of refund where no food was purchased or given to the customer. Along with that the server cross contaminated the food, unsanitary practices. Now I have to get a lawyer involved to obtain a refund least then $50.00. I will never use this service again or purchase any food from Who Dat Wings and More #2 in New Orleans.

I waited to give this review; I wanted to give Postmates the opportunity to rectify the issue, but since I haven't gotten a response, or even had my concerns acknowledged, I will vocalize my concern in an effort to prevent others from having to experience this.

I placed an order through postmates on 03.10.2020 for a 48 count box of benedryl from Rite Aid. Postmates reported that the Benedryl was $9.79, bringing the entire order (only Benedryl) to $23.90. Everyone in my house has allergies, I am absolutely familiar with the price of Benedryl, so I know the actual price is a little over $6.00. Now that is neither here nor there. We needed the Benedryl, so I wasn't going to make a big deal about that.

I got called away from my home for a work emergency, so I wasn't there when the package arrived. I returned about three days later. My sitter had left the box in the Rite Aid bag. She attached a note, reporting the box had arrived, but there was no Benedryl in the box. At that point I opened up my Postmates app, I noticed that Postmates not only did not provide the product, but they had also billed me $36.90, claiming that the 48 count box of Benedryl was over $24.00! This actually caused my account to overdraft, and I received a nice liittle overdraft fee, bringing the total of this empty box of Benedryl to over $60! To add insult to injury, the process to reach out to get help rectifying the issue is tedious and aggravating. My email address had changed, but I couldn't change it in the Postmates system, I would have to open a brand new account. Though I never received ANY correspondence from the company, my request for assistance in rectifying the issue had been marked "resolved." The entire experience has soured my attitude toward Postmates. Even if they had responded to me, in my correspondence I informed them that I could no longer be reached at that email on my account and I included my new email address. I want to give them ZERO STARS!

This is about the 5th time in a couple months that postmates is 30-50 minutes off of their delivery window. I have written and shared the feedback. Tonight not only are they currently looking to be over 30 minutes late but my driver just disappeared from the screen, after picking up my food, and is now "finishing up a delivery on the way". Done with postmates.
