I ordered from a restaurant not knowing it was pickup only. I canceled my order immediately and was still charged for the order. When disputing the charge the answer I received was that they can't refund me because I needed to call the merchant to cancel. I was never told that I needed to do that. This is the most ridiculous company. Never using again. **Proof that the order showed canceled below.
I ordered my food from Applebee's at 8:20 pm and received a notification via text of my order being processed and should arrive by 9:13. I started tracking my food at 9:14 because they still didn't show up and the tracker time went to 9:22. Finally at 9:30 I decided to call because now the time time changed to 9:30 and now I'm getting upset because it's very late and I haven't received a text or call. Postmate customer service calls the driver and the the drivers phone is going to voicemail. After waiting all this time they had to cancel my order. Of course they stated they will reimburse my money back to my account. The driver is some how missing? The driver probably has the food and eating it and decided not to deliver. Never again will I waste time on postmates.
For some reason many of Postmates drivers have issues finding my house, and deliver it elsewhere. I don't live in the boonies, it is very simple to find it. Yet in the past month, today was the 3rd time I didn't receive my order. They have the nerve to tell me that I won't receive a refund. How about they contact their drivers and find out what happened! Be careful using them, if customer service won't honor mistakes made by their drivers, what good are they?
Rebecca from the Jacksonville, Fl was to deliver my meal. The restaurant said it was picked up and postmates said the food was delivered to my door... NEVER received it! I tried to contact the deliverer and first she ignored me and didn't text me back, then I tried again and she blocked me-couldn't get through. I contacted Postmates who offered a credit-I requested a refund instead as I will not use again. They did offer the refund right away. REBECCA NEEDS TO BE FIRED!
So, they don't even have real customer service people (or if Aidan R. And Serenity M. Are real people, they sound like robots!). I had an issue with an order that I admitted was my fault, but I was told to contact them and I would get a refund. Didn't happen. I understand that it was partially customer error. But there's no phone number to try and explain. And even though they say you can reply to the email with further questions, they just send the same stupid automated message.
Y'all suck at customer service - you made it "in-app" to be helpful - to who? You? If I even see your name again, I'm leaving a bad review.
Orders are rather wrong or incomplete.
We orded from del rancheros in mwc. When the food arrived I said I wanted to check to make sure are order was correct but the drivers passenger got back in to there car and drove away. And long be should they gave us the wrong order. With no way to contact postmates directly expect throw reviews. Tired of paying monthly and them screwing up orders all the time can't even give any star rating at this time. Thats the receipt for the wrong order that we received

I am a fleet driver for Postmates. Yes we are underpaid but that's what good delivery service comes in for tips. I've never cropped or had food ruined by my driving. I always go over the order when I receive it and if the receipt is correct. I lay out a sanitized Mat so I don't have to put the food on the floor with the new social distancing rules. I sanitize after every order and my mat I lay down. I know all delivery services are different with drivers. Some of us take pride In our services and try to make a smooth delivery for all parties.
Postmates is the most worst horrible service, just stay away from them. App is the most primitive. Do not even tell yourself "let me try just once", U will get robbed.
Never got my delivery. 3 days later they claim it was delivered. Can't reach a person to help. Going in circles. I have tried reaching them on the phone. That doesn't work. I just want my money back. This is the worst company I have had the displeasure to deal with. They are crooks and liars.

I tried ordering two sandwiches from Capriotti's out here in Las Vegas. When I was getting ready to pay I saw the bill like $40 bucks. So I hit the button to submit payment then it changed to $98.44 I would never pay that much for 2 sandwiches. It changed to four for some reason and when I contacted the company looking for my refund since I cancelled the order it's still charging me $98. So your just going to steal my money I cancelled the order because I only wanted 2, and the price was crazy. I would never order from these company again. Nobody cares I contacted the BBB to see if they can help me at least get a refund.
Horrible drivers and costumer service. They need to be more careful hiring employees. They always get lost or delivers wrong items. It's incredible that when something is wrong with your order you don't have an opportunity to call the driver for an explanation because the information of your driver disappears as soon as they think "you already have your order and everything is correct" This company has the WORST EMPLOYEES EVER... I am shocked! I ordered online from Jersey Mike's. Somehow in the process my order switched to Postmates. I do not have an account and I was picking up my order (so why would I need Postmates.) I entered my credit card thinking it was going to Jersey Mike's. When my husband picked up the order he paid for it. Only when both businesses charged me did the mistake become obvious. I just now reached out to Postmates to ask for a refund. They refused! Are you kidding me! I sent them a document showing I had paid at the store. They still refused. I did not have a Postmates account and will NEVER consider it now. Beware of terrible customer service!
You steal hardworking people money and then blame it on someone else. The whole point in delivery option is to have the food correctly timely safe manner delivered to your home. Thus company is the ultimate CON artist, their bonus program is a rip off. They offer bonus for. A number of deliveries, then subtract the money you earned during the period suggested from the bonus and call it adjusted incentive. They word it as bonus them you don't get the bonus. We quit. We actually received 154 and change.
On https://postmates.com, I was going to buy something from Walgreen until I noticed that site was unsecured. This means anyone can see what you are doing while on the site even your bank information. I hope everyone is aware of this. I just had my account deleted. It is probably why so many customers are complaining because something is shady with the site. I will deal with Doordash or Grubhub at least when I am on the site, it is secured all the way to paying with my bank card. All I know is you have to watch your browser up in the left corner to make sure that the lock symbol is there because I was on a site where it was unlocked meaning the site I am on is not secured. I do believe there may be another site out there trying to get people's information. I cleared my history and went on another browser and I saw the lock is secured even when I acted like I was going to order something, the site seems secure. The site just sometimes looks questionable to me. I will on the sites that I know and that is Doordash or Grubhub. So far I have not an issue with this type of unsecured with their sites at all.
I ordered using this service on Friday May 8th. After waiting 40 minutes with no communication, I called the restaurant. They informed me that the service was still trying to find someone to deliver my order and confirmed the food was still there. I went online and cancelled at that point. I have been unable to obtain a refund from them and I've been trying for almost a week. $21.09 gone because of their delinquent service. Please do yourself a favor and use door dash.
If I could give zero stars I would. Please don't use Postmates! I have only ordered from Postmates two times and I have had problems both times. The first time, the meal was delivered to the wrong address. The second time, majority of the order was missing because the driver only picked up one out of two bags...

Answer: Their app has all type of glitches and issues they did the very same to me I didn't even sign up for their free trial but I am now having to dispute a charge of 95.88 on my account. I was charged for orders I never got and also I reached out to them multiple times never got anything back. They actually put on the app that the order was resolved when I have never spoken to them this company is a fraud and I do not know why they are still in business! I'd say remove your card information.
