Ordered ceramic bird bath. Packed lousy and arrived broken into pieces. Ordered a large purchase. Shipping date vague then said shipped. Never got it. Emailed. Said oh the shipping people lost the order, really? Did say they are crediting my money but in the meantime they had my money for like three weeks. Would never order again no matter how nice they appear to be. Surprising they are in business as it appears I'm not the only one with shipping woes.
I tried to buy a $2000 outdoor dining table set and they cancelled my order because the billing and shipping were different. Seriously this is 2022 - fire your fraud team for being so incompetent. This was my first and now my last order I will ever place with you. I hope you go out of business. Truly terrible business practices.
I received 2 Highly damaged mirrored night stands. I was told by customer service that I should go to a store near by and purchase Bubble wrap and packing tape so I can securely pack the damaged pieces before shipping it back. Now I have to wait almost a month for a refund and they were just rude!
Avoid this company and save your money! When I initially placed an order for a Men's Valet Stand, I received an email stating that my purchase is on back order. A couple of hours later I received another notice stating that my order was being shipped. Right away I suspected that they were sending me an item that was returned by another customer. When I received the package, I could see that it had been opened and resealed.
Ordered some cabinets 8/31/23. They were supposedly coming in 4 boxes, 3 were delivered by Fedex, 1 was not delivered because it was damaged. After 3 weeks of hearing very excuse known to man from Hayneedle I was told on 9/20/23 the damaged package was not going to be delivered because Hayneedle had been acquired by Walmart and all of their customer service options were "frozen"... $874 worth of cabinets... not going to be delivered. I was told I could rebox the delivered pieces, send them back and be given a refund when they are returned. I have opened a dispute with my credit card company and filed a complaint with the NY Attorney General. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Oh and one more thing... I'm getting daily emails from these morons telling me about their latest deal.
Horrible experience all around. Purchased a patio dining set. Just getting it delivered to our house was a challenge with the shipping company. They didn't coordinate shipping, just text you and say "we will be there in 15 min". Once we received it, the table was damaged (and cannot be repaired). Requested a new table top. They said no, you need to return the entire thing or take a discount. Trying to return for ONE, WHOLE, MONTH with the same shipping company. It has been a nightmare! They never show for pick up, lie that they are about to show, tell us they will show the next day, hang up on you when you are trying to reschedule a pick up. I have had to result to disputing the charges now. One shining area, customer support via email is friendly, but hasn't helped.
They sent me around and around for months! They stopped responding via email, so I had to call to speak with a supervisor, and even after that, I had to stay on them because they wouldn't return calls or emails on their own deadlines. Then they promised me a refund, but turned around a week later and changed their mind. Wouldn't uphold the warranty, and offered me a crappy replacement of an entirely different product! Absolutely ridiculous.
Bought a patio set over 2 months ago, still haven't received it. They blame the shipping company. They used NSD which has a worse rating than them. Will not ever do business with again and would not recommend anyone else to either.
Do not use this company! Hayneedle canceled my order because of their antiquated security system that will not allow you to send it to a different address other than your billing address. I placed an order using my American Express and the correct billing address and had the item shipped to my new home. The order was canceled by Hayneedle even though Amex said that the payment was authorized and provided an AUTH #. The explanation I received was that the security system did not match the addresses. Where do you have a company that does not allow you to send it to another address? Bad Business Practices!
I purchased a 900gsm towel set from them. At 900 grams per square meter you would expect the towels to be the thickest on the market. What arrived was thin like beach towels and certainly not worth the money I paid for them. I asked them for a refund as was told I would have to pay for shipping. They told me I would receive a return address label within 24 hours. It has been a week and I am still fighting to return the cheap towel set.
I ordered a replacement tarp and paid 9.99 for 2 day shipping I was mad when I found out it has 3 day processing time. But then they got there within 5 days and the item was perfect. I am very pleased and happy with the product.
I ordered a cabinet from hayneedle that arrived looking like it fell off a truck twice. After you receive product that is completely destroyed, it will be on you to transport this to where they tell you to return it. Which will mostikely be a FedEx warehouse, and if one is not close to you, have fun hauling a 200 lb box to the next town.
With my recent purchase, there was an issue with the product. Handled beautifully, and professionally! Attention was immediate with both email and a phone call to me. The 2 individuals asked questions, listened and collaborated with me to make the best decision for me regarding solving the issue. This was my first purchase, I hope I have the opportunity to do business with Hayneedle again.
Since Hayneedle wouldn't allow me to leave this review on their site, I wanted to provide my experience here… Table arrived broken beyond repair from 3rd party manufacturer/ shipping company; return process was painful with no option to simply replace the table as opposed to sending back the 9 boxes (1 large box and each chair (8) individually boxed) in total. Was told if I wanted a replacement, I'd have to place the entire order again, even without my refund. When I opted for the full return and refund, again dealing with the 3rd party shipping company, they failed to pick the return during the original pickup window and had reschedule, pushing back the ability to get my refund timely. The full set of boxes was picked up on May 10th and 9 days later, I still have no confirmation on whether my return was received nor have I received my refund. I will not do business with Hayneedle again. Beware.
Their customer service is terrible! If you purchase anything from them you'd better pray that it doesn't break after 30 days because you're screwed! Every piece of furniture I've purchased from them has broken! I can't even let my daughter sleep in her bed! I'm furious!
FIRST they uncharged the color I wanted on a chair that they DID NOT say was low on stock...(20%) THEN 2 day after I ordered WITHOUT ENOUGH TIME TO GET ANYTHING FOR New Years...they cancelled my order as out of stock. Worst company ever
Needed a return label went on the web site and emailed customer service, did not have my order #. They said I would be contacted in 72 hrs that was 4 days ago, nothing. Called was put on hold for 45 min then was disconnected. Terrible do b

Hold on to your tracking numbers or you will not get credit for returns! Item received back in warehouse had still not been credited 2 weeks later. Numerous emails were unsuccessful, but a 15 minute phone call finally achieved my goal of having them acknowledge that they had received the returned item! Slippery way of doing business. Never will use them again!
WE ordered a 1,300.00 dollar entertainment center that had missing and broken parts for the lightning system. It has been three weeks and all I get from their agents. Is we will see can do. They take your money and forget any warranty. You are on your own with Hayneedle
Pro: ordered a height-adjustable table for a friend; it arrived with one corner slightly damaged (probably dropped HARD on that corner, during shipping). Sent e-mail to Hayneedle describing problem and suggesting more padding on corners; got a reply that a credit of 10% of price plus all shipping costs would be applied to my credit card. Con: can't get off e-mail sales list, despite repeated "unsubscribe" attempts. So, mixed experience, but mostly positive.
