PlumStruck send me a cheap kids backpack instead of the luggage I ordered from them and insisted that it was what I had ordered even after seeing screenshots from my amazon orders page proving otherwise. When I requested the correct item be sent instead, the customer service representatives absolutely refused to respond back with anything meaningful.
This seller is a scam. Never buy from them.
I sure wish I would have seen these reviews before ordering. Everything these 1 star reviews say are exactly the issues I had. Jumping through hoops, inordinate amount of onus placed on the customer, so many conflicting emails and way too much time on hold and reaching customer service. The people in customer service who answer the phone are on a whole pretty good, however there are only certain things they have privy to view on their screens which means you will be transferred to the supervisor Cynthia Yates and that's where the nightmare begins. Way too many issues to go into but please take these reviews to heart.
I was double billed almost a month ago for an item of furniture I purchased. The company has not rectified the situation despite numerous e-mails and telephone calls. They are the most unresponsive, shady Internet business I have ever encountered.

I've purchased from this company twice. The first order was for medicine cabinets. They came on time but the quality was cheap. I needed to have them installed right away, so I kept them. They starting rusting within a few weeks. The second purchase was for a small desk. It is defective. One of the drawers doesn't line up. When I looked closer, I could see a repair attempt had been made. I would have to pay to return it, so I kept it. Lesson learned!. Oh, and the exact desk is available at Target for less $$. I don't plan to use this site again.
Ordered an art table for my daughter and while assembling noticed it was missing one screw... just one. Called customer service number listed on instructions, and the rep informed me they could not send me a replacement screw. I even offered to pay for it, but no such luck.
The company later reached out to me, and offered an excellent solution.
I am not able to review the item I ordered from Hayneedle because I never received it. I ordered a dresser and it was shipped quickly but it sat at a local FedEx facility for two weeks and every time I called FedEx about it, it would change to being delivered that day and of course never was, now it just disappeared into thin air. I am not sure what actually happened to it or If it was never shipped and I got a fake tracking number? Hayneedle only response was to refund my money through their extremely slow email costumer service, which of course was nice of them but it would have been even better if they used a shipping company that actually delivered the item! UPS delivered a similar sized item very quickly from another online company, no problem! Needless to say I will no longer order from Hayneedle because of their shipping company!
I ordered a replacement tarp and paid 9.99 for 2 day shipping I was mad when I found out it has 3 day processing time. But then they got there within 5 days and the item was perfect. I am very pleased and happy with the product.
Free shipping and MUCH faster delivery than other companies I checked. And while I haven't needed to return anything, the fact that they don't charge "restocking fees" is appreciated (make note, Wayfair!)
Pro: ordered a height-adjustable table for a friend; it arrived with one corner slightly damaged (probably dropped HARD on that corner, during shipping). Sent e-mail to Hayneedle describing problem and suggesting more padding on corners; got a reply that a credit of 10% of price plus all shipping costs would be applied to my credit card. Con: can't get off e-mail sales list, despite repeated "unsubscribe" attempts. So, mixed experience, but mostly positive.
We bought a chicken coop from Hayneedle. We did some extensive research beforehand and the price was very good for the quality of the coop we purchased. That said, Hayneedle put our coop on sale a couple of days after we purchased it. I sent the customer service team an email and they promptly refunded us the difference without pause. Given some of the reviews on this site, I'll be sure to come back and downgrade this review if anything is broken or the refund isn't processed, but so far, I have been really impressed by them!
I ordered a table and chair set for my twin girls. It arrived on time in perfect condition. Easy assembly; the finished product exceeded expectations and has held up well under daily use for 2 years. Great durable paint job in garden motif with embossed designs. I am back to the site to look for more great finds.
I wish I had read the reviews but I was moving fast. Candy bar cake was suppose to get to my daughter for her birthday-- with extra shipping costs for TODAY. They messed it up and it will deliver tomorrow which will do me no good. Awful Awful Awful. Not sure what they don't understand about TWO day delivery. Move away from the website now... quickly
I ordered a specific mirrored chest and received the wrong item. It took several long phone calls on hold and back and forth emails before hayneedle realized the wrong chest was sent. It weighed over 250 lbs arrived a week before we were told it would be here and was dumped in our home entryway.It occupied a lot of space in our entryway for over 3 weeks with no sense of urgency to be picked up. We were told it would be picked up multiple different days which didn't happen. I had to make more phone calls directly to the shipping company to get a scheduled pick up. I will NEvER do business with hayneedle again. They don't care about their customers and make little effort to make things right. So unprofessional.
I almost purchased a very expensive gazebo on Walmart. Com with plum struck and was looking for netting and curtains to go with it so I called Walmart. They ended up giving me the number for them and called and not open so I looked them up online to see if I could find any through them when I came across this! Man am I ever glad I did, such a big purchase to have these type of problems would have been a nightmare. So I'm writing this so I can give you all their number. Plumstruck sent me a bed with only 3 legs and won't take it back b/c I opened the box later than the return date - told me to throw it away or to donate it (which its no good to anyone so?). In any case, terrible company - go elsewhere to buy your items.
If I could review this site as zero stars I would. DO NOT USE Hayneedle.com if you or your family is involved with the U.S. Military. This company does not allow for any extenuating circumstances (such as unexpected deployments) regarding their return policies, including damaged or unopened merchandise.
Besides the fact they sent me two product a rabbit cage and a chicken coop that was in poor condition i try to send it back and hayneedle customer service e mails me the wrong shipping labels. So a month now still dealing with this and no refund.
Total scam! Order taken and account charged. Sent invalid shipping number but had delivery date. After delivery date passed I contacted Customer Service - three times. Twice CS said order was on its way but could not give a valid tracking number for the shipment but to expect it within a week. Third time I insisted on delivery of item. It would be another couple of weeks before they could get item to me. It had already been 6 weeks since my account was charged so was I supposed to believe this? Requested expedited delivery - no such thing.
It's been three weeks and I didn't hear a peep until I asked for a refund after they left me in the dark. This company does not care about customers, turns out my item was on back order for 3 weeks and they didn't say anything. I emailed in frustration and ordered elsewhere, only to get shipping notice later to spite my efforts. Well done Hayneedle, what a way to make unsatisfied customers pay for wanting to be treated fairly.
