I wish I read these reviews before I ordered a Baldwin lounge furniture for my teen. It's VERY uncomfortable and looks really cheap, it should've been a 1/3 of the price that it actually was. Their marketing is beautiful, customer service is crappy and zero value. I now remember why I didn't order from them for so many years.
We ordered a loft bed in August and it wasn't fully delivered until the following February. It took nearly 6 months with 3 separate deliveries, many phone calls, time spent tracking and reordering before we had a complete bed. It was a disaster, no compensation for the incompetence of their systems. If you don't have time to track, figure out what you're missing, reorder, track, reorder, track and track then don't order from them. There was never any follow-up or follow through from anyone in the company. I will never order from any of the William Sonoma companies.
UPDATED REVIEW: Originally, I was not happy with the delays in the delivery of my daughter's furniture and although I did have to wait longer than expected, the situation turned out well. After discussing my frustrations further with the customer service rep that contacted me from this original review, things went very smoothly. She helped watch my order and keep me informed of what was going on. She also added some perks for the inconvenience. The delivery team was fantastic and the quality of the bed and bedding is excellent. I've ordered from Pottery Barn and Pottery Barn Kids in the past, and I know they are working on fixing some bugs with their communications regarding orders. I think they will get it all worked out and it will be great again. Because of the high quality products, I would definitely recommend shopping here.

At that time I felt happy after observing their collection and Quickly placed my order. I have benefitted with 20% off order with signup. This day I just checked the whole product and I found that their shipping service and quality of the product was amazing.
I used to love shopping at pottery barn kids and was happy to see they now have pottern barn teen too! Better for your daughters than your sons though.
Ordered game tables that were in stock in October for kids for Christmas. Every delivery date provided passed and no calls. PBTeen blamed delivery company and took no responsibility. Almost January and still waiting for game tables. No offer to cover delivery charges. One of the items went on sale since I ordered it in October and states it is in stock but PBTeen has not offered to reduce the cost. Still no delivery date from PBTeen. Terrible company with poor customer service.
Like many others, I have gotten the run around from PB Teen. I ordered a bedside table for my son on December 21,2017. It is now October 19,2018, almost a year later, and still no bedside table. We have called on 4-5 separate occasions and promised a variety of delivery dates and they pass and nothing from the store. We were promised a gift card in exchange for our troubles and that never came either.
I don't think I could have gotten worst customer service if they tried. I'm honestly surprised this place is still in business.
Wow! I was just about to order a few items from the site when I decided to first check the reviews. I wanted to be sure there were no horror stories about not receiving items or bad customer service. Boy was I shocked and frustrated for some of the reviewers when I read the reviews. So glad I came here first before ordering. Looks like PB needs new leadership to address these issues. Word of mouth and customer service is everything in business! Thanks to everyone that took the time to write a review. You saved me from (what appears to be) a potential migraine.
Very disappointed-not sure 1 star should be given. Christmas gift ordered 12/5/17. Account said it was going to ship 2/5/17. Here we are 2/23/18 and 3 different ship dates later... no chair. By the time the chair arrives, if we ever get it, it will be my daughters birthday. I will never order another item from this company. They will only discuss compensation once the chair is delivered. They are blaming the vendor and advised they cannot give us an exact ship date. For the price you pay for the products, customer needs to improve tremendously. Will we ever get the chair?
I had only ordered a calendar which was almost 2 months ago and still haven't received my order, when I had emailed them they said "Due to unexpected production delays with our manufacturer" that was a month ago, maybe they need to shut the website down because this is ridiculous.
Not sure what has happened to this store. A whole system of failures. From delivery dates pushed over and over and over for months, to never sending an email to notify me of order delivery delays, to extremely rude customer service, to being transferred from one rep to another for 30 to 45 minutes at a time, almost every time I called, to outrageously long wait times, to having a customer service rep hang up on me tonight after I complained when she told me that my delivery date (due today) was pushed for the 5th time with another two weeks. Nothing works at PBteen. I'm cancelling my order.
I purchased the Favorite Tee Quit & Shams for my son's bedroom. It hasn't even been a year and the stitching on the comforter and shams is already coming undone. It doesn't have the nice diamond pattern anymore. Customer Service couldn't do anything about it since it was past the 30 days. I am very disappointed in the quality of this set.
I purchased two heart pillows for my daughter for xmas. And by February 10 the pillow ripped and when asked for a exchange only think that was offered was a 5 dollar gift card to purchase something else at there company... good luck getting me to buy anything else.
PBTeen is unable to keep the items it sells in stock. They will give you delivery dates at purchase, but you cannot rely on them. They will change and add further delays constantly. Delays are many months!
I am glad I did buy anything from them and will not do. Last night I added 3 items to my shopping card at one price, but never checked out, this morning I went back to finish my purchases, and what did I find? Prices on all my three items in a shopping card went up by 35 dollars, but wait for it... they added 25% coupon on every purchase that would basically bring me to the same price it previously was, but not really, because I had 15% off for signing up with my email that I could of use it when prices were not jacked up. What a joke!
I ordered multiple things from Pottery Barn Teen this past Christmas and will never do it again. Things which were available at the time of purchase became back ordered so I had to scramble to find a replacement. Those with a December or January back order date became a June back order date without notice. The shower curtain we ordered came with the correct letters but the letters were on their side so unusable. The quality of the items that we did receive was very good and my daughter loves them. But we could have used Wayfair for similar items and the experience would have been much easier. When I called customer service I had to wait awhile in the queue but the customer service representative, Stephanie, was fantastic. She is the only reason for the two stars and not one.
Apparently, my sofa is being held hostage in the warehouse. For two weeks I have been trying to arrange delivery of my furniture. Every time I call customer service, I am transferred a million times. And then only to be told that the exact location of my sofa isn't known, and "leadership" will take a look at the order and call me back within 48 hours. Noone have ever called me back. R
Right now I am on hold (35 minutes and counting), waiting for the rep to make some mysterious call to somewhere. If that turns up no answers, then she will call me back within 48 hours. I am so frustrated with this company. This will be my last order with them.
I bought a futon for my daughter's room. It looked so good in the picture. When I received it, first of all, it is extremely heavy, it is supposed to convert into bed easily. 2. When shaped as a couch, the mattress does not stay in place. I have to keep adjusting it on top of the frame at all times but just in minutes is down to the floor again. And, lastly, it was so expensive for the service I am getting from it. On top of that, I see that now is $200 less than what I paid. Never again PB products.

I purchased two Classic Metro Blackout Metro Shades a couple of years ago for my son's bedroom. Recently, one of the shades stopped locking so I was unable to pull it down and have it stay down. I called PB Teen to try and get some guidance as to how to fix the mechanism.
I spoke with two customer service representatives both of whom told me that since it was over 30 days they could not help me. I explained I was not looking for a refund or return, I was just looking to speak to someone about the product. Both reps were extremely rude and refused to transfer me to anyone, even a supervisor.
Now, I am unable to fix the blind because no one at PB will help me and I am certainly not going to replace the blind. I will wait and replace both blinds from a reputable company that stands behind their window coverings.
Pottery Barn's products and customer service are way below par and frankly inexcusable. Go elsewhere!
Ordered new backpacks and lunch boxes for my three daughters. Order came in as white bedding instead. Called customer service. Those backpacks are now unavailable and they had to re-pick objects they didn't want. Won't offer a discount and justified it by saying they would rush order it instead. Won't reorder from here.
Answer: I would not do that, try money order then you have a receit!
