I purchased double bed for my room and I had a great experience with them, you guys must try this store especially for furniture.
Some items are overpriced. The site isn't as easy to navigate compared to most other Internet retail sites.

I like Overstock for their jewelry - some really great deals. However, I have found that the furniture on Overstock is generally of low quality.
Prices use to be great, but now the quality of products has decreased, while the prices have increased! I no longer shop with overstock.com
I have yet to find a product on there that has been cheaper than what I can find at amazon and other shopping sites.
Overstock has a so much that it will take ages to get bored there. They have great delivery and all in all great experiences.
I ordered on overstock for the first time and received a carpet exactly as described and delivered as promised. I'll keep them in mind.

MY PURCHSE ARRIVED 5 DAYS BEHIND THEIR CLAIM. I stand by my recommendation to review the customer reviews before buying from any vendor. Online information shows 1.3 stars only for Overstock.
I purchased an item. I thought. I got a glitzy note about how my item had arrived and have an unboxing party. The item NEVER arrived, PERIOD! OS told me to find it myself because by God, our computer says it arrived! Too late I discovered their poor review record.
BUY ELSEWHERE!
I still haven't received my order from December12; and now they are asking me to return it to receive credit. You can't make this up!
I ordered an item on Dec 12 in plenty of time (I thought) for Christmas. I think free delivery means no delivery. It is obvious that Overstock uses a third party shipper who bundles everything to save money and then sends it on to USPS. It is now 12/24 and USPS is still waiting. Had I read the reviews ahead of time, which I usually do, I would have known. Stupid me!
My light was missing some installation accessories and they got it shipped to me pretty quickly. Plus they take bitcoins which is cool.
I loved the bassinet I bought from here. It was name brand, beautiful, greatly priced, and came in at a timely fashion.
As long as you don't need any customer service whatsoever you'll be fine. Some of the dumbest, laziest employees I've ever encountered.
First experience with this company. I placed an order specifically on Dec. 14 for a pair of shoes that stated it would arrive in 3-6 business days. Specifically why I ordered through them. I called customer service 12/15/15 and the lady gave me a complete run around. 45 minutes of trying to tell me it could take 5-6 business days just to ship from the warehouse because it was a custom order. Custom? I said EVERYTHING on your website is custom because you don't manufacture any of the products you sell. Had asked to speak to a supervisor, not once but (3) times... - DEMANDED a supervisor who I cancelled the order with. He proceeded to tell me they would send over the cancellation request and once confirmed it didn't ship, they could cancel the order. WTF?!?!?! If it takes 5-6 business days to be picked why on God's green earth would it have shipped in less than 24 hours?! These people do not deserve ANY business whatsoever from anyone - DON'T GIVE THEM ANY OF YOUR MONEY AND TAKE YOUR BUSINESS WHERE IT WILL BE APPRECIATED!
Fraudulent BAIT N' SWITCH Pricing
A faux fireplace had a starting priced of $349 ($390.00 for gray oak post Xmas sale). Upon checking out, the price jumped to $463. Upon filling in the CC info., the price then jumped to $534. Irritated by the yo-yo pricing we declined to purchase the item. 2 hours later - we receive an email for the same exact item with photos now priced at $314 - with the tagline "Waiting just for you" - Check out / Buy now. You would think that by clicking on Buy Now that would be the price, but nope. It was a bait n' switch game. The price jumped to well over $500. The exact same item they Email to us. Annoyed we contacted Customer Service and received several dismissive, cavalier replies.
When a company sends an email and photos (we took screen shots) with an item priced accordingly reputable merchants honor what they have sent to you otherwise it constitutes FRAUD. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME on Overstock.com. There are plenty of other reputable online retailers happy to have your business. WE WILL NOT EVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM OVERSTOCK AGAIN.
We have all had some bad experiences lately with the shopping frenzy with covid! Right? Overstock has put it out there and does keep providing the best of service and shipping it can. I have purchased several items during this time because we also moved a business and to a new house.
So let me clarify how much this can mean when things also get shipped to the wrong address and Overstock sent us a new item because of that! That means a lot because even the could have said tough nuggies! :D So I don't think that was just a fluke. Also, we had some damaged items that were extremely large boxes aka. Chairs. The first representative was difficult in I tried to ask him how to fit these chairs in their boxes again to return them and then also to just get these in a car to return them? After some discussion, another representative through email did allow us to throw them away and replaced them- which was not fun either but part of life when ordering online. Since then we have had no problems and I have had purchased previously several rugs and items that had no issues.
Overstock seems to have much variety of items at usually the lowest prices as I am the "research queen" for the best deals! ;) With just the same investment for their CLUB you can also receive rewards for reviews (LOL which you all know I like) and also to give an honest one. Now, these rewards are nothing to think twice about because you get at times up to $12 -$8 apiece depending on the item price. So let's go! Right?! Also, Overstock is not shy about giving discounted promo codes so if you hunt or allow them to spam you - Yeah I said it but we all get it! ;) Spam is a part of our life ya'll! Let's face it! We can get money off so think of it as a job! Maybe you can see where the money is?
Overstock has now been in my life for many years but more recently the Club has made it better. I am a believer and it works for them because I go there first to see their stock and move from there. I know it's been hard for all of us during this time but I believe Overstock is trying to when some retailers are not as customer service focus. Thanks for reading! Happy shopping!
I have only ever bought sheets and Down Comforters but I have never been disappointed! Products always as described and top quality! I will ORDER from them AGAIN!
I have been an online purchaser for a long time and I stick with my regular and reliable stores, rarely do I buy from Overstock.com but on this occasion there was this bed I wanted. Well the large bed headboard was sent in packaging only fit for a pillow, so inevitably the package was very damaged, a whole corner broken off and two large cracks in the top. Terrible, but it happens and that's why there is returns assistance... or so I thought.
First my returns submission vanished, then customer service insisted that I return the 3 heavy boxes to a UPS store by myself (already helped the UPS driver bring them in as he came on his own and they were too heavy), then they told me I wouldn't be refunded for up to 2 weeks, then they told me I would expect a home pickup one day in the next 2-10 days which suggests I stay home every day... this was disgraceful and everyone else who goes through this must stand up to them. Finally they agreed to refund the money in 1-2 days and an inspector might be out within 10 days to view the damaged item, I got this in writing from 2 online chat agents... needless to say they lied and I have no money and just a broken bed... the fight continues, do NOT buy from OVERSTOCK.
So refund promised today, didn't arrive today... so guess what, back on to customer service and again they extended their time frame and guess what... it''ll be in my account tomorrow... again! So I asked them where I get my lawyer to contact and she just ignored the question, I repeated it time and time again but she ignored it... so finally I gave up and said I guess I'll have to find out where my lawyer contacts by myself... still no refund.
I don't want a smashed up bed, I want them to take the bed back and refund my money... guess what, they just ignore everything I say or ask... Overstock has turned into a scam!
Answer: Hey, I would be very careful. I have transacted with Overstock three times and I don't believe there is as much security in terms of guarantee as with Amazon. And, if you buy items fulfilled by Amazon (meaning the product ships from Amazon's warehouse) you are even more guaranteed. For example, I bought some dinner napkins from an Amazon seller, fulfilled by Amazon. They were not what they were supposed to be and Amazon issued me a credit immediately and scheduled UPS to pick up my item to return. I'm very confident that with Amazon you will get quality service and if the product is not as described or substandard you will be in better hands especially with Amazon fulfilled items. Overstock is just not up to par and I wouldn't purchase something like a medicated cream from Overstock until they get it together.
Answer: I used a credit card on Overstock when purchasing my bed. It was years ago, I still sleep on it. I had no problems using my credit card on Overstock
