Bought 2 tiffany lamps from them, one was fine the other was damaged. Called customer service, they were helpful said they were shipping replacement part. I was happy, I had bought new furniture and the lamps were for my end tables. Told Customer service (I will refer to them as CS) I was having friends come over end of the week as I was leaving the company for a year, I would be happy if it was here before company as I have talked about it to all of them and they are eager to see it. CS member says she will see that it is shipped quickly. I receive notification 3 days later that its delivered. Come home look everywhere for it, ask neighbor if they saw a package or it was delivered to wrong address... no one saw anything. Called CS they look into matter, find out it was delivered in MA and I live in PA. I get a bunch of I'm sorry what can I do to make this up to you... I say I want my lamp I am leaving in 5 days wont be back till next yr. Once again all promises made tracking id given 4 days pass and item has been marked for pick up waiting at warehouse for ups to pick up. I call as I am leaving the next morning. Again all the apologies and promises they will ship it asap and I tell CS I am leaving the country, its going to sit outside till summer 2016. They immediately give refund and say contact us when you get back. I tell them what guarantee the item will be in stock? Then I am left with one lamp and 2 end tables. I may as well throw the other one in the garbage or gift it to someone which is an expensive gift off course. CS keeps saying what do you want us to do we gave you a refund for one lamp. Since I am out of the country I told them to send replacement to in-laws house they will keep it for me till I return. 4 days have gone by, package is still in warehouse. Christmas will come sooner than the part for the lamp. CS is well trained with standard phrases to deescalate the situation, but I don't trust overstock. If you have a deadline to buy an item do not go with them. There is firstly no guarantee you will get an item in good condition, or on time.
I have been ordering through overstock since last 2018 and have enjoyed their service for two reasons: My items arrived safely and without damage, second, they prompt you when your order has been placed and when it is being shipped out. Last March 28 at 11:05am PT, I ordered an item. I reached out to customer service on the same day at 12:14PMPT. He/She said she/ he will try to stop the shipment and that someone will reach out to me after 1-2 business days. On March 29, at 6:09amPT, I received a message saying the item has been shipped. From the time I made a request, no one reached out to me for any follow throughs. On the same day at 6:23am PT or 14 mins later, I reached out to customer service again and told them I cancelled the item. I also sent the photos of text history to the representative. The representative apologized and said he/she sent an email requesting to contact UPS to cancel the delivery of the item. April 3 at 5:05pmPT, I received a message that items were delivered. It is so disappointing how there were no follow through or updates and I get charged $50+ to return the item. It's not rocket science to be in a customer service position and not be able to efficiently handle an issue from start to finish. They were satisfied with the fact that they were able to make the request and not care what goes on after. Not even a courtesy message or call to let me know that the warehouse or UPS cannot do anything about the cancellation of shipment and delivery.
My patio chair from a set arrived damaged. The problem is their response, a $65.00 refund on a set that was $800.00.

I was working with my Interior Designer to replace a dining room table that needed replacing quickly. We looked around at every possible store, manufacturer, and all on-line websites to no avail.
The table we were looking for was way overpriced, and untouchable for my budget.
I decided to look online to see if I could find something that was closer to my liking, without breaking the bank.
We went from website to website, browsing and comparing styles, finishes, and pricing to see if there was a match that compared to any high end furniture store, that we liked.
I remembered that Overstock.com had a vast inventory of many different products, from clothing to appliances, to just about anything one was looking for. So I clicked onto dining room tables, and my designer's eyes lit up, when I started scrolling down, viewing the large inventory some of the same furniture we looking at in the high end stores, at reduced prices at Overstock.
Luckily, we saw the exact table we wanted from the manufacturer we knew, on sale.
In addition, there was an added discount available in the time frame that I was ready to purchase the furniture.
Since it was a high end item, we asked for and received free shipping. Delivery was from door to door. As a matter of fact, the delivery company brought it directly into my dining room, as I live in a high rise condo, and could never have done it without having additional help.
The table was perfect in every way, and in the furniture store it was listed at ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS higher than what I paid.
Needless to say, my interior designer and I were overjoyed. No one could have gotten a better price anywhere. Even a professional shopper, as my decorator was.
Shipping was quick - item was a good price - it's a site you have to visit often to check what's there. I will definitely order from them again.
Nothing's more convenient than having groceries or anything you really need online through Walmart and deliver to your home thank you Walmart

Ordered a Room Divider Privacy Screen... When i received it... it was TWO FEET TALL LITERALLY. Then when i sent it back with the label i paid for... they refused to recognize i sent it back.
BEWARE TERRIBLE SERVICE IF YOU WANT TO RETURN ITEM FROM 3RD PARTY SELLER. I purchased waterproof gloves from Overstock. Although the gloves stated that they were a size medium, the gloves were a size small. I contacted Overstock countless times to try and get free shipping to return gloves. Was told I had to contact 3rd party seller, which I did. I was told after sending pictures etc that I was the only person to have this problem. I went to Amazon to order gloves, and Amazon clearly states in the glove description that the gloves run small and to order a size up. Tried contacting Overstock and rather than give me a $10 return label, ( have spent a lot of money at Overstock over the years) I was told that there was nothing that Overstock could do. There are many issues at play here, but the bottom line is that it is terrible customer service, and what Overstock states is their return policy it is NOT.
Hugely disappointed and although I try and support other businesses, next time Amazon will get my business. I know that Amazon would have allowed this return in a heartbeat
So I bought a television set from Overstock.com approximately two years ago and I also brought the 2 year Warranty as well just for my own protection. Luckily I did as the LG TV that has shown so beautifully, has started to act up consistently. The picture had began to get start and blinky, I thought that my eyes were playing tricks on me, however, my eyes were just fine. I then called Overstock.com Repair Service
This TV picture started getting blinky, shadowy after about a year, the picture is like a bad flashlight, I don't think That this Tv is still being made. Awful service from Overstock.com and their repair department. I will be writing a review on Site Jabber where I have had t least 90,000 people and counting reading my written reviews. As if they want to frustrate me into submission or defeat. But I will keep writing... Do not buy their electronics or appliances because when they go bad they will not fix them at all, they will break their parts and then send them back broken, they are dishonest and they will not honor your warranty! Beware of Overstock.com and their repair department...
Now I have to send my LG Model 32LB5600 tv for repairs for a second time as Overstock.com Repair Department for them to again repair my television yet again, even though they wrote back to me to say that they found no issues with my tv.
ASURION are the Insurers for Overstock.com, however their department is called Overstock.com Repairs... Go figure. I paid for a television and a warranty for 2 years and now I cannot even get my television repaired. I was told all sorts of lies from Overstock.com Repairs and have been inconvenienced greatly for about a month so far and still counting. I have not been reimbursed for my tv even though a Supervisor promised that he would be making sure that I either get a new television set or I get a reimbursement.
I would advise anyone reading this review to be careful of Overstock.com Repair Department/Asurion. They will not honor your warranty.

Answer: Hey, I would be very careful. I have transacted with Overstock three times and I don't believe there is as much security in terms of guarantee as with Amazon. And, if you buy items fulfilled by Amazon (meaning the product ships from Amazon's warehouse) you are even more guaranteed. For example, I bought some dinner napkins from an Amazon seller, fulfilled by Amazon. They were not what they were supposed to be and Amazon issued me a credit immediately and scheduled UPS to pick up my item to return. I'm very confident that with Amazon you will get quality service and if the product is not as described or substandard you will be in better hands especially with Amazon fulfilled items. Overstock is just not up to par and I wouldn't purchase something like a medicated cream from Overstock until they get it together.
Answer: I used a credit card on Overstock when purchasing my bed. It was years ago, I still sleep on it. I had no problems using my credit card on Overstock
