I made an order for a new XS battery for my car and I used the acima payment option. When I got my battery, it was defective and I had to send it back. I talked to the manager and she went back and fourth about if it was broken or not. I requested my order to be expedited as I needed my car. They waisted about two weeks and still never sent it back. Then when I demanded a full refund on the acima loan for said product. They gave me the money back and made a whole new lease to charge me for the same thing. I had to call and talk to them and Acima for the month of December. Today is 1-2-2025 I still have not gotten refund for lease that I never made. $#*! them and California
Followed the procedure with requesting a RMA. After a week of them receiving the item, they did not contact me, but now claiming missing parts. However, they showed me a stock picture not the actual unit. Parts were in there and can't be used without the unit. Stall tactics so they don't refund you. Avoid this place!
Item was defective, I purchased the extended warranty where you get to pay for shipping as well. The unit came back with one of the screws partially in and this is supposed to be marine grade. How well can I trust they actually were effective if this is the sloppy work they are going to do. Do yourself a favor and shop somewhere else
I purchased a double din pioneer unit from them and received it on 11/15/2022. The shipping box was damaged, the radio box was pierced, there was no packing in the box,and have of the features work on the radio. I called the company and told them the situation. At first, they wanted me to pay shipping for a defective "new item". Then, they said since the shipping box was damaged they would pay shipping and I would receive a new radio. I provided all pictures asked. It's been almost 3 months and I still have not had my issue resolved. I have called multiple times and been given the run around. I was told they are waiting on UPS to accept the claim. That was a month ago. I called two days ago and was told a supervisor was going to call me due to the long time frame. Still waiting on that call. I will never purchase from them again. The picture of the radio box is worse than it looks on the picture.

Products are great, but when it comes to customer services they are bad at their services. They charge you for every little thing and they start making up stuff as they go to avoid telling you the truth. Do not expect a good phone customer service cause they are not. Product is good overall, but if you choose something incorrectly then you will be stuck with customer service and it will be annoying.

I purchased a "factory refurbished" 10 inch kicker compc for a decent price. Problem is it wasn't refurbished it was a blown speaker and I'm guessing they knew when they sold it to me. Their return policy is you pay for the shipping cost back to them. By the time you pay shipping back it's not even worth returning and they know that. Basically theft by deception. Only reason I gave it 2 stars is because of the extremely fast shipping. Buyer beware here!

I will never purchase from this website and I put it on my Facebook for my 5000 friends. I spoke to 2 people in Asia and they just hang up on you. They don't understand English well either. I simply went online to make a purchase. Then the next day I get an email saying "oh we can't ship your order because we don't have your phone number". In the meantime I paid for UPS second Day air and I got nothing but grief.

The SIMPLY sent the wrong dash kit. No big deal. BUT, they want to argue which is TERRIBLE customer service, instead of simply correcting the problem. Ordered "brand new" speakers. Got an unsealed box of mounting hardware without the speakers. (!) Paid $140+
Escalating with the vendor and PayPal. Notice how your credit card has trouble working? They want you to use PayPal because they get the money right away, and it's way harder for you to get your money back.
Nobody else had these speakers, because the company (JL Audio) is set to release updated product lines. Needed to match the speakers already in my system. Took a chance. Got screwed. DON'T DO IT. Hopefully you see this review in time.
I ordered a pair of what was suppose to be brand new speakers. When I received them it was so obvious they they were a return/open box from another customer. The main tape seal was still there but someone had clearly forced open the box from the side and I could tell that someone had repackaged everything inside. I asked for a refund and returned them. It took almost two months of constantly calling to finally get just part of my refund back. Don't waste your time with this low budget company... use https://www.crutchfield.com/ instead, they are the best.
Simply Horrendous. Dealing with these people; you might as well shoot yourself in the foot. They are extremely rude to you for no reason. I didn't quite understand. I was nice and respectful and above all patient. Throughout the whole process.
I ordered a sound processor from them, even purchased the additional 4 year extended protection plan. You think they would like to help you after you shove more money into their lap. But no, they dont even treat you like a number. They like to ignore phone calls and even e-mails. When I received a response, WEEKS later, I had problems with my unit, so they insisted on "testing" and repairing the unit telling me it would take "maybe 6 to 8 weeks".
3 MONTHS later, they just send me a replacement unit. Which they could have done in the first place. No customer service, no asking for feedback, no humans?
I thought I would have an issue with returning but it was great that the representative who answered the phone assist me in what to do and how to return the item back. In few days I receive a notification about my refund. Great service, love it.
Try and call them and lets lee how long before you will get someone on the line...
I tried ordering on line an item that was back ordered with most vendors. The online checkout didn't work, so I call. Somehow, a lady picked up and took my credit info promising this item will ship same day (Friday) or next business day. The following week, checking their site, the order status was "shipped" but no further info was available. 8 days later, I called to check on the order, after 40 minutes of constant attempt (you will get thrown to voice mail after 3 minute), I got a guy on the line that upon deeper look told me the item is back ordered and never shipped.

Why did you charge my card on an item you claim you have but you don't? I asked for a refund. I already have this item which Abt had in stock. But the refund from OnlineCarStereo never came. I filed a dispute with my credit card company and awaiting resolution. This place put me through so much troubles.

My dad purchased a speaker from you guys he was supposed to get a 10" they sent him. 12" so it doesn't fit the box, also when sending it back like asked he had to pay for the shipping and did not get a refund or a replacement so $600 out his pocket and for what? Super slow took 2 weeks just for them to acknowledge the order. I have no doubt they would have kept my money and never shipped anything if I did not call them. Pretty shady. I am in the 4th week waiting and still no product.
After going through several back-and-forth emails with customer service and tech support for a defective head unit and trying to determine if the issue was with the head unit or the install my ticket was cancelled before any decision was made or any resolution to my issue. I had to contact them and have the "ticket" re-opened which took multiple emails. They seem to not want to accept that I am currently an ASE Certified Master Tech with automotive electrical being one of my specialties. After going back and forth multiple times, removing the head unit multiple times (to give the requested data) they did finally offer me an RMA # with the understanding I pay the shipping charges and potential restocking fees(?). I even offered to upgrade my unit and pay the difference but there was no response to that. If nothing else, charge my card and send me a new unit and refund me when you receive the defective unit.? Nope. Customer service at OnlineCarStereo.com is a complete failure and is abysmal at best. I understand they deal with problems daily and some of them are not legitimate, but you CANNOT treat all of them like they are not legitimate failures in the products you sell (that is why there are warranties given from the manufacturer). They really should be ashamed of their customer service and tech support departments, I know I am and I don't even work for them. If I did, there would be some extensive training taking place..

I think many people give these folks a bad name for several reasons shipping customer service. We are all anxious to receive our orders and may have a tendency to over react when our orders are not processed and shipped immediately. I know for a fact that customer service gets overwhelmed with shipping questions, they will get back with you just give them some time. As far as shipping after you see it has been picked up by ups it is out of there hands nothing they can do! It's on ups. If you are a Midwest or eastcoast customers expect to wait 5 to seven days for your order. UPS Will normally put those packages on a train for cross country shipping. So if you unsure about using these guys as I was as long as you understand that time is what is needed to fix any issues go ahead and give these guys a try
