Just did a reservation for a reasonable price for my sister to come visit me for her birthday. Guess what? When they showed the option first (and the cheapest option) it was shift 2 days before dates I was searching for. I did not pay attention to this first. WHY? For so many years doing business with travel website on line NONE OF THEM EVER would offer you another dates of travel, unless you SPECIFY that the date. Of travel are flexible. Anyway, when I received the confirmation I noticed right away that the dates were wrong. However, they promised before you make reservation that you can cancel for free within 24 hours but you need to call them (usually you can do it on line). I called right away... They tried to find something suitable for my sister for the ONLY dates she can travel and had been requested. Did not find anything. So... I was advised they would cancel but there will be 25.00 dollars cancellation fee. See what they are doing?!?!?
BUT! I just simply advised them that on a very first web page I saw (tconsumeraffairs.com) there are almost 1,000 complaints, most of them is one star and there quite a number of complaints about wrong dates they booked and then charged you cancellation fee. I just promised (AND WOULD DO IT!) that if I see ANY cancellation fee on my credit card I will make sure that my attorney will start a big fat law suite against Onetravel.com and I am sure that ALL those customers who were tricked would not mind to joint me. Guess what, they immediately send me email confirming that there will be NO CANCELLATION FEES AND ALL THE FUNDS WILL BE REFUNDED (of course in 5 to 7 business days...).
Anyway, DO NOT LET THEM TRICK YOU! Fight the scammers!

I wish I can give Zero Star, I had Flight from Kathmandu to Phnom Penh on 09 of May 2018, When I tried to check in at the airport, the Travel ticket number was Invalid, the Airline representatives can not issue a boarding pass, I checked personally in their computer, showing ERROR. OMG It's really ridiculous that I ever experienced in my life. I called them from Kathmandu to New York using my phone expensed like $50 but no one helped me, they just said sorry we just can refund your money back we can't issue any other ticket.
I had to book the Airport hotel in my expenses, taxi up and down, eat for 24 hours spent another $500 bucks from my pocket, Problem is I was traveling for the meeting.
I will neither buy a ticket from ONETRAVEL nor RECOMMEND to anyone.
Please do not use 3rd party booking and not this one for sure. Always go directly to the site you want to book with. If you want to fly with Southwest or whatever airline go to their site. If you want to reserve a car from Budget go directly to the Budget site. My sister passed and I had to book a emergency flight and reserved a car rental. So I booked through One Travel. It just so happened the TSA agent in Vegas failed to give me my ID back so when I arrived at budget rental at O'Hara I could not rent the car because I had no license and that is understood. Well guess what they kept my whole $397 which set me way back. I had to pay for additional transportation to get to my destination which was not cheap. I understand that there is no refund but in this situation which was out of my control they kept all of my $397. I can see if they kept a % to reserve the car but no they kept it all. As if I was not stressed enough to give my sister a proper home going they cut my pockets deep. Ihave been booking tickets through the website. Booked 5 tickets and come to find out they were supposedly light fare tickets, I was never informed about it and had to pay additionally 126$ for each baggage fees.

They charge a lot i made a typo error with one letter which i try to call them right away and I pay additional $147. Customer service was not so great keep telling you want me to cancel your booking 75 dollar per person. Its a ripped off. Stay away from this scammer.
This is the worst 3rd party airline flight ever! They would not let me change 2 letters in my name! And also, they wouldnt let me change a booking to another day later... charge me a whole new booking! So, be aware of these folks!

We have reviewed the reservation and see that you booked this in Dec, and called in July to notify us of the name error, unfortunately after 24 hours from the booking date name correction is not allowed. The ticket you purchased, basic economy does not allow any refunds, or changes to the flights that's why you were not able to make the date change. There were more expensive fares that we offered that did allow changes to the dates with an airline penalty.
I bought 2 tickets from them for Norwegian Airlines. Found them cheaper on the airline's own website. I called them to cancel and was told by the agent that there was a $75 cancellation fee per ticket. Mind you, the tickets were only $68 each. I thought airlines allowed free cancellations within 24 hours, but not through One Travel. I will be avoiding them like the plague and Cheapoair too (same company)

They charged me 50.00 US to cancel, whereon I said keep the reservation, but I will complain about this underhanded way of making money off the disabled,. They are effing thieves!

My mother booked flight with my married name and I needed to change it to my maiden name. After over 6 hours of repeat phone calls where I would continuesly be transferred, they charged me $100 for name change, I had to send them a copy of my passport and marriage certificate, which I agreed to, they never sent me a new itinerary. Once again I called, they said I wouldn't be able to receive my itinerary until 7 days before travel. Eventually 4 days before my trip I herd back, they said I would need to pay a $100 fee plus $250 rebooking fee, they were unable to change my name. I ended up having to book a flight through a different airline. So much of my time and money wastes. Employees were rude and would laugh at me when I called, they were clearly numb from dealing with unhappy customers.
SKETCHY doesnt even begin to describe this company! We had a family emergency in Puerto Rico right after Hurricane Maria. As soon as we heard the airport was re-opening we went online to book our flight. Onetravel came up with what we thought was the best price. Unfortunately we booked through them. It took us several times of putting in our credit card info to only have the next screen come up that said that flight is no longer available. Of course every single time it happened the price kept rising. We finally got one to go through. We THOUGHT we were good. We got our email confirmation right away only to find they changed the dates on us. Our dates were NOT flexible. We immediately called and spoke with an agent. She told us she could change us to the correct dates for an additional $163. We asked to just cancel the flight. She told us she could cancel the flight for us but there are no refunds. So much for their Book with confidence slogan! You can book with confidence, they will cancel you if you need to within their 24 hours, but dont expect them to refund your money! The girl asked what we wanted to do. Our choices were cancel the flight and lose our $400+ that we already paid OR pay the $163 charge to change to the correct date. This all happened within 16 MINUTES! Its not like it was the next day. It was SIXTEEN MINUTES. Oh and like others have saidBeware of their extra charges. This $450 ticket ended up costing us over $800 once they added all their fees on there. This company is a TOTAL SCAM. Dont get sucked in. Spend the extra $50 up front from a reputable company. Trust me it with save you a LOT of money and headaches in the future!

There was a death in the family, so I had to book my flight ASAP, and this site tool advantage of my situation. They charged me for a correction of a misspelled last name which l suspected that theyd done IT In their end to gauge helpless travelers. First theyll refuse to do it, insisting that you cancel and rebook, so that theyll give you the higher fare so you could pay more... they overcharged my credit card for 40$ more for which they couldnt explain why... By all means, stay away form this site. Not descriminating here, but the accents of all the Call agents and supervisors ive Spoken to were African English. Could be Nigeria? Ghana? South Africa? Bottomline, they dont value their customers. No morals. I Felt like Im a victim of an online robbery. Overall impression is that theyll give you a run for your money..., so stay away from these online bandits.

We were charged with our checked in baggage. The link OneTravel provided says 20 kgs but when we get to the airport, we were robbed in day broadlight with tremendous amount of money. NO checked baggage as in zero but we have to pay. I am among those passengers who were surprised.
Like so many before me I was routed to this site from another provider. Clearly they have the flexible date in default when you are brought over from another site and I guess they are relying on people like myself to be too distracted to notice. And they are right, I was. I selected a date double checked that date and booked that date. There was no scrolling down to find the correct date as another customer was advised. After reviewing my itinerary I discovered they booked me on a flight two days earlier. I would never ever ever select flexible dates. I work full-time and flexible dates are not an option for me. Yes, my bad for not noticing immediately. I thought I got the ticket that I selected. Its sad and disappointing that there are still companies who resort to this type of hustle just to bring in a few more bucks. I travel frequently and I am always looking for good deals on flights and I dont need to be automatically booked in it. Unfortunately I will not be able to use this organization in the future because they are not trustworthy. I anxiously await the documentary that will be made exposing their greed, I hear its coming out on Netflix mid-2018. P.s.-the customer service rep who assisted me was a nice guy.
I only gave them one star because I could not give them negative stars. They are an unethical company that will take your money quickly and without issue without fully disclosing what exactly you might need to travel the path that they have set out before you. I travel to Indonesia frequently as my fiancee lives there. I am not a stranger to possible transit Visas and I stay away from flights that require one. I have flown through China with no issues before but apparently when you have multiple stops, 2 or more, in certain cities then a transit Visa is required. Travel One did NOT notify me before or even after as a courtesy that a Visa was needed on this unique scenario that they booked for me. It is bad enough that when you book through this shady company that you need to gather your luggage and check back in at each airport. Also, in order to change your flight or cancel it is treated as separate flights. What this means is that YOU have to pay fees for each airline used in order to make any changes! Hopefully right now you still have a choice. You have a choice who to book your tickets through. And to be honest, you have a lot of good choices, but through travel agents and direct from the airlines. Do yourself a favor and save yourself the headache, save yourself the time, enjoy your travels and DO NOT TRUST this travel agent with your hard earned money. I am still fighting, 2 months later, to try and get my money back.
