Brought 2 leather sofas 4 yrs ago after 2 years they looked like 20yrs old. The leather has cracked and flaked despite maintaining properly. They refuse to accept responsibility for it. They say it's general wear and tear.
We are now having to get rid of them as they look awful. Do not buy sofas from here.

My leather sofa has started to fade in one area. 14 months old.
Tried the insurance but they say the fade is people wear and not covered. This sofa is not fit for purpose and now I have to go to County Court to get them to resolve the problem whilst they bury their head and hope it goes away.
BUYER BEWARE!

Shocking Company.

Do not buy from this company, I paid £2500 for a leather 3 piece suite waited 5months for it to arrive and after 2 weeks use the leather arms went saggy and distorted. Complained to them but they said they didn't class this as a fault. Absolutely despicable company AVOID!

I have spent the day trying to speak to someone and am still waiting now 29th in the queue!

Six leather dining room chairs from Oakfurniture delaminating after 4 years like plastic - judge yourself from the photo. No offer of a discount on replace and at £140- each not the quality you would expect.

Avoid at all costs

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. We've waited 11 weeks for delivery of our bedroom furniture and have just found out a week before delivery that our bedroom furniture will not be delivered until 30th November - another 10 weeks away meaning we would have waited a total of 21 weeks. We've been living out of cardboard boxes and bin bags waiting 11 weeks for this delivery only to find it is going to take another 10 weeks. Absolutely disgraceful. Avoid at all costs.

Utterly awful company to deal with
Product ordered 1st April, delivery due first week July
Less than 24 hrs before due delivery, cancelled, new delivery date 9th September
Less than 5 days before delivery, cancelled again
Don't waste your time ringing, they don't answer
Don't waste your time e mailing, they don't respond

Awful company

Disgusting company.

Purchased a sofa for £2000 18 months ago.
It now looks so misshapen and saggy and has no support left at all.
We thought this would be no problem as we purchased a 5 year warranty at the time of purchase for a further £200.
Apparently the product looking awful and not being fit to sit on is not a fault.
Some quotes that have come from staffs mouths.
"This is how they make them now so you have to buy a new one regularly"
"The 12 month warranty doesn't mean the product will last 12 months"
"I would never buy one of these for myself, they're a night mare"
Leaving as many reviews as possible in the hope that no one else is ripped off and taken the piss out of. Fuming.

Dining room table top not level; has not been planed property by the sanding machine. There rep came out and had already made his mind up that it was ok before he came through my door. He said it's living wood and is not supposed to be smooth, needless to say they have done nothing about the fault. Would not buy a bag of chips from this company in the future let's hope they go bust soon

Dreadful service

I ordered the Ellipse dresser. It came with a large white sticker on the front, underneath, at the top but on display. The sticker said not to remove as guarantee would be invalid... but it's on show. I emailed... no reply I phoned (eventually got through was told to send photos, not to remove it... and that was that, but I am going to remove it). Who buys a dresser to have a large sticker on display? I also emailed to cancel another order, no reply, the order was delivered, not cancelled. I DO NOT recommend this company at all. The prices on the website constantly vary with/without delivery charge and the price of the items go up and down accordingly

Took out extra insurance for pet damage eg cat scratches. Cat did scratch it so reported immediately, they took 3 weeks before they came out tried to tell me I didn't report it in time. First sofa frame was bent, 2nd sofa lacquer has cracked and peeled off headrest. Told it was the oil from my partner's hair, sofa is only 16 months old and in a house without children. Also told I over cleaned it! Every excuse under the sun!

Delivery men left wardrobe outside my front door, when I'd paid £49.99 for specialist delivery inside property.
Barely looked at door ( didn't measure) said door would not go back far enough to get box in.
Told my husband to unpack & build outside, "it would be easier" ( for them) -they disappeared quickly.
We live in a flat and they had to use a lift, (we'd measured lift and door) don't think they were happy.
Small walkway outside, people have to use it to get downstairs.
They did not even try to take some of the cardboard off to help.
My husband is 64 with illness -arthritis, spine curved, neck bone fused can't move neck, he looks ill.
Took the pair of us an hour to tear off the cardboard and polystyrene ( throwing bits in our bathroom) then trying to take the weight together to get inside. The wardrobe comes in two parts, ( drawer base separate) be aware. Drawer packed inside the main wardrobe. This makes it extra heavy.
Had to leave it until next day to try and put two pieces together. Lifting main part onto base was nearly impossible, I wasn't strong enough and nearly let it slide down on onto his head. Sounds comical but we weren't laughing and were wrecked.
Customer service only offered to refund part of delivery price to take it down to a doorstep delivery. Told me refund would take 10-14 days. I complained.
There was an apology but no empathy.
Sent email of complaint, no response.
They sent generic email, saying refund would now be 3-5 working days, no mention of complaint.
Never wrote a bad review before but wanted to warn people.
£50 is a lot of money for a specialist delivery. £9.99 is still a lot when they have to deliver your purchase anyway.
Seems like unless you live in a bungalow with your bedroom right by the front door and the item isn't heavy you'll be okay. I'll buy elsewhere in future.

Great service in store with friendly staff - we purchased the Gainsborough 4 seater sofa and footstool. The problem is the quality of the sofa is really low, all the cushions are sagged after just 3 months of use and the frame creeks sporadically. We have had the quality control people out and they said that is just the way they are made and there is nothing we can do even though we purchased the additional insurance. Really disappointed that a sofa we saved for and were told was great quality in store, that cost us over £1000 isn't fit for purpose. Don't buy this product.

Placed order on irish website oakfurnitureland.ie all good, in basket, set up account but then wouldn't let me check out. Message came up saying off line at moment for new customers. Then received numerous emails saying had I forgotten to check out my basket. Kept trying to check out and nothing happened. Rang customer services and explained scenario. They then informed me they are no longer delivering to the Republic of Ireland but could deliver to the UK. I explained I had used their Irish website and there was nothing to say that was the case. Again he offered delivery to the UK only. Not much good when you live in Ireland. Think the website needs updating with correct information as to what can and cannot be ordered/delivered!

Very poor service

We ordered and paid for a nest of tables and a TV Unit WOW what a mistake, the items arrived, then on unpacking them found the tv unit joints all showing and a split bottom trim. Trying to get through to customer service is a joke 7 phone calls waiting from 30 to 57 minutes each time, calling the store was told ITS NOT OUR PROBLEM WE ARE CLOSING DOWN ( thanks Kelly you were quick to take our order. Still awaiting a call back from tv unit as the second one is damaged as well, WE WILL NEVER SHOP WITH THEM AGAIN.

Finley sofa

Purchased the item which is a top range double recliner. It arrived with only 1 not 3 transformers so couldnt use the rear recline.
2 one hour calls later having been promised a call back 4 days earlier assured 2 transformers had been sent but 2 days later only 1 arrived.
When plugged in the rear recline froze at maximum recline meaning couldn't use the sofa.
Another 1 hour call to vectold its friday evening we can do nothing till monday then can't promise a timescale so you will have to sit on the floor.
Disgusting service and attitude

It's the worse furniture I've ever bought in my life, luckily it is for my rental house. The furniture in the shop on display is different to the cheap rubbish you get! No customer service whatsoever, I've had 4 sideboards that were shoddy and sent back, taking 7 month and in the end I just accepted the last one, poorly spray painted, the guy in quality control needs a new pair of glasses! Just rubbish, don't bother going and don't be fooled by the salesman! No customer service whatsoever, they just don't answer the phone, they must chop down young trees as the oak is tatt!
