Have my dining table set delivered damaged. Table top and 3 chairs out of 6 needed changing.
The new table top lasts only for 4 months before it started having weird marks across whole table.
We have been told it's a water damage which was never a case but they refused to take responsibility anyway!
We don't have a kids spiling water on table without us knowing, this has been looked after as per manufacturer instruction or even better! Very poor quality of the product for £1000!
Purchased a 3 seater sofa and / chairs which were delivered on 10/12/20
The sofa was damaged by the delivery men who dropped if twice bringing it down the path and thus resulted in the leather being badly scuffed down one side
They wore no PPE and unwrapped everything outside leaving the rubbish behind and we paid £49.99 for this shocking service
We were offered £75 compensation and no repair for a sofa that cost nearly £2000
We are now awaiting a new sofa with an estimated delivery of 1/3/21
I will not be shopping there again

Ordered the Shay Tallboy on 14/10/2020 to go with bedroom furniture bought earlier in the year. Was stated 13 week delivery. It was delivered today with clear damage to a corner of packaging. On opening that corner it was clear that one of the feet had broken away from the corner mount. Phoned to report damaged item and on hold for an hour, during which time my partner, seeing how upset I was, and not wanting to wait another 13.5 weeks for a replacement, has fixed it. His repair is stronger than the whole item. He's now going to put longer screws into the remaining 3 feet as they were fixed into the body of it by screws that were way too short. We're really not impressed with the quality of the furniture when you look closely at the base and back.
Terrible customer service – I was charged twice for an order of £670 I made in December. 3 x 90mins on the phone to the rude customer services team and a number of unanswered emails. I really need the money I am owed, it's a months rent, 3 weeks and no response. Appalling – do not buy from this company!
Ordered a side table which arrived with a minor fault (inset on top wasn't centred correctly). I used Oak Furnitureland's online reporting tool to complain but a week later I haven't had an acknowledgement despite their website saying they will respond within 2 days. Have tried to phone customer services several times but just get automated services and after holding for up to 40 minutes at a time, I just give up. No doubt they will blame this on Covid but I'm getting sick of that excuse for poor customer service - it's too easy and companies should have been able to sort out the IT by now to allow all customer service staff work from home. I think it's just an excuse for poor customer service to start with. Interestingly, Oak Furnitureland was able to answer their sales line within 2 or 3 minutes. I acutally wasn't too annoyed about the fault that caused me to complain in the first place (but did want it dealt with) but the poor customer service means that I am very unlikely to ever use Oak Furnitureland again.
Update 8/02/21 - now have a replacement table which I am happy with but had a fight to get it replaced.

We ordered a coffee table and t. V unit in October 2020 with delivery due 14 Jan 2021. We spent 90 minutes waiting for customer services who treat you like an interruption to their day. We were told we were e-mailed 2 days ago, but did not receive one, to say the order would not be here until the end of March. They have had our money since October 2020. I would never order from these totally unprofessional idiots again. I am going to contact trading standards to find out my options.

Bought a Nebraska Corner sofa from OFL, the cushions were not wrapped or protected in any sort of way, they had dirty marks all over them, presumably where the delivery driver had been handling them after eating chocolate.
When i asked to have the sofa collected for return, the customer service lady was insistent that i wrap the sofa back up, which is ironic considering it came to me unwrapped, she was adamant that if i did not wrap the sofa the delivery drivers would not collect it.
Called customer service team to complain, who offered £50 compensation but said there was nothing else they could do! Not great for a £1699 sofa. Furthermore the drivers smashed the sofa into our door which damaged the wood enamel of the door, again OFL referred us to another company to try and sort it out.
Ordered Mid-Sept for January 10th delivery. Contacted 5 days before to say order wasn't ready and to re-book delivery. First slot was March 23rd! Six month wait and no guarantee it will happen then! Customer service is useless-can't do anything to explain delay (other than blame Covid-cop out!), couldn't explain why a partial delivery couldn't be made and couldn't explain why the web site is still offering delivery dates that are before my re-scheduled dates. Fast coming to the conclusion it's time to cancel especially as they can't be bothered to reply to questions asked of them in writing!
Ordered a side table, tv unit and sideboard back in august 2020, finally received the items yesterday 5/1/2021 after being delayed once already, unboxed to find 2 items in dreadful condition, tv unit had so many flaws it's unbelievable, the fact they have quality checked stickers on the back is a joke, clearly not quality checked! So so gutted after waiting all this time to receive this crap, never ever using oak furniture land again, appalling service.
Got a table and corner unit from Gateshead looks nothing like in shop poor quality wood and made in Vietnam won't replace gaps between joints sent pictures they say it's sap from trees one door on corner won't shut cracks in table legs finally got a call off them and offered £50 discount please please don't get anything from them
So pissed of with Oakland furniture. Ordered new suit and furniture in October and they promised delivery December 17th. So I promised my old suit to a friend before the 17th. Sod's law is I phoned Oakland just before the 17th and ask what time the delivery will be, only to be told the delivery has changed and is now 7th January. Not one phone call/ email from them to explain the delay. So all over Christmas I have no furniture to sit on. Only a few table chairs available. 2020 has been bad enough never mind my family had the worst Christmas ever. Never ordering of Oakland again.
Do not bother with this company, if only I had checked the reviews before buying, big mistake. I had my delivery today, and was told by the delivery men that disposing of the gigantic box and it's packaging was my problem to dispose of, I paid extra when I ordered the chair and was told by the salesman that everything would be taken care of, my wife and I are totally disabled unable to walk far and are now left with a gigantic box and it's waste contents, and because we do not leave our home because of Covid we are stuck as to what to do, we will never buy again
Purchased two leather sofas 2 years ago, now the seats are sagging with the leather stretched looking terrible total waste of money, we have a leather sofa from M&S 15 years old and it's still looking like new. So don't buy this crap China products from Oak Furniture Land
I ordered a Goodwood sofa and chair in silver fabric in August, I paid for them in full and was told delivery would be October, the October delivery was cancelled as was the rearranged November delivery, the sofa was finally delivered mid December, no sign of the chair the delivery men said I should have had an email about it but I hadn't. Luckily I had kept the colour swatch because I knew I the colour was wrong, I rang customer services and after an hour of waiting I was told that they had changed the colour of the sofa and I had an old swatch! I was given the swatch by the salesman and ordered it because that was the colour and fabric I wanted. They let me cancel the missing chair order and gave me £50 compensation! I will never set foot in that shop again
I've been waiting over six weeks for an item that was in stock at the time of purchase. Customer service have made four promises of call backs that they didn't make. Called today and was told there is another delay, that no one thought to call and tell me about, and it will be another two weeks.
Another item was dumped on the doorstep and the delivery driver was gone before I could even get to the door.
I'd recommend you shop elsewhere.
I have purchased nearly £3000 in furniture including the 5 years insurance and with no surprise before the 5 years needed to action on the insurance after having problems with my dining chairs.
After a long process had the replacement approved by HFR. For my surprise, they said because Oak furniture doesn't manufacture the same chairs, they could no replace it, instead, they offered a credit, which is enough only to cover 4 chairs!( I originally purchased 6 chairs, but somehow when the calculate the claim- still waiting to hear how does that works- you end up with a bill of over £240 if you want to replace the 6 chairs).
After long discussions I just got tired of waiting for them, so I paid the amount to replace the chairs and I was told that Oak furniture would be contact me shortly to book a delivery. I genuinely thought that would be it. But for my surprise it has been three weeks that no one have contacted me. Every time I contact HFR they said they have done they bit. Every time I contact Oak Furniture Land they say they are waiting to be contacted by HFR. I am in the middle of them just feeling I have been taken for a ride. No one can give me any further information. Always with the same excuses. I wouldn't recommend them to anybody and please be ready for a long wait - with so signs of getting it ready if you go ahead and buy from them. P. S I am still waiting to hear from them!
Have got an order in place since the beginning of September, and today (2nd Nov) the "Delivery day", and after booking holidays just to get my items at my home I decided to call and confirm the delivery, but the answer is: there is a small delay on your items, they will be ready to be delivered next January! Next January! 4 months delay without warning me or sending email/message... nothing.

Answer: They won't last long. The store managers are terrified that the stores will close as people use the internet for OFL products. Naturally there will be more internet complaints so the company will struggle. Avoid, unless you have lots of time to waste.
