I ordered boots. I got no email confirmation nor any acknowledgment that the order had processed. I called and they had no record on their end. In the meantime, I searched my emails and my site history, but did not have an order number. So I ordered boots elsewhere. After 5 weeks, Nordstrom boots arrived, but there is no packing slip, no order number, and these ARE NOT the boots I ordered. They want my credit card receipts to find my order?! I have never been unable to do a return, not in my lifetime, and I suggested writing "RETURN TO SENDER" but they said that's not permitted. On top of it, one lazy customer service rep hung up, while another went to get help from a supervisor, promised to call me back, and didn't. I am disgusted.

Don't waste your time trying to place an order online, they would cancel it with out even letting you know, and if you call them there is nothing they can do.
Placed an order for two identical items for Christmas gifts. They canceled one due to "inventory issues" (although the item still shows as in stock on their site). I called to cancel the other item, as I needed both of them, and they refused to let me cancel even though the item has not shipped. They said "unfortunately, our cancellation window is only 60 minutes from when the order is placed". Ridiculous.

I ordered quite a few things online last summer and nothing was shipped. Items prob cost me 600 or more, I had to chase them down all summer for refunds. I got emails sporadically over the summer saying the items aren't in stock- stuff I ordered months prior. I called, emailed and no response was not until the store opened I went in and talked to customer service and got a refund here and there, hopefully for all the things I would have to go back months months bank records matching up the payments and refunds. I thought I would give them one more chance for a good deal online because they said they ship with in 5 days. Well I just got an email saying they r working on shipping. I think if something isn't for sale- don't list it for sale and take payments. I love the stores- shopping in person is great- use the stores don't order online u get fleeced. I don't know how it's legal to do that to folks. I should add that I have made plenty of purchases online and some major ones for winter coats from saks off 5th, Alice and Olivia, Micheal Kors, Aquatalia, TJMaxx, for example- these companies have had no problems what so ever shipping their items they sell. Again I would say protect yourself and don't order online from Nordstrom rack- go into the store the store is great online is at best a scam.
Please don't order any items at Nordstrom Racks. Place an order almost a month, no shipping info, no update on order but already charged on my visa card.

Wait to ship? Yes to ship so the winter will be over before I get the coat? So I ask to just return the shoes and coat so I could go to Macy's and buy them? No I have to wait than send them back. I get the pandemic and all but to ship sounds insane.
This site is a waste when ordering, they are not effective in tracking orders or updating with shipping details, i bought an item and 8 days after no info on my order, until i called they told me it was lost, without asking if they can find a replacement they instead issued refund which takes another 5 days, what a waste of shopping, i would not ever in life refer this place or shop again with this site this is a waste of MY TIME OR ANYONE. I have been a fan of Nordstrom for 30 years, since I visited my first one in San Francisco.
I have a Nordstrom card and use it regularly for the points. But mainly I shop at Nordstrom Rack. I find great deals and have never had trouble with returns or anything. I was surprised to read they had a middling average. I was there today, returning some pants I bought online and bought my daughter some cheap, cute boots.
It's my go-to place for serendipitous finds and deeply reduced from retail buys.
People please do not order online. Nordstrom Rack has the worse customer service and the most redisculous policy I have ever heard. I have ordered few items online, after submiited the order. I got the confirmation back and realized one of the items that ordered by mistake and it was nonrefundable so I called customer service to see if I can refund or exchange the item and they said NO because of the policy they cannot do that. This is totally unacceptable, I caught the mistake right away also the website offer 25% extra off but did not applied the deal.

Wore shoes twice, there is something wrong with them. Tried to return them and they said they can't take them back they were worn. Of course they were worn that is the only way you would know there was something wrong with them. Worst customer service ever.
These folks are a mess. I bought 2 pairs of uggs on sale 9/22. Totaled $250. The bs shipping partners they have sent my boots to the wrong address clearly based off the picture. I filed a dispute with paypal the same day. Paypal said Nordstrom was investigating. 10/13 still haven't been reimbursed or even acknowledged by Nordstrom. I'm so mad because those was for my daughter's bday. I need them to do better by their customers.
I had got quality clothes at good prices with nordstromrack before, but was truly disappointed with them in the few months. A leather blazer I ordered a few months ago was defective with holes. My last order was charged but never fulfilled. The most recent experience concerns a return. They deducted 50% of the price I paid (about 40 dollars) claiming it's late fee+shipping fee (5.99), which means I spend nearly 50 dollars for the return. When I complained, they said they are sorry but saying sorry is all they do.
I submitted my order on September 4th, then received email confirmation of my purchase, following day received another email with tracking number as shipping confirmation and on September 8th, received another email saying that I will be receiving my order following day which is the 9th!? Guess what, it's not true was keep checking the tracking number and show that package hasn't picked up by the carrier yet! Called Nordstrom Rack customer service couple times and both representatives confirmed that I should receive my order before or by Thursday September 17th! Give them the credit of the doubt and here's the 17th, and still no package and no tracking information! Called again customer service on the 17th and supervisor said that she will investigate and get back to me today. I really don't like put any bad reviews but this experience was very disappointing.
Be very wary of ordering from Nordstrom Rack. They are using a shipper called Lasership and they have a 1.2 rating. Nordstrom does not give you the name of the shipper, the tracking number doesn't work when you click on it and the shipper doesn't have a phone number. If your package is delivered incorrectly it is effectively "lost"
I ordered a pair of Converse shoes online, the sizing said they were unisex, I was unaware that ment mens sizing with a womans size tag also! So when I order my shoe in a size 7, I received a mens size 7 which is a womans 9! Of course I was in a time crunch by the time they arrived so i went elsewhere. I don't have a store near me so I opted to return ship... my original $43 purchase included fees and shipping and then I was charged additional shipping and fees to process the return and I end up with $29! I was originally told I would be getting $35. I understand it's not a big difference, but when I went to another store to get them I was only charged $24 for my shoes and they said they would pay for returns if they didn't fit... what a difference! Figured that "a higher end" store could atleast be decent! What a joke! That is terrible customer service! Their site should have stated the size difference and surely should have returned my funds!

I drove 45 minutes to Nordstrom Rack In woodlands hills last night around 6 pm. When I get they didn't let us in, they we are closed. On line shows that store would be close at 8 pm. Talk to manger in this regards. She said we closed. Basically they didn't care. General manger of this store has no basic knowledge of management skill. Very disappointed the reasoning that she gave us. On top of that security gard getting involved of decision making.
