I made the mistake of shopping with Nordstrom online, and I should have chosen to beat myself about the head with a sock full of marbles instead - at least then it would have been less painful and I could have made it stop. After purchasing my 3 pieces and paying for them onsite I then waited, and waited... and waited, and waited.
After 1 month of still waiting, I emailed the online site and had my email ignored. This was to be the beginning of a long round of emails that were ignored, then phone calls and more phone calls that went on for over 3 months. "But what was the problem?" I hear you say.
Simple really. The 3 items I purchased were not in stock. How about that? So, you know instead of doing something like, oooh, emailing me immediately to let me know the items were not there and issuing me with a refund (or better still, not having out of stock items listed online in the first place because it takes all of 30 seconds to delist an item), no Nordstrom just thought that they would ignore me, take my $150 and the whole thing would just magically disappear.
No clear thinking adult should go near Nordstrom with a barge pole. If it happened to me it will happen to you because they seem to be happy to be rude to anybody for the price of a stolen clothing order. Or perhaps they'd do it for free they're so good at being rude. They clearly have zero customer service training in place or policies for communicating with customers online or handling customer complaints.
I've left out most of the boring details of what transpired over the entire 3 months other than to repeat that yes, the marble-filled sock would have been preferable. What a trainwreck of a company. It must be run by Basil Fawlty. How they still have customers is anyone's guess. Stay well away.

Ordered a pair of shoes and they were delayed to a train incident. They notified me immediately that the shoes would be a day later than anticipated.

If I Could leave a negative star I would... I have had an absolute NIGHTMARE experience ALL between 12/16 and 12/23 Starting with looking like a credit criminal trying to pass a fake card because there was a "restriction" on the card I had JUST opened to, being treated like a criminal, criminal because the associate did NOT take off the magnetic strip on the perfume and the alarm going off NOT once but TWICE... Than being told off when on a text chat, hung up on by the credit department, now a $1600.00 Christian Louboutin purse is just LOST in the mail and NO big deal we'll process a refund in 5 to 7 days and if I wanna buy another one I can "END CHAT" is what I got... Really? In a time that the economy is awful I spent over $2,000 dollars in less than a week and get treated like absolute GARBAGE the one person who helped a supervisor by the name of JACKSON that I spoke too was helpful but I can tell you from personal experience NORDSTROMS is GOD AWFUL and just to make sure I will repost a negative review about this until I get some sort of call...
I just got scammed ordering on Nordstrom.
First, a bit of context:
The items were sent to a hotel where my wife is the general manager to prevent having them delivered to our house, where they would have been sitting at the front door while we were on a quick getaway. Instead, her front desk staff would take care of it and store it safely in her office.
The items were marked as delivered on Monday, September 25, by the carrier (Lazership) to a person named "M.Donald".
The many problems with that claim:
1. No one in this hotel has Donald as a first or last name. Not even remotely close...
2. The only staff member at the front desk that day was Ms. Deluca.
3. We have evidence through the camera surveillance that the driver never entered the hotel or got to the front desk and interacted with her at the time claimed on the delivery receipt.
4. Ms. Deluca was alone, and the lobby was clear the whole time. No one could have talked to the delivery driver or impersonated a staff member to take the package.
5. I had placed orders through Macy's on the same day I had done so on Nordstrom. The packages from Macy's arrived safe and sound through UPS an hour prior and were well received by Ms. Deluca. The UPS receipt shows her name, and the packages are now in our possession.

1. "After concluding our internal investigation, we have confirmed successful delivery of the package with all items present. At this time, Nordstrom has made the decision not to issue a refund or replacement as was requested." By Javeen

Like will a Michael kors watch be the real thing and come in the proper box or will it be a rip off?

Answer: I have bought a fair number of designer handbags and sunglasses from Nordstrom. In all cases (depending on designer) the handbags were marked inside by the designer, where the item was made, usually a serial number and often a certificate of authenticity. This is especially true of the couture items i. E. Prada, Yves St. Laurent, etc. I have never questioned an items authenticity that I purchased from Nordstroms. They are way too big to risk their rep on fakes.
