Get a new customer service team. They are awful and rude. Marie is the worst and gives you attitude when you are simply trying to resolve your issue. Since this company has been bought out, the services have gone completely downhill. Customer service treats you like garbage and then when you call them out on it, you get a measly 20 bucks as if that's the magic wand to fix the problem. Thinking that you can provide dog crap tier customer service and then buy back the customer is silly and would not be necessary if your team treated people like human beings. I have unsubscribed from all promotions and will not be a return customer. The only reason I will return to newegg is to further tarnish neweggs image for their laughable attempt at getting return business. Amazon happily took my money and will be getting me what newegg couldn't on time. Been a customer with newegg since 2012 (sadly) and have literally watched as my used to be favorite retailer dropped like a pooh in a toilet. I will do everything I can to make sure people know not to shop newegg anymore.

New egg used to be a Great place to buy computer part's and even building a nice PC untill one Day some one desided to raise prices and they started lossing business then one day some one desided to allow other seller's to sell products that's fine but when you buy a product and it's not what you ordered and it's broken doesn't work the seller says you have to pay restocking you and new egg does nothing I think new egg is responsible for product that's broken are product that's was wrong since new egg allows these sellers to sell products from there sight yes new egg is responsible for product that's broken the wrong product I'll never buy from new egg again there's other's places to buy from..

Recently ordered a laptop from Newegg, and it included a bunch of free promotional items. A backpack, and a free fortnite bundle.
This was Deception #1. The fortnite bundle was not free, they charged me $49.50 to my credit card for the game. This is ridiculous because Fortnite is absolutely FREE game anyone can download.
Deception #2: Shipping on the laptop was supposed to be 3 days, but they shipped it via Fedex ground which took 5 days instead of three. If I put a similar sized package into the Fedex ground system it indicates 5 days. 3 days was a lie. I was badly in need of a new laptop, and would have gladly paid for shipping, but they lied.
I got the laptop OK, but customer service was terrible. In total, I spoke to 3 customer service reps. They wouldn't refund my money, and further calls to follow up resulted in customer service re[s that argued, didn't listen, and even a supervisor (Vicky) that refused to help get my money refunded.
The free gifts are a scam they use to increase profits. I will never order from Newegg again. You are better off going to Amazon.

I first bought from Newegg in 2001 and have been a loyal customer, off and on, for a long time.
Recently bought a new TV, arrived with half dead pixels. "Ok, no problem" I thought because Newegg was a good company, right? Oh man. It's now been over 2 weeks, I received the following promises:
1) Your return label is 2 day - lie 12/7/2015
2) Your RMA will be expedited - lie 12/7/2015
3) I will set your RMA to be expedited and 2 day shipping back to you (other customer service rep, noting that it was standard) - lie 12/18/2015
I just got off the phone with "RMA specialists" - they were rude and hostile. I explained I was upset about this process and the rep noted "it will take 2-5 days to process your RMA, we just received it Saturday" (now Tues). I asked about the expedited RMA - "I don't see anything, well I see one thing here - I guess it might be faster than 2-5 days."
Seriously? Not only will I not be able to give my Christmas gift that I ordered almost a month ago, but I hope I get it before New Year's...
Pathetic process, pathetic customer service. I can even understand laziness, but for employees to get hostile with customers is beyond a business mistake, it's unacceptable.

Bad experience for no good reason. Worse follow up.
I saw a good deal on a good product. I tried to buy. However, I wanted to use PayPal. For reasons that no one can figure out, Newegg would not ship to my CONFIRMED PayPal address. They would ship only to an obsolete address. The website locked me into that option. That address was no longer present on my PayPal account. Not even the PayPal customer service people could find it. Newegg Customer service was no help. Policies are policies.
Now, here's where it gets weird:
I posted a negative review on another review site. Newegg customer service tracked me down and also had that review deleted because I had not made a purchase.
Of course, that was my complaint: I couldn't make a purchase I wanted to make! If I'd been able to make a purchase, I wouldn't have had a complaint.
The site policies required only an intent to make a transaction ("shopping, but not necessarily buying" in normal person talk).
The point is: Newegg gets good reviews because they hunt down and eliminate bad reviews.
Be careful. Things will probably go well for you, but if they don't, too bad.
To preface this, I am taking a class that is using software to write assembly code to a microprocessor. We're about halfway into the semester, and I am realizing I need a new computer as my current machine isn't fully working with the software. The semester is nearing end so I need a new computer ASAP.
I tried to order a laptop from Newegg. After I placed the order, money was being held on my credit card. The order was canceled in about 5 days. I contacted customer support, and they responded by saying my bank information did not match. The only "help" I got was them reconfirming my contact and bank information (which they already had on file, none of which had changed). After some time I was advised to just reorder the laptop.
I'm frustrated that their system holds your money without the order actually being confirmed. Furthermore, I am upset at the fact that the only "assistance" I got was simply someone telling me to put in the same order. None of my information had changed, and I need this computer yesterday. What confidence do you expect me to have that this order will process successfully when literally none of my information has changed?
I wasn't even offered an expedited delivery, which I would have gladly paid for. So now I'm going to Best Buy, I guess.

Best Buy uses newegg and tiger direct for guareteed low prices. Those two retailers is usually the only two that Best Buy will ok for guareteed prices.

They are great if there are no issues with your order, but if something happens to your shipment, Newegg will NOT help you. I had a shipment from Newegg left on my porch without a signature, and it was stolen (caught on security camera). I contacted Newegg, and they said they would file a claim for it. They came back saying the claim was rejected because it was stolen rather than lost. I contacted UPS, and they say no claim was ever filed for that shipment. UPS seemed interested in helping, and has said they are liable for stolen packages if they leave one without a signature, but I need to go through the shipper to file a claim. Newegg changed their wording as to whether they actually filed a claim, or just knew that UPS wouldn't pay it, but wouldn't help. They suggested I file through my homeowner's insurance (pointless for a $205 item, under deductible).
So I contacted my credit card company, as they have "purchase assurance". They filed a chargeback to Newegg, and the next day my Newegg account got suspended. Now I'm banned from Newegg, can't purchase again, can't even look up my past purchases, all because they didn't want to file a claim with UPS. After searching online, this appears to be standard procedure for them. Any chargeback to them and they ban you, regardless of fault. If anything happens to your shipment, be prepared to eat it, or to consider that your last business with Newegg. Newegg uses their dominance in the marketplace to strongarm their customers against filing claims against them. File a claim, and you're banned.
Ordered a a lenovo laptop, a mouse mat, and a 500gb hdd, a cooling fan, and it got here when they said and notified me instantly when there were issues.
Ship via UPS Inovation which goes to local post office and sits. It has been there four days with no project ed delivery date
They dont respect delay time and customer service do nothing to help you its just really bad for a 2.3k PC
Im a first time pc builder and found out that my graphics card (rx6700xt) is the cheapest on newweg. It was 350$ which is pretty good for a graphics card of that quality. I placed this order 5 days ago. The website said it would be delivered yesterday (july 2 2023) then BAM 2 day delay. I thought that was the worst it could get then saw THE PACKAGE HASNT EVEN BEEN PICKED UP BY UPS YET? Today there was ANOTHER DELAY. And thats not even the worst part. I wanted to refund my order AND IT WOULDNT LET ME. I couldve most likely gotten it quicker from amazon even ordering it today. For shipping one item and paying newweg 350$ for a gpu, I am very disappointed. I will most likely never use newweg again for future orders.

I ordered 12 drives from to all known Newegg.com once, few days later 10 more, and one more time of 5-6 of them. My first order came in with only 4 items in it. When right away contacted Newegg (right away=upon delivery), they claimed that there are more boxes on the way...
Week goes by since this first box, nothing, another week comes to an end, ANOTHER box finally, but the box what was supposed to be another 13 SSD drives (orders were rather expensive).
But the order is still missing a lot of items. So is another order and so is another; I once again call Newegg, tell them the story; a supervisor of a sort comes on the phone and tells me, to go to my local UPS store, and pack all in one box (no RMA numbers issued!) and ship it with UPS.
Now, I have Newegg on my $#*! trying to collect for all of those items (money for them) which NEVER came to me in the first place. Newegg Preferred Account is trying to collect. NEWEGG.COM is not loyal company at all. People do not shop there. If you know somebody who does, tell them not too! This is a very cruel store! Bunch of Rip Offs! SCAM ARTISTS!

Ok. Read a bunch of reviews from ohters, and in the 8 years of doing business with Newegg I can say I have never had any problems. Once i ordered two BDwrite drives and a week later it went on sale. I contacted them and asked for the difference to be refunded... so they did. I've ordered well over 15k in parts and built over 7 different computers from parts from them... not one issue. Parts are always well packed and lets be honest... the buy reviews and rating system used by so many sites these days was used by this site (can't say it was the first) and was the first i noticed it on oh so many years ago. How many sites can you find manufacturer responses on customers complaints... even Amazon doesn't have that. Sign up for emails and they furnish you with specials and daily speccials. Sites like slickdeals.net and techbargains.com regularly list them for their deals and prices... I am a guru at electronics shopping and newegg is at the very top of my list... then amazon... then dell... tied with BH Photo (been doing biz with them for almost 20 years)... I woot, I fling, I shark, I deal suck, and now I jabber... again my site of shopping choice Oscar goes to Newegg.
My son and I recently built a computer using tomshardware.com and newegg. It was very simple. I found that if you want a cheap computer, just go to Best Buy or something. If you want one with some ponies, you better make it yourself (or spend too much money elsewhere).
It used to be a great deal for the buyer to get all this Free software when they bought a PC. But now, you don't get anything. Anything one would like, anyway. The software they do give can be replaced by OpenSource software.
You build a computer from the ground-up, you will be surprised how fast it is without all that junk companies like HP, Dell, Gateway, etc... put on it. Nothing on it, the way God intended.
Newegg has a DIY section. They match-up a couple or more pieces of hardware and give you a discount. If you find a combination you like (I found a Motherboard, Case, Processor, and DVD drive) and select it, you will be offered other items which are bought frequently with the items. I wasn't sure how to pick out memory, Newegg said that a particular brand of Patriot Memory worked well with my MB and CPU and was on sale, so I snagged it.
It was a lot of fun putting it together this way. I am looking forward to building an HTPC next.
Oh, newegg carries a wide variety of electronics. They have a "Shell Shocker" deal like every 4 hours (similar to woot). You can get Email updates, Text Alerts, or just go to newegg regularly to see whats on sale.
Answer: The reason why i gave a bad review was because i ordered a phone for my wife, An I-phone 5 and NewEgg.com only sent a box with the manual and a charger for the phone. I called NewEgg.com and explained to them and they stated i needed to wait while they investigate, they never got back to me so i called them again. The person i talked to put me on hold then came back to me and stated she was checking this what was going on and kept putting me on hold for a total of 45 minutes to only come back and tell me that i need to send them a picture of the box and contents. I have no clue what my wife or children did with the box now i am screwed. 219.00 down the drain. This was the first and last purchase i will make until the get this straight.
