Newegg is an excellent electronics discount merchant. I built my last computer and bought all my parts through this site at very good prices. Shipping was always quick and without any glitches. I will continue to use them for much of my computer parts purchases. They also sell refurbished parts and those tend to be hit and miss from what I've read in other customers' reviews so I will only buy new products from Newegg. Other than that an excellent merchant. Recommended.
Newegg has a lot of the newest hardware at a reasonable price. When looking for that special component or even items you never knew you wanted till you see them. They have a large selection and great service. Fun site to look around, you just never know what you will find.

I purchased a desktop computer during a cyber week sale and when I received it, it was had a bad gpu. I sent it in to be replaced or repaired. They decide to refund me instead without contacting me first. This ruined any chance for me to get the cyber week sales from any company for an entire year. If I knew ahead of time or if they checked to make sure the computer worked before they sold it, I could have easily bought another pc from them or a different store to take advantage of the year end sales, but what they did ruined this. I feel cheated.
I have purchased 3 computers from them on promotional no deferred interest programs. They purposely place monthly payments towards the promotional periods that end later, so the ones ending sooner fail to get paid off and incur finance charges. When you want to fight the charges, go ahead, but do so by fax, and don't expect any management to have a clue. Oh and don't expect to email anybody there, they don't do external emails for support.
Sent me the wrong item, I sent it back. Fought with them countless times to get a refund on my correct item but to no avail. This is quite a massive scam as they say they need to investigate blah blah but never bothers to follow up. Do NOT trust the other review websites where they have sky high ratings; their customer service called immediately after I posted a negative review but the main concern was getting the negative review down without resolving the issue. Terrible, do not shop here and trust the reviews here instead.

I ordered a laptop from this site on March 3rd. Dealer is Newegg. They withdrew my money and the laptop hasn't been shipped in after 6 days. Live support provides automatic responses. I think this website is a scammer. Although it has ben 6 days since the shipping number appeared, Ups carrier still seems not to take my product from NewEgg. On December 5th I was researching ASUS monitors to upgrade from my current one. I was pulled into their website based on an advertised range of $40-250 price range on what I was looking for. I purchased the monitor for $42 dollars and two days later received email that it was being cancelled due to a price error. Seems more like a calculated risk due to the shopping season and false advertising would bring in additional customers to their website. They were nice enough to give a 5 dollar gift card that I have 90 days to use at their website.

Ordered a camera on Dec 6 as a Christmas present. It is now Dec 19 and still don't have the product. Followed up 3 times and everytime I was on hold for about 40 minutes. They finally decided to give me a refund because they cannot locate the item but it will take 3-7 business days, and since it is the holidays I am looking at 2 weeks before they even give me my money back.

Newegg.com has the most inept customer service I have experienced. I wanted to spend more than a thousand dollars there, but after dealing with 4 phone calls, errors made by customer service people, and being on hold for 22.46 minutes (and counting), I still have not been able to order my computer with overnight shipping. Ha! It has been 7 days since I first tried to order this. What a joke.
Newegg has variety of computers and parts also. As my laptop has become old, I wanted an external HDD to backup my data on that, so that anytime if I change it or not but my data become safe. Searched and found number of options for HDD but finally had to pick from 2. They are providing good information about the product that even non technical person can understand. Everything went cool but I had to wait for somewhat longer for delivery. But all in all, the overall experience is good.

I tried this operation first with a relatively inexpensive adopter. It arrived without a driver. A sticker pointed to where I can download it. I downloaded it... and to make a long story short it did not work. I tried to get support on chat and got nowhere. I called and it was over an hour wait.
In short, they seem to hide overseas, think that the customer is an idiot and their product sucked.
I wish I read some of the reviews before I wasted my time with these people. Rest assured however, they would not hear from me again. The old rule applies; if the price is too good… or alternatively, you get what you pay for.

I've bought from them many times. They are really good. I had one dead power supply, but they accepted the return and sent a new one. Good, quick service. They also send you free stuff with certain products you buy. Highly recommend.
Because of an error on their website, my packages were shipped incorrectly.
They first promised then withdrew their offer to make good on the problem. I offered to pay for the shipping myself and they still refused to help. Awful
Package was supposed to arrive 2 weeks ago. Package gets delayed by 2 day but after every deadline, they keep moving the package back by a day. I still do not have my package. Please do not buy from here and save some time by looking into other companies.

Purchased refurbished tower PC that failed in just over a month. It was returned and I was charged a 15% restocking fee. Spent an hour waiting for CS who agreed to refund the 15% fee. A week later they refunded the fee less $0.05. Really? You beat your customer out of a nickel.

On December 6, I wrote about the customer service nightmare that Newegg put me through when I tried to change the shipment address for a delivery. At the time I purchased the computer, I also purchased Microsoft Office 365. I now get an error message that my program is not licensed. So, I tried to start another chat session with Newegg. Here's the message I received: "5:49:05 PM undefined CS Team: You are next in queue... Estimated wait time is 0 hours 0 minutes 5 seconds.' It is now 6:09, and no one has come on to start a chat. So now, instead of telling me that it would take an hour to even start a chat with me, Newegg has apparently just decided to lie outright.
Stay away from this company. What good does it do to get something at what seems like a good price when the company deliberately hides if there's a problem?

Placed an order on 7/20, revived an email that the item was in stock and would ship by end of day, 7/21. My credit card was then charged. Everyday i checked order status, it always showed "being packaged", after 7 days i was finally told the item had not yet shipped and was being packaged. I was allowed to cancel my order, which i did. They say i have to wait 3-5 business days for them to issue credit. Do not order from this company..

Answer: The reason why i gave a bad review was because i ordered a phone for my wife, An I-phone 5 and NewEgg.com only sent a box with the manual and a charger for the phone. I called NewEgg.com and explained to them and they stated i needed to wait while they investigate, they never got back to me so i called them again. The person i talked to put me on hold then came back to me and stated she was checking this what was going on and kept putting me on hold for a total of 45 minutes to only come back and tell me that i need to send them a picture of the box and contents. I have no clue what my wife or children did with the box now i am screwed. 219.00 down the drain. This was the first and last purchase i will make until the get this straight.
