I am always being sent possible ancestors from the distant past. Their names seem familiar but the I see I have about 400 people wrong. Too old to be alive the or too young to be the parent. I have no idea how to rectify this as I don't know who they are?
Also, I have seen information on my own parents family that somebody has added. Their facts are completely wrong and I have no idea how to rectify this. These are my parents therefore I know their facts.

I have been a member since 2008 and use the site most days, especially as i have been retired for a number of years. I love finding all the relatives i never knew I had. When I renewed my subscription at the end of May the gentleman I spoke to was a real gem, polite helpful and understood my requirements and gave me a good deal too. Thank you.
Man kann mit einer kostenlosen Version beginnen um das Interesse zu wecken und wird immer mehr zur Kasse gebeten. Erscheint mir insofern teilweise unseriös zumal diese Datenbanken von den Erhebungen und Zusammenarbeit der TeilnehmerInnen und deren Arbeit leben und seitens MyHeritage nur die Venetzung untereinander zur Verfügung gestellt wird. Fees keep rising and long time subscribers like do not get any real advantage... Just access to sources of little use. I maintain a tree with thousands of people and I have not had real advantage in doing so. I am really thinking to keep my tree locally.
Eu utilizo o My Heritage apenas para usar o pacote de fotos e já faz muitos anos que a parte da colorização não sofre atualizações. Já pedi diversas vezes para que a plataforma atualize e melhore esta função pois muitas fotos que colorizo o resultado é ruim.

Avec nos aieux, exemple ou pouvait trouver la lignée complete, plus maintenant. Je cherche qq dans un endroit et il peut appraitre meme aux Etats-Unis, plus facile avec Généalogie Québec et Ancestry et Généalogie Drouin et beaucoup moins dispendieux.

I have trouble with duplicate and even more items such as DOB; addresses and etc. When I delete the duplicates and more, then try to save I get notice it will not update the corrected items.
I had problems with the site but found customer services excellent, very helpful and sorted the issue.
I'm enjoying using My Heritage, easy to navigate through all the processes, good to check out the Matches that My Heritage brings up. Very pleased with the results of uploading photos to the site.

As I no longer have any close relatives to help my search, this opened up a lot of info for me. I really appreciate it. It's exciting to go into my email to find an incoming message from "My Heritage".

Answer: My issue was the automatic renewal without any kind of courtesy reminder prior to the effective date, as other businesses do. Advising one year in advance is a poor business practice. When I contacted them immediately on the renewal effective date, they refused to cancel and offered me a 25% discount. They eventually gave me the full refund but it was due to me turning it over to AMEX to resolve. I do however agree with the advice to base your renewal on your own personal experience.

They are highly Sloppy and unprofessional in responding to customer request for assistance. Even though they have and excellent Technical Team. Fortunately I have another Computer with Windows 8 as a result of which I am able to continue working with my Website. But recently a few problems have cropped up with the recent upgrade of the My Heritage Program and have sent in a request for assistance and till today 3-5 months later I have no response. Apparently the company believes that they can play games with the customers. I firmly believe that they have somehow gone into self destructive mode.

Answer: Hi After posting my complaint about MyHeritage on here I got a very quick response from some one called Dave at the company. He told me to send an email to support@myheritage.com and add the subject Dave: sitejabber. He responded a couple of days later - I emailed on a Saturday - and the auto repeat on my subscription was cancelled and my money refunded within days. Hope this helps.
