For those who have not received their refunds! There is hope! I received mine after waiting six weeks!
Www.porterairlines.com thought I was booking through porter airlines on May 22 2019. Ended up booking for 347.00 found out it was us dollars. Ok. Fine. My flight was from Toronto island airport to Fredericton nb. On May 5th 2019. On May 30th I get a call from these crooks stating that my card was declined. Not true. Asked for supervisor. They transferred me. This idiot woman said my flight was cancelled due to price changes because I booked too late. I asked for higher supervisor. They transferred me. The next representative said my flight was cancelled because I called and cancelled it. These were 3 lies. They said I can get another flight for 640 USD I said no. I'll stay cancelled. I booked with air Canada for 251 for the same date. When I checked my cc statement online on June 3 2019 I saw that on May 31st 2019 after my conversation with this company they took 1384. 22 off of my credit card. My email is *******@live.com and anyone who wants to work with me we can work to shut them down. I contacted airlines making them aware. I'm trying to contact Google and any other way possible to have this company kicked
These people are a fraud from abroad. I cancelled my trip October 10th and I'm still waiting on my refund. They charged my card under the airlines name. Took my money and paid the airlines with their personal card. The airlines refunded them on that same day (I know because I called them and even got their credit card number) but they are still telling me they are waiting for their refund from the airlines. They first said I would have my refund on the 21st. I called the October 22nd and they told me 48 hrs. I called on the October 25th and they told me 24 hrs. So I called October 29th and they are say 48 hrs. I asked to speak to management but was hung up on. I called again December 10th and now their refund system has been down giving technical difficulties this whole time. They said there were no issues if I wanted to purchase another flight because they can take money but not return it. Now they said I will have my refund the first week of January. We shall see which I highly doubt. They have a logo saying they are apart of the Better Business Bureau but they are not! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!
Whenever I call myflightsearch, I expect my job to be done in a timely and efficient manner. Not a single disappointment till now. Fantastic Service.

SO bummed by MyFlightSearch-- I went online and googled "United Airlines" and the first link that popped up was: United State Airlines with the exact branding of United Airlines and copyright symbol... So, unknowingly, I clicked on it and was put through to someone who could "help" me with a seat upgrade... The entire conversation felt like I was talking to a United Customer Service Agent (but I wasn't) and they NEVER made it clear that they were a totally separate company. I should have known that something was up when they asked me for a COPY of my credit card and driver's license... AHH! Scary! I declined and they basically said that they could "waive" that part of the procedure... what? MyFlightSearch charged me a $400 assistance fee ON TOP OF my $600 upgrade to Economy Plus seats. I went back online afterwards and the upgrades should have cost the flat $600 rate without the $400 surcharge... I am so upset... I feel intentionally taken advantage of and scammed. MyFlightSearch demonstrated unethical marketing and super-shady business practice-- UGH!

Answer: That's because they are scamming you. They might let you leave a message, but will only call you back if they think they have an opportunity to get even more money from you.
Answer: File a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. It will take time and be frustrating, but the BBB will get their attention.
Answer: Because they are not actually reserving your seat. The price they have given you is fictitious. Later they will say that the price has gone up, and you will be left stranded if you do not pay extra.

Answer: I would just call immediately after booking and every day thereafter since apparently them giving you a confirmation number and charging your credit card doesn't guarantee your ticket as in my case.
Answer: This 3rd party site is a total scam. They take payment send flight details but they never send your payment to the airlines. They keep it for themselves! So when you arrive for your flight you're not on it. Book direct to save yourself the hassle and the money that you'll never get back
