I booked two tickets from Jamaica to Toronto in Jan 2023, confirmation of purchase was sent to my email address and not e- tickets
The email states the e-tickets would be sent once confirmation of payment was received. I still did not receive the tickets and now in May 2023 I called customer service, explained the situation to the agent, that I still have not received my e-tickets. He did not even apologize just place me on hold and the phone hung up, called back spoke w second agent and explained the situation, she made it seem as though it was my fault no apology saying the flight rate went up and tickets did not print due to error, saying they can not not do anything about the flight if I want a refund. I explained to her why didn't someone call me, she days they tried to call me the next day and could not get in contact with me. She was very rude. I said to her if I did not contact customer service, my parents would of been stranded at the airport they are 80 years old. She says she will put a request to the ticket printing department, I will hear from them within 24hrs, still no apology and no acknowledgement of what I even mentioned to her. I waited two days still nothing was sent to my email. I called again the agent says he will put a request for priority and they will email me within 24 hrs. Still no email. I called again spoke with another agent, explained the situation and let him know I was getting the run around my parents have planned to leave on May 15,2023 from Jamaica to Toronto and they have to leave that day. The agent apologized and states there is no tickets that were printed and he can rebook for another day. I asked why did you guys email me and let me know what was going on. The agent agreed and says they should of emailed me that's there mistake. I said hell no I don't want him to try and rebook another flight for me. I just want a refund and I will be putting a review in to warn other people about this website. The agent sent me a refund email and says I should receive my refund within 5-10 days. I hung up my phone. This was the first and worse experience I ever had booking a ticket online. I will never use this company again no customer service experience. They are fraudulent! They need to hire proper agents to represent their company and their customer service agents, training is required for the employees.

ABSOLUTE SCAMMERS

On October 10th 2022, I booked a trip to Sudbury from Windsor via Toronto. Upon completion of the booking I realized that the funds were in US not Canadian. They had taken the funds out of my account within minutes. I called right back and cancelled the reservation, explaining that the funds were in US and not Cad which I was led to believe. The Customer Service agent said there would be a refund in full as the cancellation occured within 24 hours and there would be no problem. Finally on December 23 or abouts after writing my first posting to this site being nothing but scam artists I received a phone call from this horrible site saying that they would send me a cheque in full as long as I took down my original post, which I agreed that I would but not until I received my money back. Well no surprise this is Jan 11,2023 and NO CHEQUE. I have contacted Porter now as they are using the Porter Logo and have advised them that this business is not legitimate.
Buyer BEWARE this site is not reputable they have numerous cases that they have RIPPED PEOPLE OFF. I HONESTLY DONT THINK I WILL EVER GET MY MONEY BACK SCAM SCAM SCAM BEWAREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

RE: Booking reference number - FSON******* – Air Canada # $456.69 in USD
Air Canada payment number (appears on credit card statement) is xxxxxxxxxxxxxx - $ 598.52 in Canadian funds

On or about February 14,2022, I booked on line a return ticket from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan Canada to Phoenix, Arizona, USA for myself (Laura Cook) – Sept 3 to Sept 10,2022 using my credit card. I received email from *******@myflightsearch.com the same evening confirming the booking.

On February16, I called *******343 to inquiry the best way to re-book for myself and my spouse Bruce Cook. The client representative suggested to cancel the existing reservation (FSON******* - Air Canada flight) and re-book using Westjet. The new booking reference was made and there is no issue with this new booking. At the time, the client representative assured me the first booking would be cancelled and I would be refunded.

I note that had I kept the original booking and just purchase an extra ticket for my spouse, the costs would have been much less.
• The first booking for one ticket costs $ 598.52
• The second joint books was $ 1406. 10 in total.

The cheaper option should have been proposed and recommended.

Issue:
March credit card statement – no refund/ April statement – no refund /May statement – no refund. Call *******0056 – was told, sorry, but would refund.

May 25 – call and spoke with Sandra at *******0056 - referred to supervisor - was again told – sorry, but would refund

June 27 – call *******056 and was referred to supervisor Steve who gave me the number and extension (*******246 ext 5034). He advised due to technicality issues, the refund did not happen. He assured me he would be in touch with the "Finance Department" and gave me his personal assurance that the money would be refunded. During this discussion, Steve stated if the refund cannot be credit the account, he would ask that a refund cheque in USD be issued to me. I said that would be acceptable.

August 4 – after checking my July credit card statement and confirming there has been no refund, I recontacted Steve at *******246 ext 5034 who repeated similar story as last time and again assured me that his contact with the Finance Department confirmed it would be done by the end of today and that they will email a screen shot to me confirming the refund credit. It did not come as a surprise that no screen shot was send to my email. It is apparent I received same the run around again.

August 24 – No refund on August credit card. I called the *******246 twice. First time – the male staff "accidentally" hung me after I asked to be transferred to Steve(ext 5034). The second female I spoke would not transfer and asked for the booking number which I provided. She stated my name and said it takes 2 cycles and the funds should be there soon. I tried to explain I received similar explanations in the past but to date, no refund. She then hung up the phone.

There is no reason why i would not receive the refund and kept being told about lies.

FRAUD,. THEFT of Money from Credit card,. SCAM

This company is a Joke,.! DO NOT USE Them,.!

We were looking to book a flight in Mid February of 2020. The web site looked legit at first. We filled in all the blanks and then, when talking to the agent,. We were asked for the credit card information to process the payment for $376.54 USD. We were also asked to upload a picture of my wife's drivers license for proof of ID. (which I thought was strange) but we did it. They were then going to send a confirmation e-mail back to us with the payment receipt and the ticket booking information confirmation.

Instead of a payment receipt, what we got was an apology statement, saying that they had made an error, and that the flight booking had been canceled due to their internal error. Needless to say, they couldn't offer another flight, so we booked it then with another company. We got our tickets from another company.

A few days later, upon looking on-line at the credit card balance,. We obviously noticed that MyFlightSearch,. Had helped themselves to a payment from our credit card in the amount of $1,376.54 USD!

This amount was listed on the credit card statement as "agent fees"@ $1,882.35 CAN or $1,376.54 USD
We tried to get in touch with them every day multiple times a day to find out about the charge on the credit card. Each time, after waiting "on Hold" for in excess of 20 - 30 mins many times.,,, we were always told the same thing.
- We are sorry to hear about that.
- We will look into it,
- We will inform the customer support team and someone will get back to you,.
- don't worry,
- trust Me,.
- a refund has been issued and you will receive it in 10-15 days,.
- a refund has been sent,,,
ALL BULL,.! After 50 days,. It's now well into April,. And they are still telling the same Crap,.!

These guys are professional Scammers if You were to ask me. And they chuckle when I tell them that! It's not the first time. I wished that I would have took the time to read some REVIEWS FIRST,. Before trying to book a flight with them. But how could We know?

Now after reading many of the customer experiences on here,. We decided to share Our experience,. In the hopes that It will help to save other people from falling into the same SCAM HERE from MyFlightSearch

To this day, they have not made restitution for the money that they have STOLEN from Our Credit card.!
