I've been extremely annoyed and frustrated with Bob's! The delivery guys were great, however, I hate waiting longer than what I was told when I first purchased my living room set! I was told 2 months and only 4 pieces of my set was just delivered after 2 1/2 months! I'm still waiting on my other 2 pieces which they now have pushed back to 2 more months! Also I was supposed to get my 4 pieces delivered last week and they sent 2 right pieces and 2 wrong pieces so overall, I am not too happy with Bob's! I understand the pandemic has pushed stuff back but not 5 months! And then every week they keep pushing my date back! Don't think I will do business with them after this! If you want to wait 4 or 5 months for something you paid in full for then shop here
Do not buy from Bobs furniture. Bought a sofa a year and a half ago and the seat cushions are falling apart. Payed extra for the goof proof and they say not covered cause of wear and tear. It is only a 1.5 years old it should not be doing that. Also missed 3 days work trying to get sofa. First they delivered one section of the sofa was wrong had that returned then they said they bring it out the next day never showed up and when I called they said they forgot to put it on the truck. Finally the 3rd day I got my sofa. I even ask if I could go pick it up but they didn't do that. That's how they get you they charge you $250 to deliver the sofa because you can't pick it up yourself. Please avoid bobs you would be doing yourself a favor.
They did not meet one of their Delivery expectations. They arrived way before the time window, they broke a picture in my home, they did not fully unpack product, the product did not function and I had to have a repair man come out to fix it. This could have been avoided had they waited while I inspected the product. They delivered and left didn't even have me sign for it. They refused to put the product where I requested saying it would not fit. I moved it to those places once they left. This cost me over $300 for their "White Glove Delivery". They offered me a $100 gift card, as if I would shop their again. If I could give this a zero I would. They only want your money, don't care about the customer or their experience.
We recently bought a new couch for $1000. They delivered it last week and all we get our bad squeaking noise that the company refuses to fix or replace. We have the Bob's warranty service to that we paid extra but they still refuse to fix the couch that is one week old. Stay away.
I purchased a bedroom set for my son back in December 2021, I was promise for my merchandise to arrive first week of February, then I get a called it was going to be delivered march 8, I get only one of the 2 items I ordered. The dresser is broken, I contacted customer services for them to tell me I have to wait until mid April to get a new dresser plus the bed are they kidding me. I never seen a furniture store this unprofessional, they offer to give me $50 for the inconvenience seriously why try to sell something you don't have in stock, not to mention all the headache of calling to schedule a delivery. Don't waste your time or money on Bob's discount furniture
I ordered 2 pillows on 10/17/2020. It is now 11/3/2020 and I have yet to receive them. There is no one online to speak to; therefore, I had no choice but to call the store. No one knows where my package is. This is unacceptable! I keep being told about delays. I have ordered from a few department starts before and after 10/17/2020 and have received everything. I also cannot cancel the order because it so called shipped out already. What I am trying to understand is, if the pillows shipped out, why can't anyone provide a tracking number at this time?! I will never order from Bob's Furniture again! I am not waiting for furniture. I am waiting on 2 pillows!
Love my sofa and Greg at the new Desert Ridge location told me the truth about when things were coming in and if they could be delayed and they were but I was surprised at how great the quality was for the price. Definitely worth the wait and he followed up with me every week and even told me when things would be delayed.
I would not recommend this company, they will not return a bed frame that they sold me that didn't fit the bed they sold me. I can only return it if I package it back up myself and fed ex it back. I've never had such horrible customer service after spending 5 grand on furniture. They have a awful reputation. They won't be in business much longer if this is how they treat their customers. I'm returning it and not rebuying any bed frame from them. So they lost money. To bad they didn't want to rectify the situation. When they delivered a new bed frame they could of easily picked up the one that didn't fit my bed.
Product quality is poor and there is no customer support. The faux leather covering on two club chairs we bought literally began to crumble. Customer service was contacted and did send a rep to examine the items. The rep agreed that the product was defective and that we would be contacted by customer service to have it fixed. Customer service did not call, but I called them only to be told that nothing would be done, because we were not under warranty. Bob's would do nothing to fix the problem. The identical situation happened to a similar piece of furniture bought from Bob's by a friend. The furniture's covering disintegrated. Bob's would do nothing to make repair it or make restitution. Obviously, furniture bought at Bob's is of poor quality. Save yourself time and aggravation. Make your furniture purchase elsewhere.

Took money for something that wasn't even in stock. Gave us a bull$#*! delivery date, and delivered a box of bobs goof off stain remover.
Then couldn't tell us where, when or even if the lounge parts we ordered were ever going to come. Rang and Rang and Rang them but could get through and when I did had the most pathetic answers. Seriously these guys could manage to get drunk in a brewery.
Then the lounge comes and the pillows are so over stuffed they don't match the ones we have by at least 3 inches, now instead of looking like the same lounge it looks like we just bought each piece from 6 different manufactures.
Never again BOB, you and your store is hopeless.
Had a powered recliner break down in the open position but thankfully it was still under warranty. I called Bob's and was subjected to 1hr plus hold times, even got disconnected the first time 40 mins in. Finally got a repair man scheduled to visit... 2 months out. Nice guy shows up to say "yup its broke, sorry we don't carry any parts to fix it". Whats the point here for the visit? Didn't hear from them in over a month so I had to call the terrible help line, only to find the parts are badly back ordered and might be available in two to three months? HUH? This is going to be a half a year ordeal to get this chair fixed... if it all. Never again.
We paid $2,500 for a couch and love seat. The sales person sold us a warranty that would cover everything for 3 years. When the frame went bad close to 3 years. Bobs could have cared less. They played games and ignored us until the warranty ran out. We have no trust for Bobs and will never shop there again. You shouldn't either.
In short, spent over $3000 on a leather sectional, had it for 5 months when one of the recliner's mechanism broke, waited 4 weeks for a technician, was told 2 weeks for part. 6 weeks later, I called only to find out the part wouldn't be until March, the tech came in December! During this time, the power suddenly stopped to the chair (we were still able to use lumbar at the time) so, I called today 2/20/21, explained my frustration yet again (after months of waiting and hours spent on hold or on the phone with "customer service"). I was then told, new problem, had to send a tech out again. I simply wanted the piece replaced at this point, they refuse again, I wait. Bob's Furniture has zero customer service skills and will never see my money again.
Do yourself a favor and find a real furniture store we bought two cat napper lift chairs. We have done everything except stand on our heads to get these things moving we have repair service 3 times in 6 months they told us because the one chair works that it's " in serviceable condition " we have to put up with a very loud pooping noise and the other one the controller there is none. I will never ever ever do business with these fools again ever. You get the yes girls who tell you one thing and then do something else. Fu k my bobs
I too have bought a lot of furniture from Bob's and after this last time (April 2017) I'll never go back to Bob's again. I'll also make sure everyone knows about Bob's scam. I bought 2 recliner chairs with Goof Proof in Dec 2012. One of the seat cushions has a lump (probably a spring I was told) and Bob's won't pay for it because they say it's wear & tear. A recliner should last more than 5 years and the only suggestion they gave me was to BUY a new cushion, really?
Not even two years and legs and frame of bed started breaking and falling apart. Called bobs to report poor quality issue and they were quick to state that warranty on their part has expired and was directed to guardian service which was the company I bought extended warranty from with Bobs. After 3 weeks of dealing with this company they turned around to state they are also not responsable for furniture breaking down with regular usage. Or if it's an accidental damage it can't be parts like screws and hinges. Absolutely won't ever shop at Bobs again since not even my recliner was covered for screws falling off.
Bobs discount furniture is a scam, and poorly made furniture. Sectional couch falling apart since day one. Chusions sunk in, arm rest you can feel wood. Creaky noisey couch, goof proof is a scam. Read the small print before you sign anything. Says you can't sue them in a court of law! Now why would you put that in small print if your furniture is so reliable? Even they know it's junk! I highly recommend no one purchase anything from this company! They told me furniture looks normal from pics I sent. They should come and see in person and sit on it! I bet no one who works for Bobs has their furniture in their homes.
The in store experience was fine. I purchased the goof proof plan and I was told it covers everything but it doesn't and when I asked Bob's to come look at it it was denied because its not a manufacturer defect. So I asked what am I supposed to do they told me to buy a new piece I will never make another purchase from this chain ever again rude condescending customer service. When I said I was not satisfied and asked to talk to a supervisor I was told no! Same thing with guardian who handles their goof proof plan no help and very rude! I said since you do not cover everything I want my money back and she told me they would give me a prorated refund! But they didn't fix anything. Spend your hard earned money somewhere else
The service on furniture is the worst I have ever experienced ever, would NEVER recommend them or their products. Absolute night mare.

Bad customer service... Ordered my couch set, with a 5 year warranty in August 2020, they delivered it in October 2020, one side of the couch motor was clicking as it opened out, I called several times for a replacement, they keep giving me the runarounds, they are telling me they can't replace my couch because they don't have the part, and it won't be here until January 2021, I told them I wanted another couch, and they said they have to order it and they don't have a delivery date for it yet... I will not be shopping here again.

Bob Kaufman probably cared way back in the 70s and 80s, but this new ownership is all about lulling you in with a moderate pricing model and then sticking it to you after they have your money. There is no way any of those shysters are looking at (or care about) these reviews... let alone respond and actually hold themselves accountable. We are all disposable customers in Bob's World. The sales staff takes a lot of the heat I'm sure, but their assistance is to simply tell you to call Customer Care, which is an absolute joke of a service and clearly where they are saving the money... Michael Skirvin the CEO is a jerk and a poor man's 2-bit used car salesman.

Answer: We purchased a couch from Bobs 1/19/20, the couch had issues from the start but with the pandemic we did not feel comfortable having technicians n the house. Every call to their help center requires 1 hour and a half on hold. They have been here twice 8/11, the problem persists, 9/24 the problem persists and the technician said it should be replaced but I spoke with a supervisor Marybeth D and they refuse. I even purchased the GOOF Proof that is a Joke. STAY AWAY horrible quality and the service is worse... after they have your money
