On top of spending $2600 on the set, I also made a mistake of purchasing their 5-year nonsense warranty.
They started making their own rules that suited them to not cover the following issues with the living room set:
-The material started peeling within six months. Which isn't covered in the plan at all.
-The wood of the recliner broke. They did not cover that.
-The electrical part of the recliner broke. -They did not fix that.
-The hinges of the storage part broke. They didn't cover that as well.
Recently they sent me an email that this was their final decision. None of this was a regular wear and tear. This was all just made up from low quality material. I've purchased furniture 15 years ago that I still have and it is no where close to the condition of bob's furniture. I am highly disappointed with Bob's customer service, they refuse to understand the issue and just turn down any complaints the customer has.
Was sold a more expensive couch cause it was in STOCK but it wasn't. Management refused to admit the mistake. WARNING DON'T BUY at BOB'S!
Bob Furniture will not honor the warranty (Groof Proof) I purchased. Chest has a stain on it. Warrant covers stains. Made claim. Refused it, due to the stain is not from a drink. A second claim, couple years later, warranty still valid. Two knobs on foot board of bed chipped and top came off. Made claim. Refused to replace, because warranty does not cover hardware. (Are you kidding me! You can't have Furniture without hardware!) I was convinced to purchase this warranty on integrity. This is crap! They will find any loop hole to not cover. I will never purchase anything ever there and will make sure people know to beware of fraudulence.
I spent over $6000 at Bob's and when I got the delivery notification I called customer service. They couldn't pull up my order by phone number. Red flag idiots. They had my phone number entered incorrectly but the reply said he'd fix it. I told him when I bought the furniture I couldn't take delivery until after 11:15 and they said call in when you get the window and tell them. I. Doing so it was noted not to deliver prior to 11:30. Apparently they showed up at 9:30, said they called me and there was no answer. They never updated my number and called the wrong one. After chasing this for over two hours they sent me a delivery cancellation notice. Three calls later somebody said we can't deliver until 8/18, a month later. Finally after lots of raising came they agreed to deliver next day. I don't even want the garbage in my house. Stay away as they have no idea what customer service is looks like or means.
The customer service regarding the ordering of parts was terrible! A service guy was supposed to come out between 9 and 11 but never did! They never called us to let us know and had no idea what time he was coming if at all!
This has got to be one of the most dishonest companies I have ever dealt with in my life. Web support is dishonest and gives you the runaround. Will make assumptions based on one photo without requesting more information. They sold me a coffee table they knew had issues and just wanted to dump inventory instead of returning the merchandise to the merchant they purchased it from.
Horrible experience. When I initially order my new bedroom set I told the representative that I was having renovations done to my house and would prefer them to deliver it while they were still going on just incase anything were to happen. Unfortunately they did not have available times during the 3 weeks we had renovations going on. We were able to schedule the day AFTER our renovations were completed. The delivery guys come to deliver and assemble our furniture, 12 hours after our contractors had finished a $15k paint job on our house. The delivery guys scratched every wall in our house leading up to the bedroom (3 stories of walls) and left and indent in our bedroom door frame. I put in a claim with Bobs, the night stand was delivered a week later (today, we'll see how it holds up) but the property damage claim was denied. And the denial reasoning was stated that the delivery people claimed that the scratches were already there.
1 week later, I'm still arguing with Bobs and their 3rd party delivery service to fix our BRAND NEW walls.

Recently got blindsided at Bob's. The financing option turned out to be a rent to purchase and not not the easy credit payment option.
I purchased a couch and 5year extended warranty. Apparently the manufacture of the product is not covered. The only thing is if your child or animal damages it. If the wood, springs or anything breaks after 1 year this extension does not cover it. Our chaise recliner back of couch has been uncomfortable for a while didn't realize it was breaking eventually a spring popped up and we saw the wood was cracked and the entire back had a huge hole. It's nit covered because it was the way it was made. If you bought something make sure you lie and say your dog ripped it or kids jumped on it and caused it to break because if you tell the truth the product just broke down it's not covered, and you have to file as soon as you feel a change. I never knew it was breaking until the spring popped out so I was a late on reporting it. Now it's $500 to replace the piece and the warranty cost up front m. So if you need furniture just for for a year then go for it.
On May 16,2023, we had a dresser delivered to our house. The crew outside dumped an old mattress on the street, next to a tree across from our house. My neighbors saw them and called me but the truck had already left. I spent 25 minutes trying to get ahold of the dispatch. I called customer service. I'm now told the earlier they can pick it up is May 19th. Worse, the crew denied it. These people should be fired for dumping mattresses. Now, I am responsible if we get a fine from City.
We bought a leather sectional from Bobs (actually pleather). We have had 'fake' leather products before, and they were very durable (note - none of these other products were purchased from Bob's). 3+ years into the purchase, the pleather is peeling and separating. And don't expect help from Bob's. You just threw your money away.

A few years ago I bought a couch with power recliners at Bob's. After a few days I noticed that the footrest on one side of the couch was bent. I called and they sent someone out to look. He said it couldn't be fixed and that they would replace the couch, and they did. Great!
The other day the power recliners stopped working. I was out of warranty so I paid the $85 dollar fee to have someone come out and look at it. He said the transformer was shot and he might be able to find a replacement for it. When he called the store they could not find a record of my purchase or the replacement that took place a few years earlier. They had no record of my purchase even though they had replaced the couch. They basically told me I was lying and had never purchased the couch from them and to go away!. UNBELIEVABLE! So I'm stuck with a non-reclining recliner and no way to have it fixed.

This review is for The store located at 6701 Fallbrook Ave West Hills CA *******. I purchased about 7 thousand dollars sofa and dining table and I paied all cash right away at the store. It is 4 months already passed and I have not received my item. Every week I am calling the store and they tell me I have to wait 4-6 more weeks. Do not trust this company. They are so bad with costumer service and they just get your money and not caring if you will receive your item or not. The first thing that this company teaches the employees is to not tell the truth to costumers. If you buy something from a website that is not even popular they bring your item based on the estimated date of delivery. After 4 months they still do not have the estimated date of delivery and saying we do not know when this item will be delivered.
Bob's Discount Furniture is not a discount store, they're expensive. I purchased a love seat sofa from Bob's Discount Furniture & it's of very low quality & I paid $400 on sale. The sofa is only a few month old & the cushions went flat, the material has fuzz on it & is now very uncomfortable to sit on. I purchased boards to put under the cushions & it's still uncomfortable. Due to the cushions being flat, it's hard to get up. The pillows that came with the sofa are just as cheap. They are flat & uncomfortable. I do not recommend this company to buy furniture.

What a disgrace of a company! I ordered a bunch of furniture to be delivered which it arrived. The workers drop two items breaking them which they left at the house. Other items were broken (headboard, chest and some chairs) upon unboxing them. They left them in the house unassembled and broken. We schedule an exchange date, which the drivers came to the house as we opened the front door the driver took off and drove past our house three time. We called customer service …. Of course they are located in India. By the time they contacted the driver they were at the other job site. Oops sorry we have to reschedule - that adds 2 more weeks to the 3 weeks we been waiting. Contact our sales person and the sales manager with … you got ZERO response. So now it's time to get my lawyer involved to have them come and get all the furniture as they are now in breach of contract.

Horribly made furniture. Ordered some kitchen chairs and on one chair the leg was shorter than the others so it rocks. Another one had home that weren't aligned properly when putting together so I had to rig it and drill some nails in it to hold together. First and last time I'll buy from Bob's.

Every call to their help center requires 1 hour and a half on hold. They have been here twice 8/11, the problem persists, 9/24 the problem persists and the technician said it should be replaced but I spoke with a supervisor Marybeth D and they refuse. I even purchased the GOOF Proof that is a Joke. STAY AWAY horrible quality and the service is worse... after they have your money
