I ordered Christmas cards and paid for the 3 day express. The cards never came. I called and was on hold for over an hour! They said they would ship overnight. Never came! Another hour plus wait on the phone…again promised overnight. They finally came December 23! Also, the framed photo of our card was matted crooked! Another hour of my time wasted trying to talk to someone about the issue. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. You cant get a hold of anyone in a timely manner! What happened to Minted?

Minted is an absolute joke.

I'm posting my experience on every website that will allow it, because no one should have to ever go through what I went through.

Not only did my invites cost almost $700 for my events, they get my order wrong several times. After the second time I called and they refused to let me speak to a supervisor and only wanted to offer 25% off for the inconvenience. They repeatedly offered to expedite my shipping and production, but lied time over time. Every time i reprocessed the order i would have to call back to make sure they followed through on their word. This is the second and LAST time i will ever use them again. BRIDES, please expect to spend hundreds of dollars and tears on the poor quality and poor customer service. Also, lower your expectations and prepare to have a headache if you decide to use them.

They had a problem with their systems, and my order was made wrong. After being on-hold for over an hour, I was promised a complete fix at no charge. That never happened. Instead, I never received any help. My holiday cards didn't go out this year. I tried six times to get assistance only to be given more fake promises. I am filing a dispute with my credit card company.

Could Not Decipher Name

I just received a box of 25 custom note cards that I had ordered as a Christmas present. The cards were to have the name Maria printed in script on the bottom. As the script was being done by an "artist" there was no proof to look at when ordering or before printing...just a sample name Ellie. When I received the cards, you could not even make out the name! It kind of looked like Mariq but even that is generous. I asked their "customer service" person Naomi to re-make the cards only; not the envelopes or pretty box. They said NO! If I would pay 50% of the original price plus shipping ($47), they would make a new one. What a disappointment. Welcome Shutterfly.

BEWARE OF SCAMMERS
February 5, 2025

I gave up after losing a lot to them. I can only assume that this is a scam based on a massive Thanksgiving bonus scheme because the app is still working but there are no withdrawal options. The administrators of the community have likewise disappeared.
Since its recovery would be miraculous, I appealed to S I M O N C H * C O M for help. At least they are reliable, and they assisted me in getting my about $80,000 reimbursement.

I have been a Minted customer since 2020 and have ordered multiple cards. Usually they are about average but this year the customer service has gone completely down the hill. They ignore customer's requests and carelessly send things to production. They messed up my initial order. I placed another order they messed up that too. They promised that my cards would be at my doorstep 3 days ago but haven't even printed them yet.
I have called and chatted many times and no body cares. Thank you minted for running everything and for preventing me for sending my Christmas cards early. Please close your business if you can't keep up with it!

We used Minted for our wedding invites and for the last three years of holiday cards. Typically I order them on Rush and get them within 3 days. This year I order Rush and it has taken over 11 days and I am pretty sure the only reason I am getting them now is because I contacted the site multiple times. No idea what has happened to the company, but we won't be using them again.

MINTED SUCKS

If I could rate Minted a 0 out of 5 I would. Minted has messed up my order 3 times. My proofs all 3 times have been correct, however the physical copy of the cards have not been. For the last order, I asked for a picture of the physical cards be sent to me prior to shipping to ensure that the cards are the same as the proof. This was confirmed with a supervisor that a picture of the cards would be sent to me prior to shipment. Then I received a notification that my package was ready to ship. I emailed and asked for a picture of the physical cards, which I did not get a timely response on and my cards were already shipped. Just received in the mail, and they look the same as the previous 2 orders. The staff is not helpful. DO NOT RECOMMEND, GO ANYWHERE ELSE.

I placed an order for 80 Christmas cards with addresses printed on the envelopes, but I only received 53 printed envelopes. When I called customer service, I was assured the remaining envelopes would be overnighted. That was a blatant lie. I was also promised a 30% refund, which was yet another lie. This 24-hour cycle of feeding me nothing but excuses and nonsense is absolutely unacceptable. After being a loyal customer for three years, this is the treatment I receive? Now, thanks to their incompetence, I'm delayed and will have to handwrite the remaining Christmas cards myself. This entire experience is beyond frustrating.

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!
Placed an order on 12/10 and paid for the fastest rush shipping so that I could receive my daughter's first Christmas cards in time. The order was expected to arrive by Friday 12/13. By 12/11 I noticed my order still had not shipped so I reached out to customer service and have been given the run around. On 12/13 when my order was supposed to arrive I was told they would ship my order that day and it would arrive on Saturday 12/14.2 hours later after the call, I receive an email that my order would not be shipping and that they are very behind. DO NOT TAKE PEOPLES MONEY IF YOU CANNOT FULFILL AN ORDER IN TIME! Thanks to minted my daughters 1st Christmas cards will be late to our family and friends. I will never shop with them again and will be sure to let everyone know. I am currently still waiting on my order to ship and have lost complete hope. Customer service is terrible and to get through to someone on the phone you have to wait 30 mins. Oh and even when you pay for rush shipping and your order is going to be late you have to do there job for them and inquire on the status of your order. Disgraceful!

I've used minted for 10 years, but this year, 2024, I had the worst experience. They mailed me the cards but the image I used for them came out super dark and orange. The actual image on my phone was well lit and didn't have an orange cast. The paper this year was cheap feeling, thin, and low quality. I had paid $172. For 25 cards. This has never happened before. In the past they'd offer to send a digital proof to avoid issues like this and I didn't mind paying more than I would on other sites because I felt that minted was high quality and there was an actual human reviewing and making corrections to images and then sending digital "proofs". No digital proof was offered this year and What I got in the mail was just horrendous.
I was on the online "help" chat for an hour because the representative took 5,10 and even 15 minutes to respond. At the end of all this, she said she'd email me with the corrected proof. She did email me but she told me there was no way they could adjust the brightness of the image and I needed to get a hold of the photographer because they needed essentially a RAW image.
I was flabbergasted. I asked if they could just adjust the brightness and orange cast which was NOT present in the photo I uploaded and she basically outright refused. The email ended with a "we'd love to help!", after I was told she couldn't help me.
I'm now stuck with 25 dark cards. My children's skin is orange. The white ornaments on the Christmas tree behind them are yellow tinged instead of white.
They had no desire to make this right and were very comfortable with saying no. They're aware I'm a customer for a decade.
Do yourself a favor and use Shutterfly. It's half the price and better quality.

Minted's custom work is nominal, lacks creativity, direction and takes FOREVER! It took weeks to get them to do an average job on a shower invite I created that went out of stock two days later. They did an awful job on recreating it. I had intended to do my daughter's wedding invitation with them as well but NO WAY! Their customer service and art staff are not well trained which resulted in an average layout and poor font selection even though they had access to my original layout. SO strange. Do not print anything custom or meaningful with minted. While Christmas cards are a no brainer, do not trust them with anything that is special to you.

Chaos on numbers
December 7, 2023

Ordered 500 cards. Sent 467 addresses for the envelopes. Not enough cards. Did not get 500 envelopes (rest should have been blank at least send me my envelopes). Additionally, ordered for extra $10 25 envelopes for mistakes and was not included. So I cannot finish my cards and any mistake ones cannot address with a blank one by hand. Also, MISSING cards! I bought exactly 500 stamps to keep up with this and not only missing envelopes but CARDS! Since very thick cards, no way doubled up in ones already done. That quality is a plus but I also paid FOUR TIMES more than my usual 500 cards but was willing to do so. I was NOT expecting having too little cards! Now I will be LATE as already December 7th and many go overseas. Looks good but wish I had read reviews. No more.

I have used Minted for years and did not have a bad experience until this year. I placed my holiday card order on 12.3 with a delivery date of 12.4. The status was not advancing as of 12.13, but I saw a message stating shipping was updated to a quicker delivery option to deliver as close to the original delivery date. However I did not have any idea on the new delivery date. I called customer service, which took 30 min, but received no information. They couldn't tell me if it was in production, when it would be in production, when was it expected to be delivered or what was causing the delay. However they assured me it would be ok. The next morning I checked the order via minted's site and it now has a delivery date of 12.19! I received no email advising of a delay. Terrible service, and this is the first time I have seen it take so long to fulfill an order. Clearly operational issues that are impacting customers negatively.

Ordered Christmas cards in early December. On December 19th I check tracking. Label was created on December 9th with delivery with Fed Ex. Emailed customer service and said they would look into it. No phone call or email until the next day when I send another email. Was told they are sorry and understand the inconvenience. They offered to send new order. Really, it is now December 20th with no cards. I have used Minted before and was pleased with quality and service. This is not the same company and service. Extremely disappointed. They refunded the entire amount, but still not okay. I will use another vendor for my next purchase of anything personalized. Unfortunate because my daughter is getting married in 2024. Minted lost a customer forever,

I had ordered pre-addresses holiday cards, sent them out, but didn't write down a list of which recipients I had sent to. I forgot if I had sent a card to a certain contact, and wanted a list of which recipients I had included in my order. I couldn't find the info in my minted account online, so I initiated a chat with their customer service. Minted customer service was able to quickly send me the entire list of names and addresses I had included in my previous order. Problem solved! Great customer service is unfortunately rare in this day and age, but Minted's was truly exceptional!

For a personalized card business, this company has automated their system so much that it feels like an impossibility to correct items on the proof, and have the cards delivered to me. I am on the 3rd proof. It has been taking 2 days to correct each proof. So this is now the 6th day since I put in my order and there is no end in sight. I called and spoke to a real person to escalate the concern. The person is disconnected to the actual designer fixing the issue and cannot fix the issue themselves. I ask to speak to a supervisor or owner of the firm as this is a small business. They put me on hold then hung up. I called back and I was hung up on, again. I am on the verge of canceling this order.

Miinted is a DISASTER

Card quality/Picture quality is awful and can see through the paper to the other side. On the first go around, I resubmitted proofs again and again due to grammatical errors of their "proofers"
(who goofed up grammar that was correct to begin with.)
Redesigned and reordered the card with rush overnight shipping. It arrived two days late with NONE of the preaddressed envelopes I paid for yet someone else's Cmas cards included in my package. I can't reach anyone on "chat" on their website to correct this. Now I get to spend my time trying to find envelopes that fit so I can mail in time for card to arrive before CMAS.
Will never order from this company again and will cancel my "Minted" Membership.
