I read some articles that said Minted had good prices on bulk orders. After spending too much time designing the cards, My total was over $500 for 200 cards… and that with coupon codes and discounts. Paid for rush shipping. When I called, they promised "1 day complimentary delivery". This was a complete lie as my cards definitely did not arrive after several days of the status changing to "shipped". Very unhappy with the price and shipping. I selected expedited producing and the production still lasted WEEKS. Definitely do not order last minute! My order was placed the very beginning of December and no end in sight.
I ordered our holiday cards late from Minted this year after shopping around- I thought I might save some money and also get our envelopes pre-printed. Almost 200.00 later and I just checked the process of the design. There is- in very small grey print at the bottom of our card- some other family's name. It's the demo name on the card. Is there no stop-gap check when this very tiny, hard to see field doesn't get filled out? So for another 25.00 they will stop the order and reprint with the correct name. 215.00 now. Next year I am sending digital cards. This bites. Yes, technically my fault. I thought for just a minute about letting our card say 'The Harrison Family' at the bottom because it would be kinda funny. So 2020.
Update: Minted reprinted and waived the 25.00 fee. Thanks, Minted. Just make sure that small, grey type-field is more noticeable for others next time.
Do not order from Minted! While they do have beautiful cards and products they simply do not delivered on time - second year thus happened to me. Customer service is kind and responsive but ultimately they just keep pushing back the date now cards again will not in time to send them before Christmas. Ordered back in November. They can expedited shipping that I paid for end of the day the cards won't be here and that's what really matters. And it's disappointing that this happens year after year.
Minted failed completely on their holiday card deadlines and haven't been accepting accountability. I followed the dates required to get cards out in time for Christmas, but it's a couple days away and they haven't even shipped my order. They gave me 30% off but when I paid $400 for a photographer to take pictures for the card specifically to have to recipients by a Christmas, a 30% refund feels like a slap in the face. Every day for the last week they have been promising that it's shipping that day, but it's flat out lies. I have been using them for 4 years, wedding invites, baby announcements, Christmas cards, but they have lost my business, I'm so disappointed in their company. This was an especially important year too, it was both a Christmas card and a pregnancy announcement.
We ordered our save the dates and honestly we were really nervous to order something like that online and creating it ourselves. They turned out AMAZING! Quick turn around too! We received them very quickly. Will definitely do business with them again if I ever get a chance! Highly
Recommend!
Minted has been amazing! I purchased my wedding save the dates, invitations, and thank you's from Minted and they turned out perfect!
On my thank you's, I forgot to add in the 20% discount. I emailed customer service and within two hours I had a response from Derick. He not only gave me my discount, but he gave me a 30% refund AND added faster shipping to my order.
I recommend using Minted for all of your stationary needs!
I had a great experience with Minted's customer service, both via phone and via email communications. I had made a personal error on my wedding invites and was requesting that I could add return addresses to my envelopes, and long story short their team bent over backwards to help me make it right without charging me anything. They apologized for putting me on hold for less than 5 minutes while they worked to figure everything out. They replied to my emails in less than a day and were very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth the higher cost of these invites because of the quality of service you also get with your purchase.
Minted not only produces beautiful stationary, but after my fiance and I had our wedding invitations stolen from the USPS drop box near our house (I know, I know...incredibly absurd misfortune—but it happened.) The USPS did...pretty much nothing...to help us out other than saying if we "push it," we can "maybe" get a refund. It was a bit of a stab in the dark, but we figured we had nothing to lose by reaching out to Minted's customer service to explain the situation and see if we could re-order our same invites at a reduced price (we didn't have the budget to pay full price again). Minted replaced our invites FOR FREE and had the replacement order shipped to us EXPRESS so that they arrived in just a couple of days. I cannot explain the relief. We are so grateful. Minted is a company that cares about people, and I am SO GLAD we ordered from them!
I do understand that businesses are facing unprecedented experiences through COVID-- however when I placed the order in late November, there was no indication at all of any delays. My order of 120 holiday cards was to be delivered on 12/6. I keep checking back and continue to get different (later) dates for them to arrive. They now will not be shipped out for the holidays. There has been no apology, no updates, just when I check online do I see that the order is delayed. I have called and waited for a half hour to speak to someone with no success. Again, understand everyone is dealing with things, but this is their entire business. They need to better communicate and be up front about these things.
This is an updated review based on the Minted team's responsiveness to our concern about advertising that appeared on our wedding website's RSVP confirmation screen. Originally, when guests RSVP'd, the confirmation included a large ad for "Minted's gift recommendations." We do not mind Minted branding appearing in the footer of the site and on the printed invitations, but we felt this product placement was inappropriate and confusing as it looked like part of our gift registry. When we realized this, we immediately asked Minted to remove the advertisement. At first, they said they could not do anything about it, but they continued to work the issue (over the weekend) and let us know they were finally able to manually remove it.
We appreciate the extra effort the Minted team made to resolve the situation to our satisfaction and would recommend them to anyone considering using their wedding website.
In our original review, we said that our experience with Minted's wedding invitations was positive overall. The design and customer service teams were easy to work with and the quality of the final product is very good for the price.
If you have an issue hope you have at least 30 minutes. To deal with their customer service. They are slow and terrible. They did two prints of my holiday cards and they were both messed up. The second being worse. Would not recommend them at all. I still can't get over how bad the customer service is.
My wife and I have never utilized this website prior to this year. That being said, I doubt we will be giving them our patronage in the future. We paid for expedited shipping on our Christmas cards and thought we were ordering them early.
Though we did receive a package from them on the date they said it would arrive, they sent us someone else's envelopes! With their requested addresses on them! That means our friend's and family's addresses were sent to someone else... Absolutely unbelievable.
Furthermore, my wife sat on hold for 30 minutes to be told to send an email to correct the mistake. She sent the email and has not received any sort of reply stating that the error would be corrected. This is the worst kind of customer service I have ever experienced. I have called insurance firms with better customer service.
We will not be giving our business to them in the future. One more reason to never give business to anyone based out of California!
I don't think you can ever reach customer service. I have been on hold for 1 hour and 18 minutes. I did get someone to answer the online chat. My cards were printed incorrectly. They offered a reprint but could not give an expected ship date. Guess my cards are not arriving before Christmas. With so many other card options out there I will not use them again.
I have used Minted for several years and always had a good experience; however, this year it is horrible! My cards are still "in progress" even though they were supposed to have arrived by today. It is impossible to speak to anyone through their customer service. Will never use them again!
I suggest you go elsewhere for your custom cards or invitations. Their customer service is horrible. You cannot speak with a live agent because the wait time is over 30 minutes. Also, the agents in their online chat tool provide false promises. They said my order would arrive on a certain date and then I found out it didn't even finish production. Horrible service. Beware.
Don't waste your time like I did mine. I ordered 250 biz holiday cards November 29. To be received 12/8. After 9 hours of phone calls and chats and emails I was promised 10 times they would be delivered. Overnighted at no additional charge. The date kept changing. Finally got an email 12/15 saying I may want to make it a New Years card as it would likely be next year I received the cards. It cost me and my business time and money. Worst print company I've ever dealt with. And I'm not alone. Look on Facebook and you'll say hundreds of others with the same experience.
Not a user friendly bunch, great invitations, poorly thought out packaging, slow, slow.
Incomprehensible rsvp web sight, countless guests have complained. I asked for help, and was told it was my problem ( hence the review).
Never again for any reason!
Xmas cards ordered 12/7, expedited shipping supposed to arrive 12/17. Now 12/21 and likely not going to be met. This company has no operations process for scale. Like call Walgreens and strike a deal to print if you cant get your operation going. Instead they ask me to send happy new year cards. What a joke. Do not use! Will never order again.
I made the mistake of ordering business holiday cards from Minted. It was a disaster at every level, culminating in the cards arriving too late to be distributed to our clients and employees. Through multiple chats, long phone calls (hold times of 20+ minutes) etc, they lied throughout the process. Every day, they just moved the delivery date by a day and offered me discounts. I am disputing the entire charge to my credit card company. An horrendous experience. Buyer beware!
Cards arrived late despite having paid $25 to expedite shipping, and arrived too damaged to use and with printing errors. Took 6 tries to reach anyone there. Website "email" form does not work. Finally got through on phone, was verbally promised refund. Then got email from Minted "We're reprinting your order." Don't want reprint given terrible quality - want refund. I shipped back the stamps and cards to them and they refunded the stamps but not the cards! They still owe me $500 (did I mention they are shockingly overpriced?) 3 weeks later am still going back and forth with Minted, or rather trying to reach them and they are not responsive. Their correspondence has been deliberately devious. Complete fraud. Avoid.
Answer: I was trying to do that but couldn't get an answer or find out. I would say no, not possible. I order a bunch of holiday cards, cost almost $300 with pre-printed addresses. 3 weeks, still waiting.
Answer: I couldn't find that. I ordered 100 holiday cards. Cost approaching $300. Been a few weeks and have no real delivery date. Today is 12/22. Oh well, they will be new years cards instead
