$#*!ING TERRIBLE
July 19, 2017

The worst company ever! Worst than Apple. I $#*!ing hate this company! They are so $#*!ing money hungry it's sad. They don't care about any of their products. Used to be a good company. I don't know what the hell happened but they aren't $#*! anymore. Go with Sony!

There's a thing called authenticator app that does not work on my phone or computer. It is a vicious circle to try to just reset my passcode. Even microsoft by phone can't help. Non existent customer service!

Really have a bad taste in my mouth with Microsoft. Making customers that have already purchased your products pay to talk/text to a customer service rep. I will be purchasing products other than Microsoft in the future. Very disappointed and I will not be putting my credit card in for a customer service rep.

I have access to my outlook email via my Samsung Ultra 20 plus phone. A friend send me a collaboration to do list and I tried to access it in the computer, and it locked me out of both of my outlook accounts. Plus it asked me even part of my last credit card purchase from microsoft, but still it does not allow me to log in in my computer. Worst company for software and functionality.

No Customer Support
November 12, 2021

There is literally no way to get help if anything goes wrong. A task was accidentally deleted in Outlook (actually, I didn't delete it, it literally disappeared in front of my eyes.) It is NOWHERE. Looked up a bunch of stuff about how to find deleted tasks and it is NOWHERE. And there is no way to call, no email, and the chat doesn't work because I've had it up for 2 hours and no one has responded. How does this company stay in business with quite literally no way to get support?

I hear your working on AGI. I hope it backfires for everyone involved. A "I have no mouth but I must scream" type situation. I hope you experience eternal damnation in a moment of real time. I hope your unable to live a normal life from the things you've experienced. I hope your flash forward 400 years, to find everything you lived for is gone. I hope you experience agonising death so many times you grow numb. Once you begin to embrace death, I hope your cursed with immortality. So that you aimlessly wonder the Earth for an eternity in regret. That you ever agreed to work for Microsoft

I had never had an issue with Microsoft until my Twitter account was compromised and Microsoft refuse to allow me entry to my account. When i first created a Hotmail account. Granted i did just put made up answers to the questions. That was because i was in a rush to create an account to get started. Anyways i was able to remember some of the answers. When my account with Twitter was compromised, i provided Microsoft with an accurate answers plus my password, but still Microsoft refused to allow me to gain access to my account. I made several phone calls and was messed around. I sent several emails, yet they still refused. Now they have blocked my email account which means i am unable to gain access to Twitter. They are heartless vile thugs.

My Xbox Series X continuously disconnects from ANY Xbox controller I try to connect to it. It's come to a point where I can't even use the Xbox because there is a constant connectivity issue. I am furious my husband and I waisted $500 on a console that we can't even use and it is impossible to get in contact with anyone from Microsoft to fix this issue. It seems many people are having the same issue and Microsoft is doing absolutely nothing to fix it. Talk about under valuing your customers. We can a the issue fixed, or a refund. And after seeing how this company chooses to treat their customers, we will not be buying anymore Microsoft products.

Whenever I have a problem with Microsoft software I can never find a "free" answer. Everywhere I seem to go on their site takes me to paid problem tickets for $35 or more and then there is STILL no guarantee that they will answer the problem. For such a large company why can't there be a first line of defense which someone can analyze the problem and then let me know if it is worth paying for an answer. I also lost all use of my forms on my web site. I thought it was my web provider, but they informed me that Microsoft no longer supports their FrontPage software. WHAT? How can they do that to me. I don't have time to learn a new software. They suggested I purchase Web Expressions from Microsoft. It was a waste of $69 and the most un-intuitive program I've ever bought. I gave it to the local school who gave me the web site wordpress.org to revamp my website and THAT worked and I didn't have to pay for it except for a template I liked and had instructions on how to use it.

Horrible
June 17, 2017

I purchased a Xbox gift and accidentally downloaded it to the wrong Microsoft account and called the 800 number to ask for them to transfer the points to the proper account and they told me they cant. So now my son has list his money and the money is sitting in an account that we cant use. Just transfer the points. The accounts are both mine. I dont understand why they would want my son to loose his money. Way to go Microsoft.

I have a charge on my CC from Microsoft and I don't have a Microsoft account. So when you call to ask about it, the automated system directs you to the website. The website says, to get the help you must logon first. Well, how am I supposed to do that if I don't have an account?

Microsoft has no problem talking me to sell me products but if you need them they are awful. Let 2 rquests for a phone call when my word docs just disappeared, both times I was actually holding my phone and calls went right to voicemail, never rang! So looks like they tried to call me but really just sent a voicemail!

Garbage Tech Support
February 26, 2020

Years back they were rock solid providing easy troubleshooting that took maybe 20 or 30 minutes. Now----you get all outsourced agents and so-called Techs that up to an hour of 'diagnosing' before giving you a ridiculous ticket number, and make promises to call you back, then don't. YOU are left chasing THEM down and horrible wait times, IF their idiot autosystem doesn't disconnect you or tell you to try again later, "heavy call volume " bs.

Lost Surface
January 25, 2022

What a nightmare! I ordered a Microsoft Surface for my daughter. It didn't work, so I sent it back to get a replacement. Then the replacement worked for a mere two weeks before it wouldn't power on any longer. Microsoft sent a shipping label to send it back to the company for ANOTHER replacement. After being assured it would be there in 3-5 business days, the replacement never showed up. Every time I called the rep told me it was on the way and should be there any day. Now, three weeks later, I don't have a replacement and Microsoft is now telling me they never got the laptop. Then why did they tell me they had? I've now spent at least 15 hour on the phone with no positive outcome. I'm now out $500 with no laptop and no replacement on the way. I will NEVER buy a microsoft product ever again.

Bought the same product twice. The first one I didn't know I had to mark as a gift. I could not talk to a real person, and I tried everything so I went through the chat (literally my only option). They saw what happened and told me the only way I can get it fixed so my son can have the product was to buy it again but as a gift. I was guarantee a refund because the first purchase was completely untouched. Received email stating no refund will be given. Called 2 more times, they claimed they could not transfer to the refund department and provided no number. 2 separate calls and I can't talk to anyone? I emailed 3 times and they sent a response that they closed the case. Seriously, I kept the emails. So i emailed them without using a reply and nothing. They are literally refusing to answer my emails. Absolutely nothing from Microsoft. Nasty customer service, nasty people, nasty theiving company.

Extremely user-unfriendly, absolutely completely unhelpful when it came to anything I was looking for. Sat at my computer for hours trying to fix account issues and still cannot fix them because apparently, you cannot change the Microsoft profile of your PC and once it is made it is set in stone on your PC for the rest of your life. That and other issues not only on the Microsoft website but also the box website run by Microsoft. Everything about the sites had absolutely no help at all so it led to me just quitting, I hope I never have to use Microsoft again. However, unfortunately, I play Minecraft so I may have to deal with these absolute $#*! Microsoft websites again if I ever run into account issues.

I ordered, and was billed for 2 Elite 2 controllers, waited all frickin day for FedEx, and then only received ONE controller. Then, by the time slow $#*! FedEx arrived at my house on Saturday, it was too late to contact California to find out my order issue! The call center agents in India, as usual, were perplexed and had no idea how to rectify the order. What are you paying those people in India for, when they can't address issues?

Im a 69 year old grandpa and my little grandkid said that my computer got hacked and it started playing very weird noises and music and It started saying WAP and other absolutely diabolical statements and when it started playing I almost died of a heart attack and exploded because of the unchristian music. Later that day I contacted Microsoft support and they said that I had to pay all of my savings and give them my social security number but then the bank called me and now I'm in jail for tax fraud because a big bulky indian man commited tax fraud with my band account.

Canceling everything on Microsoft is such a hassle. It says you can cancel anytime no problems when in fact you really can't. I've been trying to cancel my 365 subscription for months and they still keep trying to charge my card. And I can't take my card off file because of the subscription I've been trying to cancel is linked to it. And when you call to cancel it they give you the option of charging your card and then refunding you or you can wait 30-90 days for it to supposedly cancel itself out. Such a horrible experience.
