I am sick of Microsoft mandating new useless Operating Systems Windows 7 was good enough I'm done with it and advice people who read this comment to complain with the Better Business Bureau if you value your computer as the customer no computer should be rendered as retro or obsolete. Microsoft is violating multiple consumer rights and no one is taking action on them this is disgusting! Eventually Microsoft is going to want to reinstate older Operating System and will run out of numbers.

Work stoppage

As a writer I depend on my computer and MS Word. However of late I am experiencing tremendous slowdown while writing and it just so happens to slowdown when you clowns push an outdate out. I wish I could turn it off your updates or actually schedule when NOT to download it. You make oeoples lives miserable...

If you hate these, I have a way to stop them, and punish Microsoft for not allowing us the option of not displaying them.

Since they won't let me have the option to turn these stupid things off, my workaround is to use a very old browser, which does not even know how to display this stupid ****. Of course, now their ads aren't showing through, either! Bonus!;)

I think I might just keep it this way. Shot yourselves in the foot, arrogant jerks.

Again, you can not only remove the icons, but stop the ads on the free version too.

I'm using IE 8 for this, just for Outlook only. Ironic, using their own outdated browser to defeat this Outlook irritation. Perhaps a more recent browser will also put the kibosh on the icons, if anyone experiments and finds a better old browser for this let us know.

The only way to speak with a live person is to say you want to purchase a product.
Canceled 365 because I no longer need it for my kids, but instead of canceling they billed me a second time. I called back to get this fixed, was put on hold for 30 minutes, then hung up on. Still not reimbursed. I guess that Microsoft can get away with anyting.

So recently my account was hacked and something went on during that time, when I got the notification of the suspension and found that another console was logged on in my account I immediately changed my password and set a 2-step verification, after doing that when they asked I got another email for suspension for 15 days, so at this time the better business bureau and my lawyer will be airing Microsoft for their incomplete actions of not helping a person in need when their account is hacked instead of helping they want your money and give you suspensions, and act like they can, and don't get me started on their Xbox safety team is the worst, when emailing them they asked for all the verifications of the 2-step verification and than bam the 15 day suspension. Microsoft you'll be losing a lot of players soon.

Want to have your online activities spied on, tracked and your OS hacked. Use windows products. Sad such a big company is so evil. Update your windows os and get it disabled. Their tech/help guides are there to confuse and misdirect you. Often their updates screw up your system. Product of Bill Gates who is not a programmer but a con artist.
What's your choice? Linux? Promoted by a bunch of computer guy (as in Sat nite live) nerds who make their "distros" as much cripple ware as possible. Confusing commands, you have to devote your life to figure out how to get your OS to actually work. Incompatible with popular virtual software. Incompatible with most everything. To bad we don't have a real good OS to use. Windows is not it.

Microsoft is the biggest cancer on the Internet.I opened an account for my grandson so he could play Xbox then I can't open it or log in to it.They change passwords frequently.I tried to log into my microsoft account of course I can't log in to change password.If there's a possibility to bye a computer with out microsoft do it.I cannot uninstall microsoft edge out my computer.It will only let me"modify"it if you do try to modify it it turns around and reinstalls microsoft in your system.I wish I knew how to stop this infestation it make me want to smash my lap top and just use my phone.MICROSOFT IS A CANCER.!

I hate Microsoft
April 30, 2020

I created a profile on my XBox and broughtt a game. The next day I tried to go play the game. It's asking me to sign in then saying my password was incorrect. The instructions told me to reset my password. I did that. It still said I was blocked. I put in a problem ticket no one called me back. I don't know how to get the $30.00 game I paid for or a refund at least. I'm very frustrated. I hate Microsoft.

Every time I try to cancel my Fortnite crew subscription through Microsoft, it comes up with an error. This has gone on for months now and it has taken my money for the ugliest items ever. I cant remove my card because it is attached to a subscription, I cant cancel the subscription, and I cant turn off auto renew.

I've been promised a callback on 5 occasions, none of them materialised.
Charged on a card that wasn't connected to any of my accounts, trying to chase a refund and an explanation. Agents copy and paste more text than type. Incredibly slow in more than one meaning.

Cant sign in

Everytime I sign in the page never loads, my xbox was recently stolen and I just want to get on my account long enough to get my serial number, sign out of xbox live, get my account and credit card info off the system, etc but your company is so garbage that you dont even have customer service I can call

Lied to by Microsoft

I had an order cancelled by microsoft in error.
As soon as i noticed the canceled order i called in and was told it would be fixed on their end.

Several weeks later i find out they wernt dealing with this. So now i have no product or order on the way.

I purchased a new Microsoft Surface Pro 6 a few months ago. I was very pleased with this product except the exterior shell color wore off. I contacted Microsoft and they suggested a replacement refurbished computer. I was very surprised they would suggest such a thing. My computer was only a few months old. The exterior shell color is definatelly of poor quality. I would not recommend this product. Ness

I have repeatedly tried to cancel my account. Repeatedly failed. Tried to contact, repeatedly failed. The app lags and requires hours of updates each time I've tried to use it. I have gotten 0 for my money. And STILL I'm being charged because I cannot contact a PERSON for help.

I ordered a product off of this site I put my new address in and after it went through it reverted back to an old address. It took 11 calls to finally get through to someone to make up up for their mistake and they said it wouldn't be sent out that turned out to be a lie and it was deliver to the wrong address. Customer service was basically useless

I byed a Xbox one on Friday 13 jan 2017. 45 gb update then a 100 gb to download my Wi-Fi got finished 200 20gb I get every month this only.
Every game we have to update every single game about 20 20gb very bad. I prefer to bye ps is best in all

I bought Windows 8.1 pro from Target a while ago. I have a MacBook pro and I run bootcamp. Hard drive failed after a few years. Replaced hard drive. Rein-stalled Windows. To my surprise, windows couldn't validate the key. Called customer service and they pushed me from one rep to the next stating the key was legit, but there was something wrong with the system and could not validate it. I will stay away from Microsoft for as long as I can.

Do not ever buy anything from this greedy corporation. If you have any problems with your brand new, within warranty products, Microsoft will simply replace your product with REFURBISHED one, instead of providing you with brand new item. Even though you have spent several thousand dollars. If I wanted something second-hand, I would have gone to a second-hand store to begin with.

MS 365 RUN AWAYYYY! If I could give them a minus 5 i would! These MFrs. Bought MS 365, wouldn't let me download it, continued to give me the same error message. I went on the MS support website and did everything under the sun to correct the problem according to their suggestions. Still nothing. NO WAY to get a refund. They want you on an endless yearly subscription! When looking to get live help, Endless redirecting you through different links to end up in same place. You can't talk to anyone. On one tab, they have you talking to a bot that keeps asking for the same information and then just disconnects. I've been on a tech support page for over 2 hours with a notice that says my current position in line is 1... for OVER 2 HOURS! This is infuriating! Like they don't make enough money to hire people to help you LIVE! Argggggghhhh
