Too bad

Too bad. Lookbyfare is taking advantage from you. You can imagine that airlines charged only $706.22 USD for my tickets, but Lookbyfare charged my $1283. 22 USD. The difference of $577 USD is their profit.

The worst problem is that flights were cancelled because of COVID19, they have not given me full refund after 23 days gone by.

Poor customer service

We recently booked a flight from Vancouver to Grande Prairie for a family emergency thru lookbyfare and it will be our last time. The whole experience from booking to paying was a nightmare. The representative that booked the flight was more interested in making the sale then discussing or matching other advertised specials but was sure to ask for a good review. Then when calling to discuss a bereavement refund we we're quickly kicked to the curb, the representative did not know how or what to do. Train your people.

I Booked on this site by accident. My e ticket was issued with correct names. When I went to check in the day of the flight, one of the name were wrong. I called three times to try to get it squared away and all three times I was put on hold a no one came back.

I tried to book from lookupfare online a trip from Johannesburg to Nairobi charged at 394$ but nothing had been done. The confirmation email came in but there is nothing booked and the card was charged. It took me 3 days to call the airline company but they couldn't trace anything from my details I presented. I lost my money and no response after I called them on the phone. They just drop the phone and no one responds later. I had to break my travel home till now.

Therefore I have no reservation to advice future clients not to be cheated again. They are going so good in technology and hold on search engines very fast. Please it is a SCAM. KEEP OFF.

I wish I could give 0 reviews on this "agency". It's true he worst service I've ever used. When I first booked the flight, they called me so that " I could get a seat assigned". Since I didn't get my confirmation email after booking the flight, as usual, I thought this was a scam. After I called my bank to cancel the transaction because I never got the confirmation email, I finally got it. After that, I had a huge problem because my second last name wasn't included in the ticket, these people had me calling Iberia because "based on their policies" they couldn't do anything to change/add my second last name. That was a lie, I called Iberia and they said they couldn't do anything because the ticket had been bought by a third party (cheapflights.com). At this point, I was very disappointed i was not only going to miss my vacation, but also loose my money. Plus, lookup fare kept telling me to call them back in 4 hours, in 8 hours, in 10 hours call after call and I was stupid to keep waisting my time in this scammers. They never got it resolved, but told me my only option was to book a new flight and then, I would get reimbursement of my money. HELL NO. How would I know i was going to get my money back?
Now, I'm waiting to see if my bank can do anything about this, all I can say is PLEASE don't use this website. You can also deals through justfly.com or websites with better reviews. These people would yell at you and try to make you believe it's your fault they're stealing your money.

I accidently booked a flight through this site instead of directly through the airline. I now need to cancel for a medical reason (I purchased insurance through the site and also have a doctor's note). They don't seem to have any customer service! Their phone number does not work (it disconnects after about 30 seconds) and they don't respond to emails. To quote several other reviewers: "STAY AWAY"!

STAY AWAY

I was trying to book flights and they showed me specific flight. After I booked the flights, the status of the flights were pending. Customer service rep took over an hour to call me back saying the flight was all booked and he could only accommodate me on a different flight that was going to be a lot more expensive. I expressed my frustration with him letting me know that I was trying to book all day but I had questions and no one was getting back to me.

Long story short this is a total SCAM! Please don't get trapped in this mess and ended up on the phone with guy named Justin apparently that was his name. Such a waste of time!

I just booked through them. I don't know how I got to this site but don't use it! Go to the airline directly to get the best rates. My ticket was pending. I called and the price went up $100. Then they reduced price to $251 and I confirmed. Contacted airline and got 50 dollars lower price. Called back and they matched price but I was so upset that I wanted to cancel. They said they already charged the card even though we never got a confirmation. Have to wait 7-10 days for refund. RIP OFF! Don't use.

Scam! Stay away
June 26, 2019

I made reservations for my kids and I on the phone, for roundtrip airline tickets from LA to Cabo and back, and was told a confirmation would be emailed to me. They immediately charged my card. Two days go by and I still had not received an email. I called them back and were no reservations at all! Nothing! I was on the phone with them for an hour and a half why they claim they were "looking" for my reservations. I finally hung up the phone and called my credit card company and disputed the charge. I Made reservations through a different agent and had to pay more because of the time I had lost with these people!
They are scammers and this is fraud!

I booked round trip tickets to Spain with 4 legs. I arrived e hours early to the airport only to find out they had booked my flight and cancelled it. There was no ticket for me when i showed up at the airport. I called them 2 of the phone numbers would just hang up on me. I finally got through to them and they gave me a confirmation number that did not show up at.
This was a dream vacation I was traveling with a friend and meeting a friend there. I bought tickets over the counter for $2953. 2. I have called for 2 weeks to get my refund only to get the run around. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They get a zero.

What a Rip Off!

First I typed in another booking site and Lookupfare popped up with that site included in its title. Being in a hurry and emergency situation I mistakenly thought I was dealing with the site I intended to use. This site quoted a price then when I booked the flight it said transaction pending contact. They never contacted then when we did the price was raised $50.00 more then the flight was finalized at that price. Then received email with that price and confirmation. Then 3 hours later received ticket email and it showed where this company charged $440.00 above the price agreed upon. So needless to say DO NOT USE THIS SITE ITS A SCAM!

My review is a zero. The agent Amber didn't do what she was supposed to do. My 2 round trip tickets to Europe went from $1326 to $1700 because Amber never booked mt aer Lingus flight and I had to get my own tickets. If I hadn't called to confirm my tickets I would have gone to the airport and not had tickets. I never got my money back and the manager Marcellus did nothing but blow smoke. Use another company as this on truly does suck.

I booked a ticket using Lookupfare.com I received a confirmation, but the money was never taken out of my account. Shortly, after I started receiving scam emails. I tried numerous times to call the company, but couldn't get through - the phone number would literally dial then hang up. This was a bad experience.
