Loaded with 'Tire-kickers' and people who only want a response for something to do. They all ask 'Hi. Is this item still available?" even when you post in the ad that it is. Don't waste your time trying to sell on this site! If I could give this a zero star rating I would! Letgo is a Letdown!

I don't know what everyone else is talking about on here; I love letgo. I usually do ask people if they'll take a little less than the posted price but I'm also very interested in every item about which I inquire. I have bought an exercise bike, a playstation 3, xbox games, and a cell phone from people using the app just in the last few months. I highly recommend it!

This site is one of the most counterintuitive and difficult sites I've ever encountered. I'm looking for a used car, and, there are no filters (effectively) and after about 5 minutes of trying to create some semblance of order to my search, I gave up. Can't believe it's ongoing; no idea if public or private company... if I had money, and it were public, I'd short the stock.

I used LetGo a lot 6 months ago. Lately all the app wants to do is make money off you by "helping you sell," no thanks I dont need you getting a cut. Many people say "I'm interested," then go to lunch. Its going downhill FAST!

Useless waste of time

What a waste of my time and energy. I've listed 12 things over a 6 month period. I sold three things, and I had to drive 10 miles for one, and the other two were almost given away. By the time that you've got your second item listed, the first item is so far down the list that nobody is ever going to see it. I had my quality items listed dirt cheap, and the only single response I received was an insult asking if I'd almost give it to him. I've listed great things as free, and still no response. This site sounds good on paper, but in reality, it's worthless.

I decided to sign up on letgo months ago I spent a lot of time taking photos uploading them and writing descriptions. I have yet to sell one thing and all items that say sold were sold on Facebook or somewhere else. As other said people do not buy on here and they show interest once and then disappear. Will no longer use letgo! And now I heard they charge to bump, are you kidding me?

No one ever buys anything. Had 14 pairs of like brand new Jordans. Not one person bought only asked stupid questions and then never responded back and if they did they expected them to be like $20. Everyone kept not showing up. Its a big waste of time. Worst app ever. Then people just to be dic*s would text at 3-4 in the morning in spanish but yet their accounts are in English. They have the rudest people on this app. I would rate a zero if i could. They dont even deserve a 1

Almost all the buyers haggle or what they call negotiate. I have sold six items on LetGo in 3 months so far all for bottom dollar or below market. There is to many junk seller that give away for free which creates a harmful culture of free or dirt cheap on LetGo. Selling is difficult as buyers have their attention taken away and buying is difficult because a lot of junk is posted quickly because of how LetGo is structured.

This app sucks the way it is designed motivates negative experiences. Buyers haggle price and never show up. Retaliatory negative reviews are very common.

Need trading acumen to consult on how to redesign this app.

I counted, I got 26 "Is it still available?" posts in one day and once I responded with "Yes, do you have a question I can answer about the item?" --- crickets! Frustrating and time wasting. Have never had success selling anything on that site. Worst!

I have been very successful selling things on this app, and I like that you can review your buyers after the sale. People please try to vet you're interested people and make sure you have a well populated place to meet and a designated time. Message them again about an hour before you're to meet to make sure they are coming before you spend your time traveling there. If people do not show up within 20 minutes and you cannot contact them, leave and just report them as a bad buyer! I see some of the reviews of people waiting two hours that's ridiculous! Leave and move on! I did fill out a survey on letgo and told them The reason I only rated a 3 Star is because of that annoying Allison robot that keeps messaging me trying to re-list my items for $1.99! I have tried blocking her but she still sends her messages through and annoys me! Because of her I am seriously considering dropping let go.

Everyone on here is so cheap, and $#*!ed. You might as well just stick with Craigslist honestly.
I was selling a pair of $200 head phones for only $25, and you get $#*!s asking for a better deal, or for free... these are the type of idiots you will be talking to -_-

Potential buyers

I guess I don't fully understand the mindset of some of the people (potential buyers). I've received several inquiries about items asking if the item is still available. I respond accordingly and then never hear back. Thus, why ask if you are not truly interested. This gets quite frustrating/annoying.

Worthless!

I don't understand this app at all. I posted 16 different items and have received over 100 responses and not one sale. I'm not sure what people are looking for. "Is it for sale?" Response "yes" then never a response after that. Or, would you take $50? Response "yes" then no follow up again. It's like this app only serves for people to ask if something is for sale but not to actually buy anything. Complete waste of time. Definitely don't recommend.

This app is the worst. When we lived out West we had no issues with selling and meeting up with legit buyers. Out East we've had three times in a row of buyers with "verified" accounts and good member reviews have good communication then completely flake and no-show at the meeting point. I think it's a bunch of kids making accounts and verifying each other's accounts and messing with people all day long. I have no other explanation! I will not proceed with selling anything else on this complete waste of my time app. There needs to be a better verifying system in place and accountability if you flake. So pissed!

Terrible Customer service

Letgo probably has the worst customer service I've had ever seen not only do they not have a phone number to contact but the email is automated and doesn't help solve your issues. Plus they flagged my profile for no reason and decided to suspend and delete my posting. I will never be using letgo again!

Wonderful idea! I have bought some things easily and inexpensively, that I needed when my grandson was coming to visit. But I don't need to buy things every day or every week or every MONTH. I received daily emails about items I already purchased. I got so many alerts all night long on the app that I had to delete that. I have written two emails begging them to take me off their email list and only get a canned response. Their marketing is intrusive and takes over like a disease. There's got to be a better way, so the customer has a little control.

They pulled my listing and still won't tell me why. Just generic "you may have violated our rules." What rule was violated? I cannot get into my account and now I'm told that the developers "found a glitch" and are working on fixing it. Sure, I believe you, LetGo, I mean, you only jerked me around for weeks and I still cannot get into my account.

Most of the complaints here are about buyers. This is another Craig's List, Etsy, Ebay type of forum. As a seller, you must be cautious. I was getting a lot of hits on the house I'm trying to sell and the total lack of customer service by LetGo is extremely frustrating.

Tons of Scammers
August 30, 2017

I think letgo is full of scammers so wanted to check reviews more deeply, and as I'm going through the reviews it seems that I am correct. I had an interested buyer asking me for my full name and address and that she would send me a check from her bank and have someone pick up the items. She didn't even care to come see them! Never ever ever take a check from anyone. Cash or no deal. I'm not really feeling this app at all. Would have potential but unless Letgo can figure out how to filter out and block all scammers this is a scary app.

I have had 2 offers on a piece of furniture that I am trying to sell... great... BUT my messages to the potential buyer will not send. I have contacted Letgo... and they will get back with me in 24 hours.
I have sent and re-sent nine messages to one buyer hoping that 1 would make it to him. 10 minutes later, the message still shows as "Sending"?!
Yes, I started and restarted the computer in case there was a problem. I've googled the problem: no solution. I searched the Apple App Store to see if maybe I need the phone app and... the app does not show up?!

Annoying

I listed many items, gave away a couple
Of things and sold one thing. Every other interaction I have had on the site (a lot) were total wastes of time. I found the overall experience very frustrating. In fact, I ended up deleting the app all together. I would rather have junk sit in my closet indefinitely than to answer a bunch of dumb questions like "is in still available?" only to get no further in my quest to get rid of my things. You are better off having a yard sale.
