First time I've used this company. You can't speak with someone there, only through chatting. The guy I spoke with was very helpful - but once I ordered things got worse. I sent my daughter's frame (Neostyles), paid in advance of course, frames never arrived -- and no one to speak with. So out several hundred dollars, and back at square one.
I have a lot of experience with online eyeglass companies and i finally found the best one. I had my own frames and sent them to Lensabl. They made some very special and excellent lenses for them and sent them back to me very quickly. I had a special request that was very important to me and jason promised me he would take care of it, and he did! I can't say enough good things about the service.
These lenses are just as good, if not better, than any lenses i've ever gotten from top optometrists. The last time i was at the optometrist my new glasses were going to be $900 including some middle of the road frames. That was the last straw. So i found an excellent deal on some super quality frames (Persol) and sent them to Lensabl. I got just the lenses i wanted (progressives with a very specific coating), and they are perfect. Total cost of frames and lenses was about $240. These glasses would have been $1,000+ at my optometrist.
I sent them a custom frame and didn't expect them to be able to make my lenses considering the complexity of the frame. Happy to report that they fit perfect and the lenses have an HD high-quality polish giving my frames a luxury expensive look. The glasses arrived in a custom box along with a case, micro-fiber cloth, and Lensabl cleaning solution. I'm so happy with the shipping and fast delivery that I'm going to send them a second pair to make for me. Thinking a vintage Rayban pair this time! Thanks Lensabl, I'll be back :)

I tried to replace 2 frames: one sunglasses and one regular. 5 weeks later (and not 5 business days as promised) after writing several emails I got my glasses back BOTH with sunglasses lenses. After a redo they sent me my frames with an awful glare that created a very strong reflection when you look at artificial lights, making it impossible to see anything. Then after ignoring me for several days, they tell me that they will only fix it if I pay extra. Apparently seeing three sets of artificial lights instead of one is a normal thing according to this company.
They also delete bad reviews on their website and social media and try to screw you whenever they can.
They must have tons of reversed charges because this company has an AWFUL standing with MasterCard.
Rudy is the most incompetent person in the customer service. He doesn't know his product and gives you a misleading information. When your glasses come out wrong because he gave you a wrong advice, he tells you it's YOUR fault and he isn't obliged to warn you about possible defects.
If you are screwed by this company at least try to resolve your issues with somebody else.
Have been in correspondence for several months. They refuse to refund or correct the inaccurate prescription. Their stock answer is to quote my original prescription, which was made improperly, and to insist that it is correct. This is a crooked company.
I had 2 pairs of glasses made. First, they say I sent the wrong prescription for one pair. To test several glasses makers, at the same time I ordered from ZENNI. Zenni asked me to SEND THE PRESCRIPTIONS when they weren't sure the glass prescription made sense. Turns out, I mis-entered something. That's MY bad, but Zenni checked, Lensabl did not. I didn't see (on Lensabl) the option to attach a prescription but they said the option was there.
But here's the REAL problem... The second set of glasses was the CORRECT prescription. I tried out the glasses and I was OK with them... until a few days after having them, I went to the theatre and EVERYTHING IN THE DISTANCE WAS A BLUR. I changed to my other set of lenses and they were perfect.
So blame me for a wrong prescription, fine -- my bad. But for the right prescription? The glass was TERRIBLE.
DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING FROM LENSABL. Bad customer service, PUSHY, and BAD PRODUCT.
I had a great experience with Zenni which was half the price, and Warby Parker which was more expensive but better quality.

I had been shopping around for a lens only company that didn't cost me a fortune and I found Lensabl. It was easy to upload my prescription and send my glasses to Lensabl. The shipping is free or you can choose priority shipping. Customer service is the bomb. They respond to your questions or concerns rapidly. They are legit and my glasses were made with the highest care and standards. Will be getting all my lenses changed using Lensabl!

Sent my Persol semi-rimmed frames to have Transition XTRActive AR Single Vision lens with blue mirroring in about a couple weeks ago and just received them back. They're Great! Love them - Fantastic job Lensabl!

This is the first time I ever ordered glasses from an online company, totally pleased with the glasses, the service and the cost. I had a slight scratch on my lensabl lenses, no fault of the company. As I was within the 90 day renewal period they completely replaced my transitions lenses with all the premium coatings, and they did it fast too. I'm a paranoid type when it comes to send in your frames services, but they tolerated all my paranoid emails and never left me in the dark as to what was going on. This is my second pair with lensabl but it won't be the last.
I sent in an old frame to be fitted with my new prescription and they did a great job with quick turnaround... thanks... I love my new old glasses!

Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
