I ordered new lens for my frames. The experience was perfect. Better experience than going to a chain eyeglass company. I will use them again.
I was super excited to get the lenses from Lensabl when my glasses broke and purchased new ones.
I got mine back after maybe 2-3 weeks, but was very disappointed to find my left lens came without any prescription. I had to send them back for a redo, and waited another two weeks to finally receive them back. First of all, my original lens were no where to be found. But secondly, I was mostly disappointed with the redo lens. Both my eyes were -4.50, so the lens should be same or similar, but the redo lens was cut way too deep with a sharper angle, which was noticeable when I looked in the mirror.
The customer service was helpful about sending in the redo, but not sympathetic when I told him if I can get my glasses as soon as I can because my old glasses were broken (and also it was their mistake in the first place). He just never responded, nor updated me on the status when I emailed him about the status. I could not follow up or track my redo online because it never showed. I understood about the longer wait time considering what's happening with COVID, but I just wish he updated me with the status. The mail just showed up one day, and good thing I was at work to receive the mail, otherwise I would have to wait another week.
The overall experience was disappointing. I would recommend to friends and family because of its price point and my right lens look great, but I would share my experience and not to expect too much from Lensabl.
My experience could not have been any easier, from my initial order it was just that simple! I had to change my shipping address and they got back to me the very next day! Great job oh and the price was very fair

The lenses I received are fine, although they seem significantly thicker that other lenses, made of the same index material, that I have on other, similarly shaped and sized frames. The other issue is that I sent my frames in a glasses case that I quite like, and which was not returned with my finished glasses. There was no communication that my case would be discarded, and I am frankly mad to have lost it. Lensabl needs to make it clear that your case will be lost, or just return it.
This is my second time using Lensabl. My glasses turned out just as great as the first time. Somehow they still cost less than through my insurance and gave me much more freedom. I can use almost any frames and have the ability to create sunglasses lenses and in a large color range. I will most certainly use Lensabl again when I need new lenses, as well as recommending them to my friends.
Due to not only the pandemic but the exhaustive time I usually spend trying on glasses in a store, I decided to try something new. I went to several sites to find frames, only to find they didn't have frames to fit my pupillary distance or were not my style at all. I even did an at-home try-on from another site which led to not liking any of the frames at all. Well, then I found Lensabl, who could not only make my high-prescription special lenses, but could put them in any frame I found. I ordered frames that I didn't try-on or see in person first and sent them off to Lensabl. While it took a bit of time, it honestly didn't take too much longer than my normal place takes with my special lenses. I was able to get the Crizal lenses which I can already tell are doing so much better for my eyes and my high-powered prescription, but also seem clearer for people with astigmatism and doesn't glare as much with the rays we see off lights. The price was great too, even was able to get reimbursed through my vision insurance for over 75% of what they normally cover for lenses (they never cover high-index, so the price didn't surprise me at all). I was pleasantly surprised as well with my two customer service interactions. The first, I had emailed with a copy of my prescription to make sure they could make them and I had an answer only a few hours after they opened (I emailed middle of the night during work). Then I asked for an order status because the screen had been showing 5 days from shipping for over a week. I got an immediate "let me check into this" email reply, and only a few minutes later, I got the updated status that they had found an issue in final inspection and were remaking my lenses because they didn't pass. I'd much rather have them take the extra time to make sure they are perfect and they sure seem to be. I even got a very nice case and a travel size cleaning kit and cloth, something that always costs extra at the store I normally go to. I was highly impressed with the entire process. As someone who has been wearing glasses since they were 7 years old and has been going through the process now for 21 years, this is definitely an awesome place to go. I have told everyone about my experiences as they were truly great.
One of the lens has a couple of gaps between the frame and looking through them at car displays or cell phone is difficult because of the rainbow effect like really cheap sunglasses.
I thought lensbl was a fast turn around but it's close to a month on mine. They failed inspection one time and still came out with gaps which should not have passed.
Overall I can only give a two star but would change it if the gap and rainbow could be fixed
Honestly, I am so happy I found Lensabl. I was looking for lens replacement services — easy and convenient to do online and I found them! I had a pair of blue light Quay frames that I wanted with my rx. The fastest service I've ever received for lenses! I'm pretty sure I shipped and got my lenses back in a week. So happy with my glasses! A+++++
My experience was amazing. The place I got my prescription said they could not put my prescription in my frames. I sent them to lensable and after about a week they came back perfectly in shape. I was very happy about my purchase.
I am absolutely happy with my new glasses. The glasses took a bit of time but I found out that it was because the lenses produced had imperfections and needed to be redone. I appreciated that I was not sent a rushed order and that the lenses were thoroughly tested before sent to me. When I finally did receive it, I was thrilled at how clear the lenses are. Lensabl did a tremendous job and I will look to them for all of my future eyewear needs. If you're having second thoughts, I promise you'll be happy with your product.

It was ok. Communication & making contact was not as convenient as I expected. My glasses over all seem alright but after more than A couple of months, I am still having trouble adjusting to them.

I placed my order for Bose Frames Prescription Lenses on August 11th.
They were in the lab and haven't updated for over 2 weeks. After 3 emails, they moved to final inspection, 4 days later, I get a delayed notification that they shipped. I received them September 2nd.
They work great, but I may have ordered the frames too big, which is on me. They even included the lenses that were originally in the Bose Frames. During the whole process, it poked at my patience, hard, for something that I saved for all summer.
I would recommend them, but for people who are not in a hurry to receive them.

Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
